Trees, trees in every direction, this was the only thing that Galadion could see as he looked around, it was a scene that was rather unusual to him after having spent so much of his time in either that Esuilus or Zalra regions of Yladia, it had been quite awhile since he had seen anything other than mushrooms or crystallized plant life. The musty smell of moss and damp leaves filled the air as he titled his head back and allowed the earthy scent to fill his nostrils as he inhaled deeply, it was a smell that he had almost forgotten but still deeply enjoyed if truth be told. Taking a moment to rest from his travels he leaned up against one of the trees that was near him and tilted his head back to look up at the afternoon sky, there wasn't a cloud that could be seen through the canopy, it really was a peaceful scenery that he found himself in evident by the yawn that forced his mouth open and caused him to shake his head to try and wake himself back up again. He felt so relaxed here that he honestly thought he might have been in danger of falling asleep right there against the tree, it had been so long since he was able to let his guard down like this in the wilds, the Yladia regions that he spent most of his time in this world in was much more hostile than these forests. And because of that he decided that he was going to take advantage of it as much as he possibly could, slowly he allowed himself to sink down onto the ground with his back pressed up against the bark of the tree and tilted his head back leaning it against the tree, his eyelids drooping slowly as sleep quickly began to overtake him. It was there, right there within his grasp but just before he could achieve it, his relaxed state was shattered and forced him wide awake once again. The sound of shuffling brush made his long elven ears twitch and his eyes to flash open and scan the area around him slightly, something was out there he could hear it but it was making sure to stay out of his line of sight which showed a level of intelligence and intelligence in an enemy made it that much more dangerous. Whatever was out there was stalking him, it was taking its time to size him up to try and see if he was an easy prey or not, something that he very much did not intend to be. Quickly he rose to his feet and dropped into a defensive stance, something that didn't really make much sense because he was a magic user so whatever his stance was had no impact upon the outcome of his fights. It seemed as if it was a habit that he had developed from watching other players who preferred melee combat get ready for a fight, standing there his eyes continued to scan the area around him looking for whatever it was that was trying to turn him into their next meal, from the corner of his eyes the bushes behind him rustled slightly giving the location of the creature. And there he seen them, here he had been all excited thinking that he was going to get to fight some kind of new creature but all that it was was just a plain old wolf pack, the disappointment caused him to sigh slightly as he shook his head and groaned ever so slightly. "Sula a igira nal!", the words of power seemed to echo mystically around the forest as he spoke the magical invocation needed for one of his Hydromancy spells, he would have preferred to have used one of his Pyromancy spells however they wouldn't have been very good considering the terrain that he was in. The last thing that he needed to do was to defeat the wolves that had interrupted his nap only to burn down the very first that he was trying to sleep in and so his preferred offensive mastery was off limits to him for the time being. Three large spheres of water appeared trapping three of the wolves inside, he stood there and watched as the creatures inside thrashed around inside of the water as they tried to regain the ability to breathe once again. The movements of the wolves slowly began to slow down until it stopped all together as the wolves lungs filled up with water and they drown, once they stopped their movement the spheres of water broke and the corpses of the wolves fell down upon the ground. Turning his attention away from the three wolves that he had just easily dispatched he brought attention to the remaining three wolves when a larger hulking creature stepped out of the shadows, drool dripping from its long yellowed fangs. A Dire Wolf, the very first creature that he ever encountered when he entered into this virtual world which brought a small smile to his face as he looked at the behemoth of a wolf, it was as if his journey had come full circle. He would use this opportunity to see just how much his strength had grown, when he first got here a dire wolf had almost torn him limb from limb and he had only survived when another player intervened for him, now he wanted to see what he could do against one completely alone. @Caelynn Thia
Caelynn Thia had been wondering around taking in all the sights and sounds this new virtual world had to offer. It was even better that she had nobody around to put her down or tell her how useless she was. Of course, Camus or Lorelei had been right. Without training herself and working to improve her Mastery skills, she would be the pink weakling that the entire game would eventually come to know. That would be utterly annoying. Nobody gave her a chance to do anything. This type of scenery seemed like a fairy tail. It's earthy tone gave it some type of magic feel to it. Which come to think of it seemed kind of unusual. How did a bunch of trees give off such strong magical power? Perhaps it was a glitch in the game? Perhaps the game was updating to make it more magical? Or perhaps there was someone near by with an enormous abundance of magical power. She figured she would use her investigation skills now. Figure out what it was and if it would possibly try to kill her. Caelynn didn't want to be known as the coward but if something was going to kill her, she figured running away would keep her alive. She once heard from a Transformers movie that sometimes the coward does survive. The pinkette decided to keep on moving forward sensing the level of the magic. Looking around at all the trees, she spun around as her pink locks followed around and swung down her back. She almost felt like Princess Belle in the black forest on her way to the Beast's castle. Being raised on Disney movies, Caelynn often related everything to some type of Disney movie. Rather it was during her in game adventures or real life issues. It seemed to help her get through everything. Some people would call her a Disney nerd and she was proud to live up to that title. As she got closer to where she felt the magical flow, she began to hear familiar sounds. Her ears twitched letting her know that they could hear like creatures. Caelynn sighed and looked up at a tree. It looked like it was meant to be climbed. Just looking at it, the tree seemed to be inviting her to give it a try in climbing. Her ears twitched again when she heard the sounds of wolves. Her eyes widened as she remembered hearing a player explain a Dire Wolf. She had looked it up and the creature looked terrifying. They were out there but she hoped to never run into one. Shaking her head, she walked over to a tree and grabbed on to it's branches and began climbing it. If she was near a wolf's den then she had better get the hell out of there. Why is it she always found herself into trouble? Was it her destiny? All she had to do was turn away and mind her own business. Like a cat, she was curious to see what was going on. Once she got up high enough, she looked around for other trees to jump into. Lucky for her, they seemed close enough for her to fling herself into. Jumping from one tree into another, she felt like Spiderman using his webs to go from building to building. Atleast she made herself look more elegant while doing this type of travelling. From tree to tree, she jumped through the forest until she came into small opening. Sitting on a high up branch, she looked around to see a Male Yladia. His avatar looked of royalty. Needless to say, she was entranced by him. Her eyes scanned around and she saw some wolves going in to attack him. She gasped softly and tightened her grip on the branch above her as she watched with anticipation. She wondered if she should jump down and help him out. She quickly thought about the monstrous bird she had met with her first meeting of Camus and Lorelei. Things didn't really go well during that encounter. Fighting may not be her area of expertise. She needed help and had to learn somehow. However she didn't want to be responsible for killing another player because of her own stupidity. As her flashback faded out, she looked around for the wolves and saw that they were suddenly surrounded by water and drowning. Before she knew it, they were dead. Caelynn's eyes widened with shock. She never saw something like that before. Of course she had been right about sensing magical power. It had all come from the male player below her. It was really quite impressive. There were three other wolves remaining and then a bigger wolf came out snarling and drooling. A dire wolf! She was actually seeing one for the first time. Looking over at the male player, he was smiling. What was there to smile about? Had he waited for an encounter like this? Or was he out of his mind to begin with? Shouldn't he be running or calling for backup? Three regular wolves and a Dire wolf. The odds weren't good against the lone player. He was out numbered by alot. Although judging by his facial expressions he didn't seem nervous or scared. Perhaps he was confident that he could take on all the creatures and come out unscathed. As she watched from above, it was like tuning into a movie in the middle of a fight scene. For someone that had never seen the show before, all you could do is watch and hope for the best. Caelynn felt anxious and helpless just watching from above. She opened her mouth but quickly covered her mouth mentally telling herself to keep quiet and just keep watching. This male player looked interesting and perhaps he could take care of himself. For now she would just sit there and keep on watching the show. She was rooting for the player to come out on top. With all the magical power she sensed, he just had to win it all. After all, he took out three wolves just like that. What else could he do? What else was he capable of?
