Lachlan Faye, theatre expert and fashion icon, is looking for fresh talent to star in his latest touring production: The Great Carbuncle. The only problem is, he never finish his script beyond the characters and basic premise! The barebone story details the infamous Sherdock Bones, an undead detective who is attempting to figure out the culprit who has been bringing undead folks back to life with his sidekick, Dr. Moan H. Watson, a zombie who was an army medic when he was alive.
It is up to you to lead Lachlan Faye’s production into a commercial success! Oh, and you won’t have any rehearsal beforehand. Off-script improvisation is the finest tool and Lachlan Faye has given you and your partner the opportunity to act in various, big-named Theaters alongside various actors and actresses around the world!
Pick a Role:
- Sherdock Bones Genius detective, drug addict, and cult leader.
- Moan Watson Zombie foil of the great Bones.
- Lames Joriaty A crippled undead mastermind priest who seeks to topple the undeath society by reviving people, creating havoc everywhere.
- Wycoff Bones An undead whose deduction is even better than his brother, Sherdock. He serves a civil servant in the Undercity's Government.
- Inspector Rottingstrade An undead policeman who often relies on Sherdock's genius, who often brings Bones cases that trump the law enforcement.
- Arine Deadler Sherdock fleeting love interest.
Rolling: When you are acting out the scene, roll a d100.
- The closer you are to 1, the more you are underacting...
- If you get a 50, your acting sequence is flawless.
- The closer you are to 100, the more you are overacting!!!
If you had Muse, Music, Phantasmia, each tier (except beginner) gives 2 point. Tally it up, you have up to that total number to add or subtract from your performance roll! This modifier is basically your attempt to use your charisma to change the audience reaction toward your performance.
Objective:
- Pick a role and improvise the entire play for a live audience.
