Following her commands, D'vangelline's riders put up their shields and couched their massive lances as they followed the formation closely. Anyone with half a mind would consider the Princess' plan to charge into the enemy's line a preposterous plan, perhaps even suicidal. However, D'vangelline's cavalry had practiced the maneuver at least hundreds of times. They may not be strong individually, but the unit as a whole was well trained and well deserving of their title as the Sun Riders.
After the Princess broke through the enemy's line, the spearhead formation allowed them to split the bulk of the enemy, giving @Alonso Thorlion and @Aria the chance to show off while the Princess skewered bandits with her lance. Despite causing some damage to the enemy's ranks, she quickly had to back off after the bandits reinforcement arrive.
From then on... it became an absolute shit show featuring Flying Alligators, a suicide hydro bomber, and a half-crystallized Broodmother. Somehow, they were able to live through all of it and quickly escaped from the bandit's territory.
Although some bandits gave chase, they were quickly dealt with as the bulk of the ruffians stopped in their track, watching their preys get away in shame.
D'vangelline de Falder
As the near-broken rescue encourage trudged along, you can see the Princess remaining motionless on her steed.
D'vangelline's' eyes seemed to have lost their glimmer, her once perfectly groomed blond hair was a mess, her armor was stained with bandit's blood, and to add insult to injury, there was a piece of gator stuck to the tip of her lance, refusing to be removed. She was the picture perfect image of someone who started questioning what she was doing with her life.

Scout
"You highness, we've arrived at the border, it should only take an hour or two before we arrive at the Aris Glass Forest. Seeing the state of our entourage, we're going to have to set up camp tonight and resume the travel tomorrow. It is not safe to travel in the Crystalized Zalra alone"
D'vangelline de Falder
Letting out a weary sigh, D'vangelline gave the order.
"Everyone, we're setting up a night camp when we reach the Aris Glass Forest, it seems we're going to need to rest and fix up the wagons before we pass through the Crystallized Zalra."
By the time the entourage reached the northeastern border and started to venture into the blighted land of crystals, the sun had already set.
To be continued...
