On the border of Norfova and Astorea, a peculiar oasis has been grown from the wasteland. A bath house stands nestled in a verdant area full of strange flowers, trees, and shrubs the likes of which are seen no where else in the known territories. Natural, rainbow-colored hot springs dot the area in scattered clusters, some turning into creeks and streams that continue to steam as they wind away. Surrounded by trees far younger than they appear is a collection of greenhouses connected together to form both a luxurious spa and perfect nurseries for the odd plants.

A few of the natural hot springs are enclosed in the structures, creating the hot and humid feel of a jungle that adds an exotic aura to the bath house portions. The heady scent of flowers and fruit are as dizzying as the heat. The buildings are regularly tended to to keep the lush vegetation from swallowing them whole and the NPCs at Pelham Springs are always working to plant, water, and harvest the surrounding flora both inside and out. All the proceeds from visiting tourists to the botanical gardens and patrons of the bath house go to fund a rather unique organization.

Pelham Springs is run by a pair of married Faerin, a Velten by the name of Celyn Lore and an Ascen by the name of Gladiola Lore. A few others of various races help staff the massive gardens and spa. With the way south opened, the Lores have recently welcomed a few druids from Yladia into the fold. All of the NPCs present are apart of an effort to reintroduce the near extinct native species of plants back to Norfova's ravaged land. Evocative mages of various kinds, naturamancers, alchemists, and botanists have come together in the name of conservation. Their project doesn't run on hope and so they have opened the oasis to patrons seeking the spa, as well as alchemists and cooks looking for herbs and other plants that were once thought to be extinct after the blood magic plagued Norfova into decay. Despite the difficulty of their task, more and more of the desert around them has sprung to life. Word of their research in the purification and combating of hemomancy has also begun to spread in recent times.

Three small shrines can also be found on the property. Half submerged in one of the smaller hot springs is an altar with a crown carved into the smooth stone. The base of the crown was chiseled to sit perfectly on the surface of the water in honor of Iedi and her symbol. Naturamancers in charge of tending the outdoor flora have grown a singular oak in the thickest of the gardens, using magic to coax it into the shape of a woman. Offerings to Uene are often left at the knotted roots the figure's legs turn into. At the entrance to the bath house itself is a smaller garden with a small, humble tree planted in the middle. A powerful enchantment has been cast on it by one of Pelham Springs' mages so that it radiates its own gentle sunlight in the name of Qora. Whether the conservationists or patrons actually believe the altars will help heal the wounded land or not, it is clear they are more than willing to try.

There is also a ramshackle stall outside of the bath houses where some of the staff have made or ordered various items to add to their revenue. The collection of useless trinkets makes for an incredibly cheesy giftshop, featuring items like flower charms that can be tied onto weapons, pressed flower bookmarks, and mugs made to look like planting pots. The hottest selling item is a trash tier shirt that proclaims "I went to Pelham Springs and all I got was this lousy armor."

    Activities
Soak in the Hot Springs... In the heart of Pelham Springs' property is a collection
of greenhouses connected together to form both a luxurious spa and perfect nurseries for the odd plants. A few of the natural hot springs are enclosed in the structures, creating the hot and humid feel of a jungle that adds an exotic aura to the bathhouse portions. The heady scents of flowers and fruit are as dizzying as the heat. There is a massive co-ed bath, two decently-sized spas for men or women, and a handful of smaller and more private pools in other sections. An unimpressed Hydromancer on staff warns you to behave yourself in them.

Wander the Gardens... Pelham Springs features a verdant area full of strange flowers, trees, and shrubs the likes of which are seen no where else in the known territories. Natural, rainbow-colored hot springs dot the area in scattered clusters, some turning into creeks and streams that continue to steam as they wind away. There are both well-tended gardens and overgrown areas to explore.

Visit Uene's Shrine... Naturamancers in charge of tending the outdoor flora have grown a singular oak in the thickest of the gardens, using magic to coax it into the shape of a woman. Offerings to Uene are often left at the knotted roots the figure's legs turn into.

Visit Iedi's Shrine... Half submerged in one of the smaller hot springs is an altar with a crown carved into the smooth stone. The base of the crown was chiseled to sit perfectly on the surface of the water in honor of Iedi and her symbol. Lilypads with small, white blooms float peacefully in clusters.

Visit Qora's Shrine... At the entrance to the bath house itself is a smaller garden with a frail, humble tree planted in the middle. A powerful enchantment has been cast on it by one of Pelham Springs' mages so that it radiates its own gentle sunlight in the name of Qora.
