  1. Aurora took in a deep breath, happy she was back to civilisation in the gaming realm. She made a note not to roam around alone ever again. She was lucky that she met a familiar face when she had lost her way but that lady luck would not always be on her side.
One thing the short girl evaluated of herself was the fact that she needed a magical weapon, one that could help her cast her magic quicker and did not take much of her energy in doing so. A sort of armour for protection would also do good for the magic user, considering that the only defensive magic she had was spellbane, which could only protect her from magic. For sharp weapons and physical attacks, she was completely vulnerable.

She looked around the town of Astorea, some of the shops were still being rebuilt. Aurora was still new but even she heard the news. About how the monster, most likely just a world boss for the players, destroyed the country and now the NPCs and players were working to restore it. How many lost lives in the battle. How the country was transitioning from monarchy to democratic. With each news, the emerald eyed girl felt the realism of the world she currently resided in. She wasn't much of a gamer, in fact, this was her first game. But even she could tell no other game could beat Terrasphere in the factor of realism.

The orange haired girl had just finished a quest and now held enough money to buy herself some basic weapons. Only problem was that she did not know much about magic, still a fairly new player. She would have asked help from people she had befriended in the game but unfortunately, everyone she had met were not complete magic users like her. She let out a sigh realising that she was all alone on her journey to find new gears.

Aurora wasn't exactly paying attention to her surroundings and accidentally bumped into someone. She looked up to see a white haired male with ruby eyes. "Oh, I am so sorry mister. I'm afraid I was in deep thought and did not notice my surrounding"she apologised to the male.

    @Camus Varic

  2. The silver haired male would stretch his arms above his head. His body was somewhat sore, but that was half of the thrill of all of it. "What a journey" his tone seemed almost excited as he let out a small yawn. This was the first time that such a thing had truly left his lips. Terra was such a fast paced game and he could just live here. "It would beat the life I have to go back to when I unplug" again he spoke out-loud. Not that it mattered, he was just heading into the lovely town of Astorea. It seemed like this was one of the places he kept finding himself in.

He would never forget the first time he had found himself here. "Bastard" that word was muttered under his breath as he thought of the mightier than thou person he had met here. He should be happy, but it didn't mean he was. His mind wasn't in the terms of black and white-- it made life boring if it was such a dull state of mind. No he had the whole package complete with a fantastic personality and a little demon that rode around shotgun in his mind. So maybe everyone didn't know about his little inner demon, but it was something that he had to deal with outside of the game and it came here because it was his state of mind-- hell the little demon might as well be who was actually known as Camus.

His crimson eyes flickered along the town or the remains of it. It wasn't like when he had come prior to this time, no it was like there was a war. "I missed it! Now that is just rude that they didn't wait for me" it was almost as if he was a young child throwing a tantrum at those words. Though he continued to walk. The chaos would have been fun to be a part of, but there was always next time. One thing he had learned about this game was that another adventure was right around the corner. So it was really only a matter of time before he actually got what he wanted.

Why was he? Right, because he had just happened to be in the area. No it was more so that he actually needed things that he couldn't get on his own. He had money, though he wasn't against stealing what he needed either. It was rather risky to be here again, no it wasn't at all. The golden ring that he had stolen from this city the first time he had come seemed to glisten upon his finger. It was just an average golden ring, no one could dare to pinpoint him to the thief-- not that an NPC shopkeeper would even remember him or not.

That was when he felt it, it was such a soft impact. Part of him wanted to snap at her, but his crimson eyes fell on the girl who had bumped on him and he had an idea. He offered her a smile, one of the most charming ones out there and he put his hand upon her shoulder lightly. "No no, no need to apologize to me" he was actually chuckling. "It happens. Zoning out , I see. I do it all the time" it wasn't exactly a lie. Though this mask of his was his way of trying to see what the girl was about. Would she be useful or not? He let off a positive and friendly vibe, despite his deeper darker intentions. He had learned a lot since he had come into this game. "Might I ask what held your fancy? Don't tell me it had something to do with rainbows and unicorns." Now this comment could have been taken badly if his tone had been different-- the chuckle and smile seemed as if he was just trying to joke about with the young girl.

His reason for being here could always be taken care of with this young girl in tow. He wondered what her story was, his crimson eyes were looking over her with a curiosity. He was analyzing her, wondering to himself if she was useful or not. No pointy ears (that he could see) so that meant she was a human, nothing wrong with that. Wonder how easy the girl would be to win over. Wonder if she was the type who believed in the fantasy world and the happily ever afters? She might be the type of girl who would fawn all over him and be his faithful sidekick (cue the Beauty and the Beast reference). No, he didn't want to be Gaston-- if he had to be someone who had a sidekick--- why not be Captain Hook. Well he would see what he found out from the girl. If she wasn't useful, he would just let her drift like dust in the wind.

  3. Aurora was relieved that the male she bumped into was understanding and sweet. The time she spent in the country of Astorea, she noticed everyone seemed on edge and would start fighting any moment they got. Just recently she found herself trying to stop two men from fighting because one of them spilt juice on the other.

"Thank you so much for understanding"
She returned the smile, happy at how friendly he the Yladian male was. She was the typical gullible girl who could be lured in with sweet words and a smile, like the infamous doormat girl. Only thing that separated her from girls of that type was her stubborn nature when it came to her ideals, one of them being not to kill someone and that everyone has some good qualities. Heck, she even got into a fight with the silver haired male who went by the name of Galadion even after she was just a new player. Luckily, even though Camus and Galadion were Yladians and both had silver hair, they were completely 180 degree from one another, at least that is what Aurora thought. She had completely lowered her guard as she talked to @Camus Varic

She laughed at the man's comment and shook her head. "That was not that ran through my head but now that you brought it up, I wonder if unicorn exists here" She placed a finger under her chin in thought. "I was jesting" She said in a few seconds with a chuckle before telling him her real intentions for coming to the player kingdom.

"Well you see. I am still a new adventurer and had just finished a mission. I am a magic user and during the task, I realised just how long it takes me to cast spells and my bad accuracy so I was out and about searching for some weapons I can use" She answered as she looked at her surroundings. "Unfortunately, I'm not that good with bargaining and finding the right weapons so I'm in a bit of a pickle hehe" She laughed nervously as she rubbed the back of her head.

  4. See there was nothing wrong with this girl at all. She seemed happy that his fake smile had found her. What was even better was she went on the about the unicorns that he thought that girls should go on and think about. There was something about her, honest in what she wasn't thinking of-- yet she went along with it. She was even honest in what she had come looking for, even going as far as going to the very detail. This was going to be an interesting time together. She seemed like the type that could be won over by the fake persona and wooed by a few kind words.

When he had first entered the game, it might have been a little harder for him to go along with this facade that he had gone about creating. Why? It was easy, it was because of the fact that he had time to improve within his time in the game. If there was a way to stay in the game forever, he would love to find the way. His outside life wasn't ideal and he hated to unplug and go back to it. Some days he didn't, it isn't like anyone came knocking down his door (well not all the time.)

Another magic user, he was of course reminded of Galadion. Though this was already going so much better then when he had first met the Yladian male. This one was so much more talkative. He liked her and would make her his sidekick. He had decided upon it easily enough. If he helped her get the things she needed, she would owe him. He chuckled slightly "well I'm sure if there are unicorns here, I would be able to find them. The beasties of this world is sort of my thing." Now how much should he go about his dramatics here. Should he treat her like some fair maiden in a story.

She was a girl after all, and girls responded better to being wooed than anything. He gave a swift bow , crimson eyes going to look up at her. "Well m'lady perhaps I could be of service to you." Things were different now, he had made sure to focus on unlocking his own magical ability. Though he wouldn't openly state this to the girl. To be a new player and to already have four masteries unlocked was something. Yes he was still a new player, he just poured his heart and soul into this game. Working where he did over in the outside world actually helped him keep this facade . To think that something like that, something that he hated so much, would actually be able to be useful here.

He went back to his full height and smiled. "Talking and pitching a bargain really isn't that hard at all. You just have to find the right words. Tell ya what since I'm going over that way anyways , I could just help ya along. Tell me what might you be using now in terms of weapons?" Should he tell his new sidekick his name. Yes that was needed if he wanted her to be serving under him after all. "Name's Camus by the way. Camus Varic. Pleasure to meet ya.." he left his words hanging in the world as his hand would softly take hers and he would lightly brush his lips against the top of his hand. Now he would good at reading people, he just couldn't pull a name out of thin air.

After leaving a soft kiss upon her hand, he would let her hand drop. He continued with the gentleman act. "Oh I'm sorry , I hope that didn't bother you. I got ahead of myself." He had never done such a stunt before, but to get better one had to try other things. The first two females he had encountered in the game... well he couldn't truly do a 360 on them. Or perhaps he could. What if he was to see them again, it was bound to happen after all, what if he was all kind and gentlemanly. No impossible around the pinkette. The other could work, he might be able to make her flustered.

His crimson eyes looked around the town, examining purely what they had to work with here. It was true that he should probably go and get more things to work with for all his masteries. He could only do so much with being out in the wild and that had been the only reason he had come here in the first place. Astorea was the player's kingdom, it had nice rings (at least it had last time he had come here). He was exactly excited to have have a potential sidekick. So far she wasn't that bad to be around at all.

  5. She laughed nervously and shook her head. "I wasn't really thinking about unicorns.. I honestly don't understand the fantasy towards the them.. I think all animals are wonderful, especially felines." she wanted to clarify. It was true. The girl had no particular interest towards the mythical creatures neither did she have an interest of living like a princess. Those were the type of fantasies that girls kept dreaming of from the time they were small kids, and most teenagers would carry those feelings till their adult life.

Aurora however, never had those thoughts, or perhaps she did, but they all got lost on the way and got replaced with new ones. But it didn't mean her dreams were realistic. They were as unachievable as the hopes of finding unicorns. Having said that, it did not mean she wouldn't get flustered with the male's charming words and actions.

"N-no need to call me milady and its fine..My name is Aurora Labyrinth. You may call me Aurora" She said, her pale cheeks dusting with a rosy pink shade when the male kissed her hand, even if it was through her glove. "Ah, My masteries consist of Spellbane, soul magic and Arcanamancy. At the moment I only have this spell ring" She looked down at the ring she wore.

It was a golden band that had ruins decorating it. A gift she was given by a Yladian she had saved. A peaceful smile graced her lips as she remembered the kind and strong male. "It was a gift handed to me by someone and it helps me out a lot but I'm afraid if I use it too much, it will end up breaking, something I wouldn't want to see happening" It was obvious by her expression and words that she was emotionally attached to the accessory she wore on her middle finger.

"My only offensive magic is Arcanamancy but it isn't exactly target specific. Last time I used it, I ended up harming my ally who was in close proximity to my opponent. I would like to avoid that as much as I can, so I am searching for that sort of weapon" She let out a soft gasp as she realised maybe she was in fact being a burden to him.

"Mr @Camus Varic , are you really fine with accompanying me? I would feel terrible if I was troubling you or stopping you from reaching somewhere" She said, looking at him with a worried expression.

  6. She was nervous, anyone could easily tell that by the way she laughed. The way she ended up stumbling over her words, and even the slight babbling. Though her first words had drawn him in. She didn't fit into his idea of how girls should be, but he was finding out that no girl really did. She was actually nice about it, even trying to joke prior about the unicorn. Though he was sure if those things did exist within this world that he would be able to find them. It was a fantasy world, it wouldn't be abnormal for such things to actually appear within it. Though what had caught his interest was the fact that she thought all animals were wonderful. She seemed to love felines the most out of them all. Now that was the way to win her over. He would be thinking of ways to get to a person. Then again it seemed like his words and his actions was already helping his case.

So her name was Aurora. Was she sure she wasn't some princess? Princesses typically held the name of Aurora. Why would he know about this? Well his player had a reason to know about things like princesses and magic, it came in the form of a little sister. He listened as she spoke of her masteries. When she mentioned the ring, his crimson eyes would go to glance over it. He of course took her hand again without warning to look at the golden band. "I can tell that it is important to you." Could he give her a nickname from her name? Well there was always just princess, that could work. Girls loved to be called princess, right? It was just another person to him. The girl might be able to be useful in the long run. Spellbane would be something useful to have.

He finally let her hand go after he had study the ring enough. So she had ended up harming her ally instead of doing much to help them. So the magic was fickle and out of tune. So that was why she was here, it wouldn't be hard enough to find something that would help to channel her magic. "Of course, it is no trouble at all. I don't mind helping you, after all you can find the thing you need to channel your Arcanamancy better." Of course he didn't know much about the magic at all, he hadn't actually faced that. Though any magic could be hard to control without protect technique. The girl might come in handy with her skills, if he helped her-- she would have to owe him then.

He smiled his charming smile at her. "It is really not a problem at all. Actually it might be on my way, so it wouldn't trouble me one bit." He had to wonder to himself what would be the best type of magical item she would need to channel the magic. The ring she had was useful. but if she used it too much it would break. So it would be best to not use the thing too much. She needed a higher grade ring if she was going to use the ring. A wand could work for her too of course. She needed a direct item that could channel the magic. That left rings, rods and staffs. A focus would actually work for her.

"You need a focus more than likely" he stated. He chewed upon his lip slightly as he thought about what might work for her. "Have you ever wielded a dagger? I mean it might work for you to focus if you had the dagger as a guide. Come on, princess. I'll be your guide and together we will find something that will work the best for you." He made a gesture with his hands to make sure she would start towards the nearest shops. "Ladies first, of course.."

He might have read a little upon the different types of masteries. He had made sure that he had read up on them and memorized them , it came in handy for things like this. It was good he had the type of memory that he did. That was going to be the only way he was going to be able to get to his goal in life later on. Patiences and lots of knowledge. Aurora would actually in handy. This meant continuing to woo her in the way he was doing. He was useful to him, but he couldn't seem like anything but the helpful and charming knight to her. If she found out what was behind his smile, she probably wouldn't want to even be around him. First thing first, he needed to help her with the taste at hand and then come up with the next step during that time.

  7. A sweet and gentle smile graced her face and she nodded. "Indeed. That person made me realise that I want to change myself" the smile was quickly replaced with a frown as she thought about the events that took place after she met him. The male tried attacking and killing her teammates. Instead of helping her team members, she decided to protect the male ,all because she saw him crying and could relate to him to an extent.

"You see. I'm a very impulsive girl who trusts too easily and melts down after seeing a few tears. Because of which, I put others in danger, something that I dislike...not only do I want to get stronger physically but emotionally as well"
She was very open with what she wanted to do. If it was the real world she would have never discussed such an issue with anyone, but it wasn't. The world was Terrasphere.

Her words were enough for anyone to know how gullible she was. Aurora was so open about her weakness ,it felt like she was begging for people to use her.

The girl shook her head and chuckled lightly. "You need not call me princess. Aurora works splendid. If you do want to give me a nickname, you can just call me Aru...But that aside. I must say-"
The girl clapped her hands in amazement as the man suggested her a weapon. "You are a really smart person, aren't you Mr Camus? You seem to have a vast knowledge of magic. Do you have arcanamancy too or you just happen to know about it?" She inquired, her eyes sparkling as she took a step closer to the male. She was certainly impressed by the Yladian's kind mannerisms and intelligence.

"But as for working with daggers, I'm afraid I have yet to use it. Do you have any idea how I would be able to channel my magic into a dagger?"she inquired as she began walking to the nearest shop.

On entering the merchant's shop, she noticed it was empty. That was strange. It was still the middle of the day but the merchant was no where to be found. She turned to look at @Camus Varic . "It seems the owner is not there..maybe we should check another place"

    "AHHHHHHH!!!"

The girl immediately snapped to the direction of the scream that had come from further inside the shop. She turned to look at the silver haired male, wondering what he planned on doing. Whatever it was ,she was going to help the people of the shop out, even if she had no idea who they were. She hurried off into the shop to see what had happened that caused the cry of distress

  8. It was rare when someone just openly told him everything about them. In fact, it made his work so much easier. Instead of trying to figure out how the best way to get them would be, instead of having to analyze them for a certain amount of time-- here he had Aurora telling him all that he needed to know on how to get to her. She trusted too easily and melted down at the sight of only a few tears. Tears, now that wasn't something that any self respecting male would so openly partake in-- but if that allowed him to get her on his side... he would have to remember that.

She put others in danger but she wanted to get stronger. He could work with that a lot. 'You would know all about tears wouldn't you. Tell her the sob story of your life outside of the game and she would be fawning over you. I'm sure she would love to have a little slave boy that is trying to play someone oh so mighty. Tears, you can so easily do. Just think of how bad your life is. Oh I know! Think of your sister and how she got taken away from you.' He wanted to murder the little demon within his mind, but doing so would mean committing suicide and he wasn't that desperate at all. Though if he was to tell anyone the sob story of his life, he could get anyone to feel sorry for him. Though he didn't want people to feel sorry or pity him. His best bet would be to woo her.

She was a gullible girl and that meant that his mask would work wonders for him. She even stated that if he would give her a nickname what it would be-- not everyone allowed him to just call them nicknames. Every so often he would be nice and well he would be a team player-- but there were other players along the way that he just loved trying to piss off. He had a whole group of them, it just made things more interesting. Though they didn't matter now, what mattered was getting Aurora to sign on as his sidekick. Was he greedy? No not at all, everyone needed loyal subjects. She would be handy to have on his side rather than to have against him. She even was stroking his ego by saying how smart he was. He worked with what he had.

"Oh no , not at all. I just happen to know a good deal about things. It is easier to learn and take from things as you go. As for working with the daggers, I can teach you on how to do that." How hard would it be to actually teach someone. Teaching was the gateway of getting people to adore and be loyal to someone. 'This girl is going to only inflate your ego more. Actually that is a good look. A swollen head all to get some girl to be loyal. Funny , and you didn't even have to resort to the sob story... yet. ' He pushed the inner demon away and had followed her towards the merchant's shop. It was empty, it was strange to say the least. He could feel something though, not good to move and check another place.

His lips had parted to speak when there was a scream. It had come from further inside the shop, his hand had gone to grip upon the hilt of his long sword. First and foremost he used his sword, it was what he had started this game with. 'Are you going to be the hero? The knight in shining armour to save the princess from whatever harm might befall her.' He wanted to snap out loud at the inner demon, he wanted to push it away and lock away the key-- but instead his crimson eyes had gone to take in Aurora. Stay here, I'm going to go and check it out. Well that would have been what he would have said had she not hurried off into the shop to check out the chaos.

The inner demon gave a whistle of amusement. 'Better go and chase after her, King. You wouldn't want one of the subjects to get hurt or worse killed. Actually now that I think about it, she would join so many great ones who had fallen. Where should I start there was--' he forced the inner demon away once more and started off towards the cry of distress. Stupid girl charging into the heart of what might be a battle. There was one scream, meaning that it was most likely the shop keeper who had made the noise. Maybe they were being robbed, held hostage or maybe they were looking for someone else that wasn't here and the other was demanding the knowledge.

His ears twitched slightly as he thought of what was causing the scream. One person was probably holding up the knowledge. 'Letting people scream is so noisy. It alerts people to where the victim is. They should have muffled them if they were going to make them scream.' For once he did agree with the little demon. If they were going to play with their prey, they should have muffled them somehow. That scream was not muffled and it made people come looking. He would have come even if Aurora hadn't gone looking first, screaming in this world meant chaos and chaos meant fun for him. He would have loved to be in the middle of what was going on. With Aurora there, he couldn't give in and he had to play the hero. Oh the price one had to pay to get the big prize. "Aurora, you shouldn't go off on your own. Who knows what might be here."
