Personality
"So what? It's just a game."
Aubrey's personality can best be described as abrasive to most and downright rude to others, having been brought up without much attention paid to her or having received a lot of lessons in caring about the feelings of others, Aubrey has grown into an attitude in which she simply does not care about what other people think and does for the most part whatever she wants - damn the consequences.
However, this attitude often gets her into trouble more than anything, and further, she has a habit of easily getting on the nerves of others by antagonizing them or by attacking them unprovoked just because she can.
She has begun trying to be more methodical in her approach to things after learning about just how immersive Terrasphere was and how the key to winning a battle wasn't just by stabbing the other person to death; it was outsmarting them so that you didn't
have to stab them to death. With that in mind, her personality in-game has adapted somewhat into a sneering villain-type who will do pretty much anything for the right amount of money and intends to make herself strong enough to take on the best players in the process.
Outside of the game, Aubrey retains her tough exterior and tends to distance herself from others if they are causing her trouble; however, she has no trouble in making new friends or striking up a conversation with someone she feels interested in. She also attends a weekly guitar-learning course and intends, at some point, to begin producing her own music, revealing the softer side of the girl that is beneath the bristling exterior.
Positive: Free Spirit, Creative, Loyal (to the few she cares about).
Negative: Antagonistic, Amoral, Brash.
Biography
Aubrey spent much of her childhood moving from house to house with her family due to her parent's jobs forcing them to relocate every other year, making it difficult to maintain relationships or establish new ones due to her house constantly being uprooted and her family being moved to a new state pretty much at the drop of a hat. As a result of this, Aubrey became isolated from the main groups of kids at every new place she moved to and instead would find herself most enamored by the traveling musicians she met, admiring how they were able to take the constant movement in stride and even enjoy it - something Aubrey wished she could do.
Her parents divorced when she was fifteen and she was left in the care of her aunt, who worked a modest job and was modestly paid - but devoted all the free time and money she could to the struggling youth, resulting in a strong bond between the two and Aubrey's enrolment into a music class at the high-school she was currently attending which would awaken her love for the Guitar and the creative spirit which was deep inside of her.
She enjoyed a peaceful life from then on, until the age of eighteen, when her aunt passed away and she was left - again - on her own without anywhere to really turn or run. She was lucky, though, and landed a job just as soon as she graduated high-school and begun renting a small studio apartment where she lives to the current day, purchasing only the bare essentials and - as a bit of a splurge - a Virtual Reality Headset which she would later use to access Terrasphere after one of the kids from her guitar class mentioned it and forwarded the mysterious client her way.
Since then, she has begun exploring the world of the Game with excitement and has created a character which she uses to let out every bit of anger and frustration she has toward the world that kept giving her the short end of the stick, as she sees it, when it came to life in general.
Now, it was her turn.
