  1. Lithe fingers lightly skimmed over blue, mesmerizing waters. She allowed herself to relax for a moment. One, small moment. The world slowly succumbed to the rare blankness of Comet's cleared mind and turned into an inky black of carelessness. Every so often her relentlessness soul would lay ease on the brain and heart - in agony and full of anxiety - but only for so long. Then, like a cycle on repeat, an alarm akin to the one she sets for school awakes the Earth and her soul tears deeper. Closer and closer to her heart while consuming the brain to regain control. Carelessness that she once held as a child evaporated, as if it never existed. Comet's fluttering eyelids would peel open. Those blue eyes lackluster from years of being worn out. The world would spin faster than ever and there she would be, in a perfect posture with perfect looks and a perfect smile sitting on her face. If one were to venture close, daring to enter the depth of Comet, they would find that the smile held little to no warmth. It too, was worn, much like the beginning of bags under her eyes or the pierced heart.

Water melted from the icebergs of her hands, and began to shake. She pushed away from the sea. No one - especially her - would ever be worthy of ruining its natural beauty. The calm tide, occasional storm, and the way it would become one with the sun after dusk passed. Dunnstads interested Comet because she desired an intense knowledge of the world she escaped to each and every dull morning of the real world. Locks of damp hair molded themselves into the shape of her face, rolling down her back in a wild formation. A large contrast when compared to her serious expression and even more serious demeanor. Her eyes examined the surroundings, forming an elaborate map inside her head that would be stored for later. Fields of gold rolled into hills across the landscape. Cozy-looking farms and farmhouses were settled into these hills comfortably, as if they'd been created alongside nature itself. Boots drew up dust and dirt from the raw ground traversed. Along the way, Comet collided with a figure. Her heels were dug into the ground, a hand flying up to catch the other's shoulder and apologize. Quick thinking prevented Comet from gripping the stranger so that instead of anger emitting from her there would instead be a friendly aura in replacement. However, a small figure sat on the ground now before her as Comet had been too hesitant with her actions.

"You okay? I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, it's all my fault," her pretty face twisted into a form of self-disgust. "Let me help you up. Least I can do," she chuckled, a cardboard sound, before offering a hand of assistance.

  2. While not a fan of long hikes and hard work, the small feline of a girl happened to be enjoying the quiet desperation she felt from the earth around her. With so much whet it stretched for miles in her eyes, her small stature made it easy to sneak through the plains and startle farmers and animals alike- though, for some reason, the kids she'd found playing in the fields rather enjoyed her jump-scares. In fact, she'd suddenly found herself being chased by a few rambunctious brats.

Didn't they know she was an adult!?

Having finally made her way to the open road once more, the felis was tired and panting, trying to catch her breath. With rapid bouts of air escaping her, she struggling to cry out when she was apparently knocked into by a large figure- which, since she hadn't been looking, she'd already decided was a horse. Glaring upward, the kit went from irritated to playful, even though she was in pain from falling down.

"For a horse, you're quite a fine one. Perhaps even a legendary rarity?" Accepting the aid, her lips curled into a coy grin, her body shivering slightly as she tried to readjust to standing on her legs. She had been cut by a sharp pebble, wincing from the pain at her ankle. "I have a feeling I can blame the brats for this..."

Shaking it off, she looked at her assaulter- and yes, she was going to call the woman that for at least a short time. "You know, there are better ways to greet someone than to trip on them. Normal people trip on words to greet, not people. Were you really that intrigued by something? I can't help wanting to know what would have a pretty girl like you so entranced you didn't notice a cat with a long stick."

As she spoke, she side-eyed her polearm- a trash-tier weapon she'd gotten from an NPC man that felt bad for her. It was little more than a stick that towered over her in length, but it was something to keep dreaded creatures at a distance. If only it'd worked on those kids...

"Now, you said you weren't paying attention to your surroundings. What had your attention, hrm~?"

  3. Grasping the stranger's hand, Comet returned to her full height before allowing her cold, thin fingers drift away. The sudden warmth succumbed; once more her hands were icy and unwelcoming and unstable. "I'm already good with words, this is just a new method." her lips were pulled into a grin of sincerity. The comment amused her and gave a small space for her insecurity - of giving a respectable first impression - to rest. "Dunnstads is gorgeous. Sea raiders and all," Comet lifted her head, eyes settled on the horizon in the distance painted with blues and greens. "You are too, I suppose, any Felis on here usually is," she crouched down to pat the cat-girl on the head. The thought of her first run-in with a Felis gave them an expected attractive aura, in Comet's mind. Her cheeks tinted with a pink hue, hardly noticeable. Comet envisioned the tall, grotesque monster her mirror held in its reflection, and immediately despised herself for feeling anything towards such a comment. People lie, she reminded herself silently, you're no better than a few minutes ago.

In all honesty a miniature cat-girl with a stick seemed comical to the pink-haired woman who refrained from letting out a mocking laughter. Such a mature tone lacing the other's words allowed Comet to waltz around this temptation. Behind her dull eyes, a dim light of surprise and curiosity hid itself. "I like to map out areas while I explore," she shrugged, thumbs hooking themselves along the hem of her pants, once again up on her feet. "I'm Comet. Can I have your name, cute cat girl? It's not like I can call you midget for long before it gets old," she paused, brushing locks of hair behind her ears, before continuing, "Were you running from something?" the pink-haired woman questioned while mentally recalling how the collision happened so suddenly. Two players walking certainly wouldn't collide so easily or so painfully. Clearly, the cat-girl had been running from a situation that called for it. Only a moment or two after the question filled the air shouts overcame the suspicions of Comet who twisted her stick-thin body around to face the strange sound. From a nearby farm, close enough to get a good view of, the shouts amplified in volume as if begging for either attention or aid of sorts.

With a thin brow quirked, Comet would turn to face the other woman once more; a twisted and unreadable expression making up her face. "Should we... go?" uncertainty plagued her voice but held no trace of worry or panic. She wanted to know what was going on but decided the acceptance of another for her idea would be best.

  4. Having remained mostly inland when she entered the coastal area, likely due to a cat's natural aversion to water, Briar gave a long dull look to the woman as she mentioned sea raiders and the sort. Were there really that many pirates? And for that matter, had she really gotten that far out of the inland areas, where farms and cities still lightly dotted the otherwise hard-to-inhabit region?

"I am what? Felines are a dime in a dozen compared to a diamond of a lady." Her words were woven with a mixture of cotton candy and silk, but surprisingly, she wasn't completely lying. She just chose to play a cat because they were easily made small without being a fairy (which, to the real Briar, would just be downright embarrassing and stupid). They lived fairly normal lives, and weren't exactly rarities by any means. They were merely beastmen of their own kind- men and women with fur and ears as if they'd inbred with their pets in the past.

Being given a name and asked for one in kind, the smaller girl merely purred lightly as she debated taunting Comet by hiding her name behind smoke and mirrors. "I suppose I could be so kind as to share my own, since you've so willingly given me your name... Alas, what good would it do?" She toyed a bit longer with the decision, sighing lightly and shaking her head. The headache of being called 'midget' or 'cute cat girl' wasn't really worth the fun of teasing someone with hidden information. Glancing up readily, she returned to her coy grin, impish yet intrigued.

"I'm Lady Briar- and as you can see, I'm a cat. A cat with only a long stick to defend myself from beasts and brats. There's a village not far from here- a small farming village, where there's some wheat like in Pormont, but it just looks big 'cause of my size. A bunch'a kids decided it'd be fun to play chase the kitty-cat when they saw me. I've just been trying to keep my distance from them since. I can only deal with the runts so long..."

With a soft shiver, she returned to her more quiet self. Comet, as she knew the woman now, mentioned something about cartography. It was when she was about to question the point of the hobby, as well as if it was even possible to do such a thing with the masteries given, that the shouts came. Were those kids really following her all the way towards the sea?

Her ears twitched from two different sounds. The sounds of the kids screaming for her in the distance, which she was no longer a fan of in the slightest- and the sound of a question of escape, as if Comet somehow had decided they were already a team. Should we? She's already decided on coming along? Clearly, Comet was one of those she was never sure how to deal with, or at least how to describe. Either she liked helping cats in distress, or she liked the chaos of the chase.

Uncertain which it was or if it mattered, Briar merely nodded. "Show me the way, Cartographer Comet. I'll trust your map to lead us somewhere the kids will leave us be."

  5. With furrowed brows, Comet assessed the situation without paying much attention to Briar. Her attention lay elsewhere. Those shouts, well, she happened to worry about. Only because Dunnstads won a special place in her heart - over Stokbon's size and Astorea's wildlife - did her long legs decide to put themselves to work before her mind could properly decide what exactly to do. Briar's response to such a hastily asked question provided all the acceptance Comet required to feel as if she were moving towards something important. Except, most likely to the disliking of the cat-girl, she followed the voices of children rather than attempt to escape the devilish heathens. A split-second gut reaction had dirt flying up to create clouds of dust around the boot-clad woman with a goal set in her mind. Persistence boiled in the heat of anxiety from within. Before she'd sped off a simple gesture reading a demanding "follow" had been given. Despite having asked for a sort of permission to explore her curiosities Comet still desired a leading role in whatever may come. Even if said role lasted the few moments it took to reach the farm emitting wails and moans.

"Oof," she hit the ground hard enough, feeling as though she'd had her very brain knocked out, due to being roughly shoved. Once given the chance to figure out what was going on the mysterious figure had fled. Others ran after the stranger, clasping weapons and large bags, making a ruckus to be heard all over the inland and out to the sea itself. Lifting her head, hair groomed back into position, Comet made eye contact with one of few children currently tied up within the proximity of where she presumed to be a family farm. Muffled cries for help shocked the pink-haired woman who climbed to her feet without asking or needing much aid aside from the fence beside her. She glanced in Briar's direction with raised brows and a prominent frown, chest moving in sync with her deep breaths. "I want to find out who did this," she mumbled before taking a look behind her shoulder. Often she would allow the influence of others or the more controlling or insecurity drag her down. Stating an opinion and actually being heard were two very different things; Comet's low expectations of herself resulted in the former occurring more times than the latter. During very few situations did determination surge through her veins in replacement of greed or self-doubt or a carelessness for others who provided no benefit other than existing as a potential object to use. A stiff body made way to assist the trapped children from their misery. Funny how they were messing with Briar for the hell of it once and suffering from an unfortunate fate the next, she thought. "We can help your attackers out of this mess and then track down the criminals, yeah?" a question directed towards Briar leaning more towards a suggestion that could easily be turned into a demand. A friendly demand, at least, since Comet truly did enjoy the cat-girl's company so far. "I'll bet they're sea raiders..."

  6. Comet was a bit instinctive, Briar would soon tell herself as she took mental notes about the situation for future use. Knowing the ins and outs of people, such as little tics and habits, would help her make use of understand them better later. Still, she'd follow the beckoning for now, wanting to figure out at least half of whatever was going on.

The wails were hurting her sensitive feline ears, after all!

When they saw the tied up kids, Comet had asked about finding the perpetrator. And, even if for a less-than-honorable reason, Briar raised a fist in the air, fully on board. "Getting revenge on these brats is my job! I can't let some ass steal my thunder!" Sure, she'd just ran away from them- but eventually, she was sure she would get back at them with a pointy stick for being pests.

Taunting children and making mayhem? That was the chaotic cat's job. Not some jerk that wanted to toy around with rope.

Peering around, she realized there wasn't much she could do in the situation- but at least she could untie the kids with her albeit trashy weapon, cutting the ropes with it's point and calming them with mild illusions to keep them from freaking out further. Purring as they quieted down, she tried to get them to tell her a bit about their target.

With limited information due to their fear, she sighed and glanced to her carrot-topped comrade once more. "So, sea-raiders you think? If you were a raider, then, which way would you go? We were just near the sea, you know..."

  7. Briar's reasoning for motivation had Comet smiling once more. The Felis' words or actions or both seemed to almost always be amusing in one way or another. Or perhaps her shortness added comedic effect to these things. Whatever way Briar managed to influence Comet to flash those pearly whites in a sincere smile, the thoughts towards this topic had been shrugged off of thin shoulders as worn boots kicked up clouds of dirt while sprinting in the direction of the clear waters she'd only recently had the luxury to enjoy alone. "Hmm.. sea raiders? Probably towards the sea but that's just a hunch, y'know," a sarcastic reply for her companion before rushing off on an unknown adventure. The children shouted their thanks to the females as they headed farther from the more cozy, welcoming inland area of Dunnstads out to the mysterious coast of awaiting dangers. Observant eyes and outstanding memory immediately caught sight of a ship, docked nearby, that hadn't been there a few hours or so before. Poking Briar, crouching down to the Felis' height, Comet muttered, "Wanna investigate?" her head turned to a fishing village in the distance. Another candidate for checking out but not as likely as the suspiciously new ship possibly full of the strangers that'd attacked innocent children. "I wonder why they would hurt children, though? And go so far inland too. Seems petty." she commented with a tilt of the head upon plucking out questions from her head that hadn't been pondered yet. Not that the two had much time before to really analyze or gain information, anyhow.

Standing back to full height Comet made way a short few steps towards an item left on the ground. It appeared to be one of the bags carried by the attackers, emptied; however with a few shakes a shiny key plopped onto the sand below. Plucking up the golden object she waved it around in the air with a smirk plastered onto her face. "Could be important, right?"

OOC: a freeform quest if you don't mind, sort of planned here and there, but dm me if you're ever uncomfortable or confused :)

  8. The sarcasm sat well with Briar, who grinned slightly at her retort. The girl- or woman, as Briar would remind herself- had a good sense to her. She wasn't afraid to make a jab, even if Briar had meant to be a bit sarcastic herself. Her amusement showed in her wide eyes before she gripped tightly onto her pointy stick once more.

"I'm not doing it for you brats," She spoke harshly, but the way she stuck her tongue out seemed to make the otherwise awkward kids laugh instead of cry. She huffed slightly at the sight, dismayed they were so pleased when she was showing ire. These bloody kids, not taking me seriously. Though she griped, she'd still do as she promised. It was time to make the pirates pay for stealing her thunder, after all!

Following the cartographer with a wary smile, the shiny key that was soon found waved in the air, making her feline instincts want to pounce. "Ah, uh, yeah- it's very important looking." She put her fingers to her temples, pondering what it could be for. "If the raiders lost it, it's probably a treasure chest. That, or their boat has a parking feature... But I doubt that one, with how old these things are. The question is...How do we find it, hrm~?"

((OOC: That's totally fine, unofficial quests make great flavor~))

  9. "A treasure chest..." The idea hadn't come to her for she'd been utterly distracted by the mysterious ways of the strange men. Suddenly, everything could be seen in a new light. Comet smirked and glanced at the ship with a newfound interesting that lit up the dull color of her eyes. "That sounds like my kind of fun~" she winked in Briar's direction before relaying a plan she'd quickly formed into the ear of her companion. "Let's get our way onto that ship, yeah? We're two perfectly attractive women I think something can be arranged," with a smirk and flip of the hair Comet turned her body in the direction of their goal. Inside, somewhere, a chest full of gold called her name. And who was she to resist? Greediness shoved from within to get Comet's legs working towards the inhabited, docked, most likely dangerous vessel full of cultist-looking men. Its desperateness would never show on her face or reveal itself in her tone but happened to be ever-present and extremely persistent. "We can pretend to be hurt or something? And when the men come we use that to-"

Not much time had been given for the pink-haired woman to explain her plan before the distant sight of approaching figures - albeit difficult to make out thus they could be almost anyone - caught her attention. Lips were immediately pursed mid-sentence while Comet practically threw Briar into nearby shrubbery the two could manage to awkwardly hide behind in close-quarters. Though the uncomfortableness of it all hardly bothered Comet two had her sight set and wouldn't back down from her latest desire of gold mixed with finding out who the hell these assumed sea thought they were, messing with the people of Duunstads she adored. "Change of plans!" she muttered underneath her breath as if speaking to herself rather than Briar. "Which is more up your alley: Persuasion, trickery, or using those feisty claws of yours?" Blue eyes settled on the approaching men who, for sure, weren't wary enough to notice their looming bodies, but also remained quite a bit away distance-wise for the two young women to pull a hasty plan together; betting on luck would soon be all that mattered.

  10. It surely entertained the felis when the female giantess (as she'd decided the woman, Comet, was for the moment) called her 'attractive' as a woman. She purposely chose a childish image, if not impish and focused more on the cat side of her species. What in hell did this stranger find 'attractive' exactly?

Not keen on asking, Briar decided it best to let bygones be bygones and follow that old American thing. What was it? 'Don't ask, don't tell?' Besides, they had bigger problems arising not long after. It went from using their feminine wiles to using their combative skills in a heartbeat, and suddenly, she was being asked which method would work best for her.

"Why not use all three? It's quite easy to persuade people to do things your way if you're scaring the daylights out of them with tricks to torture their souls as you carve their skin with a pointy stick, you know~" She grinned idly up at the woman. Irked a bit, in a way, that Comet had made sure to note they were 'two perfectly attractive women'- because it made Briar notice Comet was, indeed, quite attractive.

Good thing she was a girl right now! Being turned on during a situation like this would've been pretty awkward if it was noticeable, wouldn't it? "Let's take this purrrfect chance and play with them plenty... Shall I take an early start?" She turned her gaze upon the looming figures, figuring it a good time to start their side of the battle early. Assuming her 'strategy' was already accepted whether it was or not, the girl began to chant in a low, almost eerie tone.

    "Sesnel hineve knud, akil es!"

She sent the image of static on a television to their enemies' minds, watching as they started to try to look at each other and notice their blind spots had generally increased. "They won't see us coming~ or not as well as they should~" With a purr and a giggle, she bowed and held a hand to point at their prey. "Ladies first~ And you, by far, are the lovely of us two~"

  11. Surprised yet not surprised, Comet's eyes widened to convey the slight shock at the choice. But Briar was more on the wild side, she reminded herself, and it probably came natural to think of using all 3 options for someone so chaotic. A bit ashamed for not planning out the versatile approach that Briar had, the pink-haired woman stepped to the side as the Felis worked her magic. Another thing Comet hadn't predicted to come from her companion that went from first impressions of underwhelming feelings to newfound admiration. Even if magic wasn't a category she often found respectable or desirable. Briar seemed to hold an innate power that absorbed the attention of anyone around. Blue eyes found themselves staring intensely, and for far too long, not that this action had been intentional or acknowledged. "Go on and show me what you got. I don't mind," she waved the Felis away with the flick of wrist. A playful, lopsided grin plastered itself onto the pink-haired woman's face as she watched from afar.

Upon being beckoned forward Comet jumped at the opportunity without hesitation. Her anxious nature never did call for a patience during situations where anticipation coursed through her veins. Especially when this anticipation mixed with excitement. "Why, I sure do appreciate the compliment~" she chuckled deeply, expression twisted into and sashayed over before flicking pink locks over a shoulder. Hardly if ever would Comet dare explore the darker path due to having to maintain a kind, friendly, and trustworthy persona for others to be able to feel comfortable around. However, around Briar things were different; that, and they were all alone near the ocean where very few of Dunnstads' people or travelers would wonder. Perhaps deep within she would regret the decision to use aggressiveness but now the rarity of the opportunity urged her to act. It wasn't like she was the bad person here anways, right?

The question dismissed itself when Comet lifted a skinny leg to use a shocking amount of force to knock one of the two men down. "I don't know what you did but it definitely worked. Maybe you should teach me a few of your tricks sometime? Usually I flirt my way into things but..." she paused to take a deep breath before having her boot collide with the vulnerable man on the ground more than enough times to gave him quivering and shouting out of desperation, leaving the other for Briar. "this seems more fun. If it's what you wanted?"

  12. "Just a little illusion~" The kitten explained when her unusual tactics were noticed. "My first couple I've managed to develop affect the senses. Right now, their eyes see fairly badly. They've been corrupted by the fuzz of a television, in a way."

There was just something about the senses that intrigued the cat. She loved making people feel they were hallucinating or ill, despite her reality of 'healing' such issues offline. Perhaps it was because there was beauty in intoxication to the kitten that loved her liquor.

Liquor, women... What wasn't there to love in the world? For Lady Briar, it was the same no matter where she was.

One man had a foot on him to keep him down, the other soon had a lance in his face. "I do love to flirt, but these men don't seem worth our time. You can do far better than such scum. You should know better than to think you need to give these men such an honor."

Though, giving the illusion of having a chance with a hot woman? That was a pretty damn fun hallucination right there, all in all. These two seemed oddly pleased with their positions anyway, even as she moved to sit upon the one she'd knocked over with her pointy stick.

"The perverts here seem quite tame. Perhaps they're secretly masochists~? The one near you rather seems happy to have your foot so firmly on him. Not that I can blame him with such a lovely leg."

Grinning, she snapped her fingers, letting the men's sight return to normal for the time being. "Now then... Shall we have some real fun getting to the bottom of these two? What do you young men want, pray tell?"

  13. Surely, Briar wasn't far off with her comment towards the men beneath their feet. They were confused and in shock, hardly fighting back, and dressed in tattered attire. Their beards were scruffy and untamed, matted hair on their heads held down with bandannas; in comparison to Comet's well-kept cloth outfit and Briar's unique appearance all on its own, they were the true definition of scum. This realization - instead of brewing sympathy - helped her care much less about being "bad" for they weren't better, and deserved such treatment. Briar's egging on with compliments fueled the adrenaline rush received from being in power. It felt nice but it wasn't like the men were innocent to begin with. Especially since it seemed their hobbies included ganging up on helpless children to tie them up. "Was it for fun... for some sort of weird pleasure?" she questioned, expression twisted in disgust at the many thoughts swirling within her mind. Comet had zoned out for a moment or two and her victim had pulled his partner away from Briar as they feared what more magic wrath could be brought upon them. Trembling, unable to explain what'd happened to them, and without much defense other than two fists the men were easy victims. The one man who attempted to stand up was promptly stopped by his friend as if accepting defeat. Which made things quite easier in the end though Comet wouldn't have minded combat or further exploration of torture methods.

Number one, she decided to name the mystery man that'd fallen under her boot, shook his head frantically but decided not to speak. His friend stepped forward seemingly not as shy and ready to defend himself. Instead he delivered a message that proved their guilt as if full pride towards his actions. "We robbed the fools who live there. They had a massive stockpile of beautiful gold... and we also took whatever else we wanted from that useless place. Then the kids had to come and interrupt our business so we solved that problem. Why do you care? Why do all women think they have to solve every goddamn problem to prove themselves? It's annoying." he seemed calm and much more unafraid than when under the influence of malefimancy which had Comet's brows raised. "Why the sudden change in mood?" she asked Briar, not as quietly as thought, so the man spoke up on his own to provide a response for the pink-haired woman. "Because we have a whole group of us and you're outnumbered. They'll be back at any time. Good luck." he smirked before spitting in their direction, his companion finally allowing himself to stop shaking in his pathetic-turned-confident shoes.

  14. "Hmph. I was sure we caught ourselves something more interesting than pirates," Briar mumbled. Sure, people who stole and acted for their own needs were the types of people the chaotic cat could stand behind, but they were also a dime in the dozen- hell, they were basically just hedonists, in a way, weren't they? That just made them like her. If they were like her, they weren't actually all that interesting to play with.

As Comet was intrigued by their willingness to answer the question, she shrugged it off. "Maybe they're glad they aren't dealing with cataracts." She liked her answer even as she heard their response to the question. Though it was nice to have warning, she huffed. "We weren't talking to you, bloody knobs."

A slight sigh left her lips as she noticed her unintentional use of slang she grew up with. In a game that wasn't quite available outside the states yet, it would be a problem for her obvious British background to make her seem like an outsider. At the very least, she wanted to sound feminine enough not to be mistaken for her real self- namely a simple codger.

Ah, who cares? Even girls speak like this back home.

Shaking off the inner thoughts, the small feline put her hands to her hips, seeing as these two were definitely not going to bother attacking them further. "So there's more of them. Should we go get rid of the rest of the rats? My illusions should be able to handle more than just a couple of boring buggers like these two. Either way, it could be fun."

  15. The choice of Briar's wording was odd enough to bring a smirk to Comet's face as if the insults would disturb the two pirates. Being quite the beginner she wasn't sure about whether or not the two of them could take on a group of possibly more advanced and better equipped men. Her mind shuffled through possibilities as Briar brought up solutions for the issue at hand. "Maybe..." she muttered, bringing a hand to her chin to think more deeply. The key resting in her other hand dug deep into pale skin. Lifting it quickly with a nod of the head she turned to the Felis and tossed it towards the smaller woman. "Your games are fun, but with my way we can have fun and get some treasure. As long as you're okay with knocking some fools out and all that?" with a flip of the hair she stared down at the slightly submissive men who feared the illusions enough to stay down, and were also a bit bruised from her rough boot. "Strip them, do a little acting, and sneak onto the ship. It's cliche but it works... right?"

"I told you I lost the damn thing," the braver man spoke with a roll of the eyes, while his companion trembled and whimpered as if afraid of his own fate. "You ladies think you can-" he began again, loudly to make up for the pathetic nature of his friend, but had been silenced by a sharp kick to the mouth that Comet decided would be proper to deliver. Plus a few more for extra effect. An adrenaline rush surged through boiling blood to fuel such hate-filled retaliation. "Hey!" the smallest of the pirates attempted to claw at Briar to get the key from her hands. However, the pink-haired woman snagged an arrow and held the sharp weapon out to get him to back away before any actual action to take the valuable item back could be made. "You deal with him and I'll take the other's clothes. We can hide the bodies in bushes so their group doesn't suspect anything weird. The key should be enough validation to get us on the ship. From there... we can serve your kind of entertainment." she winked in Briar's direction before working the much baggier clothing - from an undeniably big man - onto her lithe frame
