C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! Season 2 has concluded Thank you everyone for joining us for the grand finale of season 1 and 2. The reward and story wrap up will come out in the next couple of days so stay tune. We are now currently in the off-season. TS will go back to normal operation as we prepare for the massive Season 3 patch, stay tune for more announcement and information regarding Season 3.
Here is the result of the AMA, credit to @Homu for the compilation. Plot Related: Season 2 The shadowy figure is a male NPC and may return in the future. The Caenis race (Carmine) was planned since the introduction of Snefrid. The name of King Theo's sword is not Victor. The name implies that those who are victorious over its owner will suffer a terrible fate. In other word, its passive is the lament of the victors. The super blob aka the Megalomass may come back, along with a few other bosses so people can experience them again in a more personal way. Players who align themselves with Astorea will have the chance to repair parts of the Astorean Capital that got destroyed during the siege. Story related holes/cliffs will be resolved during the off season; e.g. What happened to the Third Princess? Etc. Season 3 and beyond There will be new NPCs, new laws, new factions in the next season. Information regarding what has transpired will be known to everyone. The big war between Astorea and Falderen is considered a historical event for all NPCs. New players would hear about lore and information from NPCs or on the message board IRL. The Lunatic Tribe may returns as a faction and might have it's own factional item. Real world events will become more relevant during season 3. Regarding PC antagonists, there may come a time a PC becomes center of attention. Miscellaneous The Dark Harvest will be a fun and relaxing festival, and it will happen at some point during the off-season. Staff and DM's are resting now so we don't have a set schedule yet. There will be in-game and OOC festivals, but due to how long it takes to RP those kinds of events, they will be few and only cover major holidays unless we compact them into one event. System Balancing Hybrid roles will be getting adjustments. There will possibly be a mastery to empower magic similar to dual wielding/beast taming. Current Mastery The exorcism mastery will remain. Tinker is here to stay and may also get an update. Tinker will encompass both steampunk and magitech, but people can choose to specialize in either, depending on their build. Adding examples and clarifying descriptions to each mastery will happen in a future update. Devotion will be expanded upon. Domestic mastery will be getting an update. Regarding crafting, we are still looking into what can be done to improve the current system. Future Mastery New masteries are coming. The world's technology will advance to include more steampunk/magitech, but firearms will NEVER be considered. Snefrid's Enhanced Berserk is a boss's heroic feat, not a mastery. Race Related Slime girls aren't happening. Race passives are definitely a thing and be expanded on in the future. Vulpines will not be included with Caenis only canine. Starting areas will be expanded on. There will be more specific starting areas for all races. Miscellaneous More titles will be obtainable as the off-season and season 3 progress. Quests will be expanded slightly, wait for more info on this. We finished some testing earlier and will implement changes eventually. Domestic Shops will become a part of the housing system which isn't scheduled until after season 3. It will remain unchanged for now. Marriage system is possibly coming in the future. TerraRP Season 2 A feedback survey regarding the entirety of season 2 is coming. Reward for seasons 3 finale will be coming soon. Season 3 The maintenance is scheduled for no longer than two days at the most. Priority is on keeping the site up and running for as long as possible.
