Druuk Island wasn't a location Comet visited frequently. Really, it held an interesting backstory and population as compared to what other places to visit the world of Terrasphere offered. She was here for an escort mission. An in-and-out ordeal, so the thieves and criminals and lawlessness wouldn't become too much of a bother before leaving. Comet hardly minded criminals unless they personally bothered her. In fact, she picked a thief-based build as a character for obvious reasons. Lately, however, her views were wishy-washy. Sympathy could consume greed. Greed and envy could team up and take over any sort of rationality. Ambition could turn deadly. All of what made her up became jumbled throughout a complicated journey as Comet. A confident, persistent, pink-haired archer with natural charisma. She played as this young woman easily. Yet upon being jerked back into real life the persona would crumble. A strong shell finally cracked once again repaired without her consent. Darkness crept back into her soul alongside a cold, slowing heart that brought back eye bags and self-doubt and ultimate compliance to please those who surrounded her. For now Comet resonated an aura of intimidation as she stepped onto the island. Nearby her stood a potential partner for the quick support mission: Vas Schneider. They'd been asked to travel aboard a ship with refugees, and afterwards would escort the poor people - most likely NPCs - to the city of Nacre where many of their family now resided. Not much seemed off. The request had been surprisingly genuine and from a simple shopkeeper who happened to be close to the family. With a nod she accepted the job once reward came up during conversation. Still, a bit of her had to have compensation for everything. Selfish reasoning. The refugees awaited Comet and Vas' arrival. Standing in the sand they weren't large in number, but certainly desperate for help. Especially fearful of what might lay ahead. "I know how to get to the cliffs from here. We'll have to take another boat. Something smaller. Are you ready?" she nodded towards her companion of the day with glimmering eyes, ready to take on the challenge. @Vas Schneider
