  1. Valther held the Tusk parallel to the earth in front of him, breathing out sharply as he placed two fingers against the blade, just above the hilt. Running them up the length of the curved blade, he whispered "Gelidus," under his breath, and the edges of the sword glowed a bright blue, jagged shards of ice creeping up the center of the sword, and gentle wisps of cold spiraling from the edges like frozen tendrils. He could feel the mana flowing through his cotton glove freeze and condense into the blade, transferring its power, and his breath came out in white puffs as the energy held within his hood also chilled.

Holding the blade up, Val admired the frozen state of his blade, while at the same time wondering whether ice physics worked in the game as they did in the real world; would the weapon become weaker while frozen? It was an important question, since he'd just purchased this sword, and didn't have to buy another one so bloody soon. Bringing the blade down quickly through the air, he shouted "Exsolvo!" and the ice riding the blade leaped off in a dance of icy daggers and frost, dissipating quickly as the humid atmosphere swept it up into mere moisture.

Val lowered his hood and breathed out once more, his breath still visible as the cool mana hung in the air like a thick, invisible fog. His weapon was so cold he could feel it even through his snug cotton gloves, his free hand dancing across the blade to feel the curve of the rear edge. Passing the blade into his left hand, he held it in reverse and drove it gently into he housing of the sheath, the hilt clicking against the locket with a satisfying ding. Turning on his heel, Valther set off to find a mob to slay... or maybe an opponent worth fighting.

  2. "Looks like I have enough now I'll head back " a chill crosses his back and a chill passes behind him like a ghost. He is face distorted with disgust at his walk being interrupted but as he turned to look he realised it was someone's misfired ice magic. He thought to himself "I could have been hit " he then decides he might be able to learn something from interacting with him even if it is an idiot he's still a higher level.

He walked up to the man "hey you, yeah you could've hit me " then he realised he must look weird with a sack of clay and covered in mud but who cares this guys not gonna get away with ruining my walk.

  3. Valther cocked his eyebrow and turned to face the owner of the voice that had called him out. He was drenched in mud, and carrying a sack of something... more mud, perhaps? "Oh, I didn't realize you were rolling in the mud over there. Or was it swimming?" he jested, motioning to his mud-soaked appearance. "How the hell does one even get that dirty? Even my pet warthog doesn't collect that much mud when he's rolling around," he laughed sharply and, as if on cue, a pink snout poked out from his inner pocket and sniffed at the air curiously, before snorting happily and crawling out toppling into Valther's readied palm.

Sitting Fred on his shoulder, Valther approached the player he'd supposedly narrowly missed with the blade of ice. "Seriously though, I do apologize for nearly hitting ya. And I am made of questions right now regarding all that mud and whatever the hell's in that sack," he tilted his head curiously. Extending a hand out to the newcomer, he smiled softly. "Name's Valther, and this is Fred."

  4. I walk up and take this valthers hand into a handshake " names Aero Lane " un-clasping valfers hand he opens the sack and drops the clay onto the ground. It stubbornly sticks to the stack then drops with a solid thud the clays in a block about 30 cm, 40 cm by 25 cm " this is something I'm planning on using to, its hard to explain I'll show you" i bend over and digs my fingers into the clay and manages to lug the clay towards valfer using my geomancy to fold it over the front of valfer and lunging at valfer upper half and pushing him down. My hand squelch into the clay as I push valfer down and land on top of him while moulding the clay into the grass." Now I guess we're both dirty hey kuhaha"

  5. Valther only grew more and more curious as a slab of clay plopped onto the earth out of the bag like a melting brick. "Huh? Why the hell would you be carrying clay...?" he muttered, more to himself than Aero. Aero picked up the clay and Val only grew more and more curious. It was then that he realised this player was also a magic user... and intended to use that clay as a weapon. Unable to shift even a single inch to avoid the assault, Aero slung the block of clay like a skipping stone, and it unfolded in mid-air grasping onto his waist and shoulders like a 50 kilogram kevlar vest, and the impact sent Valther sprawling to the earth, Fred squealing loudly as he was flung away.

Val grunted and stared up at the geomancer, a slight smirk crossing his lips. He could feel the clay attaching to the earth below him, keeping him locked in place. "Keh, guess I had that coming," he chuckle and gasped, the combined weight of the clay and the player stealing his breath away. Under his breath, he whispered "Frigus," placing his palm against the clay vest, and frost crept across the restraint, freezing it quickly, some of the frost even beginning to creep up Aero's fingers like icy spiders. Jerking his torso upwards, Val shattered the brittle, frozen earth that secured him to the ground and he forced Aero off of him, pressing the geomancer against the ground instead. Standing to his full, intimidating height he placed a boot against Aero's chest and smirked. "How about them apples?" he taunted before removing his foot and holding his hand out to the boy to help him up.
