  1. For just a moment, when she'd spawned into the TerraSphere world, Kyupin had been standing. On her own two feet. She had stared at her legs in a blank curiosity, admiring them, until her brain finally caught up with her.

She tried to take a step forward. Then promptly collapsed into the thick, decomposing leaves of the forest ground.

The tip of her longbow smacked roughly against the path, jolting her arm from fingertip to shoulder, but Kyupin couldn't find it in her to care much about that tingling pain. Sure, she gave it a quick glance to make sure nothing had broken her starter weapon, but it was hard to stay focused on that when her eyes kept drifting to openly stare at her knees.

In a daze, she carefully unfolded her legs, physically pulling and pushing them with her hands until they were spread out before her. She tentatively wiggled each of her toes.

"No way," she whispered, tears pooling in her eyes. She focused on moving her legs, bouncing them up and down as a hysterical laugh bubbled in her throat. "Holy shit," she whimpered, breathless despite the low-effort movements.

Surrounded by the thick underbrush of the forest, Kyupin lost track of time, ogling her legs and playing with them until each twitch came to her as naturally as breathing. Her cheeks ached, stretched thin by the massive grin on her face. Not even being forced to lean heavily against a tree trunk and pull herself up with branches could diminish the joy pounding in her chest.

It took a massive effort, but soon, once again, Kyupin was upright. Standing. All by herself.

Each movement was slow and steady, calculated to minimize the chance of falling again. She picked up her bow, and then, with a great effort fueled by her enthusiasm, Kyupin wobbled onwards, trekking through the forest.
