  1. It was early in the morning, darkness still plagued the campsite and no soul was already awake... except for Anabelle. Inside the red wagon, which her human friend tagged as their 'dedicated base', the Speedwagon, she was roused to sleep by an ecstatic @Yuichi Ichinose, enthusiastically blabbering about how in his throbbing veins adrenaline rushed as he ran through hills and swung from tree to tree, and further bragged of the picturesque panorama of Zalra his chocolate eyes have witnessed when he was atop a butte. Anabelle could not help but to groan while listening to all of it, rubbing her half-lidded eyes to bring her senses.

    "You're saying that so I can draw for you, right?" Anabelle frankly stated as she had no control over her thoughts or words whenever she was forced out of dreamland. She looked nothing more than a grumpy cat as she stretched and yawned.

    The answer was in the affirmative.

    For an hour or so, the cat lady painstakingly drew what the pretty boy continued to narrate, piecing together the scenery of every turn and corner of his little journey. Eventually, she noticed she was already making a map, which almost got her unnerved as it was her first time to do so. Mistakes were made one after another, but Yuichi seemed to be patient with her despite the fact she kept on erasing things and he had to keep on repeating himself. When her hands trembled in uncertainty, she was reminded to trust... the same trust she reposed on him when he firmly held her hand to drew blood from an enemy.

    That was, until the resounding voice of the princess and her officers pierced through the silence.

    It was made known to the woman that they would be working with a team, something Anabelle was not comfortable with, especially if there were men in it. She had not fully overcome her trauma caused by the sexual assault happened in Druuk Island, and now had no idea how she would deal with other people outside the comfort given by Yuichi without horribly shaking and having awful flashbacks. Still, if this was what was needed to go back home, if this was the price she had to pay as fare for the ride, then there was no other choice.

    Popping the balloon of exclusivity between her and Yuichi, Anabelle gazed around the Speedwagon to find her supposed 'team mates', all of them appeared to be excited about doing this rescue mission when Anabelle only wanted to go home. The first person who caught her attention, though, was the crimson-eyed fellow who gazed back at them (@Xavier Weissman ). Her eyes widened but she mustered the courage to raise her left hand shoulder-level and have a nervous smile, "H-Hi. You g-guys seem to be ready."

    @Moonbunny
    @Aiko Yamauchi

    Yuichi has given me permission to temporarily include his character in my posts since he would not be able to write until 1st or 2nd of November.

  2. Nap, chores, and calling in to use his sick days just for this event. In the real world this man was not one to be sick often, or at all for months at a time, giving Alonso plenty of breathing room for his expeditions. That, and the smudge on the wall had been more than a grievance to where it taunted him the exact moment Alonso logged out of the game for the evening. Bullshit the cleaner killed 99.9% of germs. Even still, the Felis could not complain about that, considering one time at the office a guy came in and clogged up the toilet for a week. The ladies were fine since it was not their restroom, but Alonso still shudders at the thought of holding it for hours on end.

    His main business was at hand the moment he logged in. One of the NPCs sorting things out had rushed up to the Marquees and requested the large man to be at a specified wagon. "Very well," the Felis replied, having not issues with the assignment. Being someone with a higher ranking title meant his responsibilities were not going to stop. On top of that, he was determined to complete this mission to the best of his abilities. Before his thoughts ran amok, a Felis woman ran up to him and... poked him? Strange way of getting his attention. Still, she did not seem to mean it to antagonize the man.

    Right, the other play who was on horseback while the majority were forced to bear the pains of being restricted to wagons. Somewhat out of habit, his massive shoulders rolled back to relieve a few points of stress, "I didn't get a chance yet to consider who's coming with us, but for now you're one of them." Alonso tilted his head to observe this woman a bit more. What should he say? Once again he had no information yet, and thus had nothing to ponder. Something in his mind pressed on to be let out. Ah, yes, conversation, "You know, you can just call me Alonso. Having a title doesn't mean I'm gonna be a hard ass about it."

    Another person arrived soon after the young woman met up with him. "So far we have room, and it's better than having just us two," the Marquees began, "Meaning with another we're at three for our team. At the moment, of course. Really the best I can come up with is be on the lookout for someone either not in a group yet or inquiring about us."

  3. When it came down to it, Moony was beginning to prefer belonging to a set of familiar faces, it was all the easier to remember names, not to mention the benefits of good company. Turning her gaze toward @Aiko Yamauchi , Moony smiled.

    "Ah- I must confess it's a relief to have you along once more. Considering our coming venture into the unknown, It's a comfort to know that I can count on at least some sort of familiarity in the trial yet to come."

    Nodding she added her two cents to @Xavier Weissman 's sentiment as she followed the two along to meet the new passengers.

    "Well if one were to ask me, it's hard to say. I confess that i'm not all-together the hot-blooded sort that is left raring and chomping at the bit for a coming battle, and yet at the same time, I would very much like for this 'venture cruise' to be over. All the better then, that time is apparently of the essence in this rescue mission..."

    Arriving at the Speedwagon and seeing the scene before her, she could hardly contain her surprise.

    "My- we shall be having artists aboard? I see that I shall not be wanting for entertainment on the last legs of our journey! Quite the gaggle of characters aren't we, yes?"

    Moony laughed a quiet glass-bell sort of laugh. Things were certainly getting interesting.

    @Yuichi Ichinose
    @Anabelle Zhang

  4. It was questionable to say that they were ready. Even as the wagon sped down the roads, Weissman felt like he had forgotten something.. Something highly important to the missions success rate? Nay for his own sanity.. Just what the hell was it? Patting himself down he swiftly grasp the hilt of McStabberson and exhaled lightly. Retrieving the blade he began to twirl it to regain his relaxed composure.

    "I dare say there is not way to be ready for this.. Even in the battle field.. It's hard to prepare for something like combat. Tis what I learned when I lost some comrades of my own off server.." Starring at the dagger his crimson optics narrowed before offering the group a large smile. Gesturing at @Anabelle Zhang 's drawing he leaned against the wall and gazed upwards. "You have your drawing to keep you at piece.. Dearest @Moonbunny relies on familiarity to keep her senses straight. @Aiko Yamauchi is unknown to me still as is @Yuichi Ichinose , but i am sure they have their own quirks which keep them calm." Shrugging his shoulders slowly Xavier looked out the back of the wagon to the dirty trail and wagons that followed.

    "I have my dagger which keeps me sane and close to combat ready as possible. No worries when the time is right your body will know what to do. Trust it always and you will find little difficulty besides levels in here. An of course the games fighting system.." Laughing out loud he surely missed the days of hand to hand combat, they rolled through his brain despite the game remained stationed before him. Shaking it all off Weissman slowly sheathed his blade before stretching out his limbs.

    "We are indeed an odd group but I think we will do marvelously. Stay close and remember to watch all side no?"

  5. The night before was both weird and pleasant. Not only did she meet a healer to take care of her through this journey, she also slept in-game for the first time. And oddly enough, it felt just like waking up in the real world. Still not totally used to this whole VR thing, it felt surreal how natural it felt to just wake up, like that. She would usually expect to be met with a pop-up window or a system prompt but no, she just... Woke up. That stunned her for a while, her laying on the ground as she thought about it, until she felt someone push her shoulder a bit, as to wake her up. She was ready to tell them to give her five more minutes, until she turned to face the origin of the motion.

    Two things stunned her at the moment. The rising sun going after her eyes, and Vina's cascading white hair glistering against it. But wait, for her hair to be in that angle, she could only be on her... Blake took a few moments to analyze her current situation. Two moments were used to locate Vina. One moment was composed of her brain freezing, and the last one brought the flush of blood to her cheeks, more known as blushing. They were actually cuddling! Like, that thing that couples did! She squealed, her cheeks red as they can be, before she looked at Vina. That smile... Made her calm down, a bit. No need to make a scene right now. Although, she did return the smile.

    As Vina untangled from her, she got up, stretching for a little bit. The blushing was a bit weaker, but still there, showing that she was still a bit embarassed by all of it. She then jumped around to get less lazy, and noticed that her wound was not there anymore. @Vina Skysong must have healed it when she slept. She then listened to what she had to say. They had to take a team, huh? Well, she didn't know a lot of people, so she would just flock to the team Vina went. "I know! Why don't me and you go to the team that is calling me? I think its a fair idea!"

  6. Only after going through all the ordeal a few hours ago did Indra fee the weight of heavy shoulders and the pain from tense muscles. She felt bad for that, however. If anything, she was one of the people responsible for the what the flying gator dragon-thing that appeared out of nowhere. In resentment, monotone words rolled off her tongue “Melancholic. I wonder just when I am gonna find a suitable set of skills…” She threw her body on the bed and laid on her back.

    Something wasn’t quite right. Perhaps, the tent was too quiet? Indra quickly sat up, flustered at the thoughts going on about on her mind. “Unbelievable. Am I actually missing the annoying snore that greeninja does?” Truth be told, it was getting a bit late already and there was no signs from @Quinn yet. The blonde shrugged and got some of her items from a backpack. Quill and ink ready, she started writing her own content in her diary.

    Today was another adrenaline-filled day! She could have used system tools to make notes, but nostalgia about writing diaries was just so good, I somehow managed to bump into Mr.Grassman again, but he put me into trouble at some point on the bumpy ride. I’ll make sure to research on flying hedgehogs. Then, there was that enormous dragon thing! Out of the people I met, there was that one colorful person doing some lovely music magic! She grooved as the memories of the song magic returned to her mind. I wonder if it’s practical in battle… But it was such a catchy song!

    There was also a person that was really confident of herself, so many bold approaches. Last one was a fellow magician with a really large hat, but it looked like she wasn’t very confident on her spells. It’s a shame I didn’t get to talk with them that much! At least everything’s alright for now!
    Little did the blonde notice that her ever-cold expressionless features were bright as the stars in the night, lips curled up and eyes brimming with life.

    Out of nowhere, the horn pierced the early morning and forcefully woke up the blonde. Only a few seconds later did the magecrafter notice how she slept while writing. “Waaagh. Woebegone, I slept like stone. I need to get ready.” Indra sat on her bed and undid her braid in order to fix it up. At that moment, however, Quinn barged in her tent. Light peered inside, revealing a blonde covered only by bed sheets. Her face reddened up as she disregarded anything he said.

    “Leave.” Arcane magic sparkled on her right hand. He either left the tent by his own volition or blasted by arcanamancy. Less than thirty minutes later, Indra left the tent ready to tag along the entourage. As they made their way towards the rendezvous point for green team, she commented. “Disappointed. Of all things I have called you by, I never thought I’d call you…”

    “Pervert.”
