Hello, and welcome. As I'm sure you figured out, I'm Corvus and I'm one of the newer people to arrive. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
I've been RPing off and on for a long time. Mostly I've stuck with Star Wars, Cyberpunk and similar genre so this place seemed right up my alley. I'm a bookworm through and through. I'd honestly rather read than play video games most of the time. Admittedly, it has been awhile since I've written but I'll jump back into the swing of things quick enough (me thinks anyway). Also a big music lover and play the guitar, ronrocco, bass and I plan on teaching myself the piano, cello and violin when I get back home. I love to compose music. If I'm not reading, I'm usually plucking away at something.
I love RPs because there is no better opportunity to create. I'm all about character development and I love the psychology that makes a character who they are. I very much so enjoy throwing characters into unfamiliar and uncomfortable situations that test morality and further change their train of thought. Sometimes it'll be for the better, sometimes not so much. I enjoy the evolution all the same.
Likes: Action, comedy, cosmic horror, really anything that has an interesting premise.
Dislikes: Overpowered mary sues that render all other members irrelevant. Magical Realms especially.
Post Length: I'll usually match the length of my posting partner, but sometimes I'll go full retard if a muse strikes. This doesn't happen often though.
Posting Pace: I try to match my partner(s), however my job can sometimes take me out of the fight for extended periods of time. Sometimes I can't give notice on when or for how long I'll be away but I will always try.

Yep Kenosis: The feeling of being deeply engaged in the character or in the fiction as a whole.
To a certain degree. Not to the extent that they excel at everything with no challenge. Ludus: Fun from working the system optimizing performance within the rules.
Sometimes Paida: Free-wheeling player fun, where rules are a convenience.
Depends on the person Sociability: The fun of being able to spend time with other people and enjoy their company.
Really depends Alea: The gambler’s thrill, the fun of taking a big risk, the tension that comes with it, win or lose.
Very much so Closure: The feeling that there’s nothing more that needs to be done, and the thing is finished.
Absolutely yes Fiero: The feeling of triumph, or winning, of defeating a challenge, or overcoming adversity.
Yep yep yep Kairosis: The feeling of fulfillment that comes from change and development.
Yeppers Naches: The enjoyment of seeing someone that you have taught, or are responsible for, go on to do well with that knowledge.
Someone getting whats coming to them? Yes. Inflicting pain for kicks? No. Schadenfreude: Delight in the suffering of another. the thrill of seeing the antagonist get what they deserve is a pretty common expression.
So long as it doesn't bog down the narrative Venting: The desire to work out player frustrations or other emotions, using the RP as a means.
