  1. As she cried and he comforts her things turned a bit differently. His offer to stick around rejected he'd arch a brow. Listening to her words a smile would have formulated as he shook his head. "No, you were not wrong for feeling. You were wrong for disregarding truths, facts and the lives lost. We can't help but how we feel and that is not wrong. It is only when we ignore the truth in hopes for something more lucrative that we are ever wrong. Life isn't about how much you make, who you know, who you lie with in the end. It's about what paths you take, what experiences you have and living with no regrets. Leaving no stone unturned and truly experiencing a life worth living. I didn't mean to scold you so harshly, I just wanted you to realize how serious a desire you had; that if you truly wished for that experience. You could do what I said and you'd come as close to that loss as you could. No one would be any wiser." he'd say sighing as he crouched down she hugged him. Hugging her back his hands sliding up through her hair pulling her into a warm embrace. his cheek beside her's he'd speak again softly into her ear, "I'm glad you decided against that idea." he said warmly as he let her go and rubbed the back of his head, "Well kiddo once you've gone ahead and mastered that hero business you've been meaning to. Give me a pm and I'll meet up and we can do lunch or something then get you into the guild; that is of course if you still want to?"

He'd say with a warm smile before attempting to head off only to be stopped in his tracks by a small group of thugs, their leader wearing an eye patch and carrying a club. Their stench awful and their attire tattered, turning back to her he'd smile and look back at them, "Afternoon Gentleman how can I help you....?" he'd asked as the leader lifted the club, You can start by handing over your coin and never returning to my city again; these fools think your a god. But even a god can bleed and I intend to make them see you're nothing more than a con man. A low life wanna be hero taking advantage of them. A brow would arch as steele covered his chest arms folded, "Is that so, you think that lowly of me. Remind me again, you are the one hassling me and trying to shake me down; no honor among thieves it seems. Although I'm not a thief as you think. But what I can say is I never claimed to be a god, just a vessel for Lord Tyl. Now if you'd like to see proper justice done, well I can arrange that." he'd say with a confident grin as the leader grunted and spoke one more, Waste this bastard boys... He'd say as he turned his back and laughed. It was then Steele had gone into a defensive stance and once more took forth to fight; providing support and protection for the people of the village. his shield bashing some of the men into a stun, the blade slashing up their clothes further. Knocking them out or causing them to run he'd laugh aloud and call out to their leader taunting.

"That the best your men can do, run off or pass out on me. How about we finish this like men. One on One and if I win you leave with all your men and never return or Tyl strike you dead. If you win, you can take my life and all my belongings. He'd say his body already pretty beat up. Eyes shifting some as the contract was drawn he'd agree and soon so would their leader. A faint smile passed as he took fourth rushing at the male his shield soon feeling the wrath of that club; spiked at that. His blade slashing at the male's body was counted blocked before the shield slammed into the arm with the club hard; a crack heard as the male shouted in pain. His rage setting in as he swiftly took on an aggressive and rough series of strikes against him; despite the armor and shield he'd take a nice chunk of health. Lips parting he'd wipe some blood, "Now your fate is sealed..." he'd say as he began to glow red; his eyes taking on a crimson glow as it streaked behind him as he ran forth now faster and striking much harder his blows each hitting the enemy taking a direct hit as he combo broke past the weapon and knocked the male down pinning him. Hoping for surrender; moments later he'd gasp for breath and agree. Turning his back the male would make a sneak attack as it cracked the club over his head; an arm blocking last moment as blood rolled down. Angered eyes staring at the male he'd part his lips. "You've broken your word, undone the contract. Now...you pay." he'd say slicing off the male arm in a swift slash.

Now armless and bleeding out the male would fall back in pain as Aaron walked over his body still a glow as pointed the blade; "I won't kill you, but that will forever be a reminder of our encounter. Now get out of here before I leave these nice town folks to slay you..." he'd say as he exited his enraged state as he turned to the female, "I've become an expert in that skill. It's a bit easier to control now." he'd say sighing as he soon turned to begin working on his wounds, attempting to heal them as best he could. Eyes shifting. He'd smile at the cheering towns folk and wave taking his leave. He knew the bandits and the girl, today was going to be a day to remember one he'd soon never forget, but as he walked away he'd shout once more, "You better become a hero soon. Otherwise, me and my wife won't be able to throw that party!" he said teasing as he made his way off the beaten path and off towards the Horizon.
