Running into somebody this high on the mountain wasn’t typical, but neither was the entire situation at hand. A young lad was being trained by some witch up here in the middle of nowhere. This might be a trap, but honestly this wouldn’t stop him from helping somebody in need.
Taking both his fists and placing them on his hips, as he gave the boy a smirk.
“
Fear not young man! I will make sure that witch pays for her treachery” Specter stated, glancing up the mountain and back at the boy. “I will retrieve your stone and free you from the old hag” of course, he wasn’t actually sure how to… Do that.
Magic wasn’t Specter’s motif, in fact if he could avoid magic it was
all the better.
"
I honestly have little experience with magic, but I'm sure I can find somebody to help me with that" Specter explained, possibly not making this kid feel any better about his situation. "
However, you should probably find a shelter or something in the meantime. It gets cold out here" The feline man suggested, as he turned to rub his chin. Specter knew that he’d likely need help with this magic business.
After a half hour trek down the mountainside to one of the common paths, he decided to wait for the next person to enter Hylands. Crossing his arms and leaning against a tree, he whistled back and forth with the snow buntings. It was a while before a person was seen on the horizon, he smirked and ended his whistling competition.
“
Hey” Specter called out, raising his hand to gesture them over.
“
You want to help me with a mission?” he asked, of course he didn't know if they were any better than him with magic... Of course, perhaps the two of them could over power the witch.
