  1. "I can see how that'd be a problem," Harveste mused with a slightly paled expression. Being one who was rather good at getting herself into trouble when she didn't try, it was a good precaution to keep in mind- despite rather liking the woods herself, and wishing she could spend more time in them.

When they neared the village, she was polite towards the elder that came to them, though her surprise on the town's little bet about why Morpheus was out and lost was a bit troubling to her. A part of her wanted to apologize for keeping him so long- she probably hadn't helped his predicament of being lost, in reality.

Still, even she knew better than to take blame for something that sounded like it might happen anyway. "Perhaps he was lost, but he also helped me journey here as well. Perhaps it's a lucky thing he was circling. If not for him, at least for me."

With a gentle smile, she glanced at the man once more. She followed him to his abode, or so she opted to call it, and was rather impressed by the amount of work he'd put into it. The man seemed a bit embarrassed by the clutter, but the girl personally was more in awe than concerned.

"It's a lot cleaner than you claim. If you think this is a mess, you should come see my place offline. No matter how hard I try, it never stops looking like I was hit by some natural disaster." Then again, she didn't try that hard. She didn't try to think on it either as she looked at the nearby drawings. "Did you do all these sketches yourself? Your eye for detail is impeccable."

  2. ”Not so much an eye for detail, I was born with both photographic and eidetic memory. Everything I see, hear, feel, taste, or even smell is recorded in my head. Sadly I have so much information in my own skull that keeping track or recalling it without certain measures is next to impossible for me and only gets harder the more information I take in.”

_____Morpheus would throw a few scrolls into a shelf labeled ‘plant information’ before moving with his arms filled with scrolls towards ‘fertilizer types’ It took him a few moments to recall he had forgot to say something. ”Make yourself at home, I’m sure Sara would not mind someone being here. She is my landlord I guess you could call it, her room is on the second floor she had me build so she could escape the clutter I ended up making of the place.” Morpheus spoke as he poked his head out from around a corner before returning to set the item's away.

_____Returning to the main room to see a few bags overflowing with scroll, looks like each of his other notes had made it back here safely before him. ”Correction, Sara is more a worried NPC over my safety. A few times I ended up in some odd spots because of my sense of direction so she acts like my seeing eye dog for the blind I guess. Told her a few times I would be fine on my own but she never listened and insisted I build that second floor so she could be closer.”

_____Morpheus sounded just like the crazy insane and smart people from shows, ranting even if others might not so much care about it while they moved around and working on things. His hands reading small markings on the sides of a scroll to set them in according matching piles before taking them elsewhere in the house. If Harveste moved to the kitchen she would see a room covered with books that had notes and pictures of so many people and empty ones still to be filled, Lime Morpheus planned to record every person that ever existed in the world.

  3. "An eidetic memory sounds handy on the one hand, but...Memorizing every smell and stuff? That sounds rough. I can see why you'd need to write it all down." Her eyes kept glancing at the various clutter, the various scrolls and books and drawings, all laid out for her eyes to enjoy. "But even if it's to help you remember...Your handwriting is amazing, you know?"

She noticed the spots where there were no pictures or anything, the ones that felt like they didn't just fit in with the rest of the informational pieces she'd seen. "Why are these blank, Morpheus? And...How do you remember which one of these is which? There's so much information here...If you have a hard time storing in your head, how do you store what's here in there?"

  4. _____Morpheus looked over to see what Harveste was speaking about for a few moments before lightly whistling and tossing a scroll her way. The circular side had three defining symbols. A small flower, two numbers split by a dash beside the flower, and numbers below those. ”Plant life, date, scroll number from that date. As for the blanks…” Morpheus walked out with a pile of papers in his arms and some falling behind him, his tail flicking them to avoid falling in his path ways as he made it over to Harveste with nothing left of his pile.

”The unknown, Helps remind me that even if I feel like everything I should know is known, there is still space for more, still more to see, still more to witness, and more people to learn more about.”

_____Morpheus climbed up a shelf and passed a book down to the girl, the cover had the name ‘Sara Windfall’ The pages had details all about the one person from personality, to history, to even her sizes. Everything that seemed to be about the one NPC was in the book yet more pages left empty for more to be added, the spine of the book allowing pages to be moved around to go where they should in the book.

”Sara always said this clutter was impossible to be any form of organized, the pile there is unfinished notes or impartial things, the pile across the room is adult information that I don’t let the kids in the town go near, the pile at the door is about human interactions and emotions...”

_____He seemed ready to keep going until the teapot whistled loudly getting him to move over and take it off the heat. Opening a small pantry to reveal countless labeled jars of tea leafs and blends as he looked over for Harveste. ”Have a choice tea blend? I tried to remake as many of the human world blends with this worlds items, I also had a few from the NPCs that they shared with me and I made a few changes to some to make my own blends.” Morpheus would wonder off before returning with a stair stool to help Harveste look them over if she wanted to pick her own. Meanwhile Morpheus took out empty tea bags and filled one with his choice.

  5. As he explained the scroll he'd given her with information galore, the girl could only stare in wonder. So much detail was given, some of it reminding her a lot of a book she'd 'borrowed' from her grandmother (and eventually kidnapped after talking to her about it).

"I swear, you could write a book about this stuff, Morpheus! Your details are so clear and concise. Ah, and I know some of the blank parts, myself. I have a special herb book that talks about the medicinal and culinary uses of all sorts of plants, as well as cultivation. If it's the same here as the other world, I can tell you some of the things you're missing...Though my memory isn't that good, so I'd have to get the book for some parts and message you them. Want me to go ahead and do that sometime?"

And soon, the man continued explaining his organization method. Surprisingly, Harveste considered it quite sound, if not better than her own! "If Miss Sara thinks this is a wreck, she should see my home. It's quite similar, if not worse." Her words laced with timidity, she scratched her behind her ear.

The whistle of the teapot surprised her a bit when it came up- though, shockingly, not as bad as she expected. What caught her attention even more was the vast amounts of tea the man had worked on making, all labeled carefully. And, even more, he was offering her some? Was this heaven?

She took the tea she loved the most- a simple green tea, nothing particularly added to it. Adding it to the bag to seep that he'd offered, she thought for a moment. "If you have this kind of pantry in real life, please let me come visit. I practically survive on tea. It helps me work. And you even have green tea." Grinning, she added, "Say, do you have any spare berries? I really find berries and tea mix well together. It helps cool it down a wee bit, and gives you a nice tea-flavored snack when you finish the drink."

  6. _____Morpheus would look to the pantry for a few moments while the teas soaked. ”I don’t drink much tea at home… This village happen to have a small tea farm that was it’s main income but due to the lack of variety they have not sold as much recently. These blends are now growing in my garden and the village garden to hopefully provide enough income when or if they make it through winter.” Morpheus looked outside the window of the house to see some of the kids playing and a group of men going out to hunt for the day.

_____It was assuring to see the people could go on living without him always there, but as knocking resounded from his front door Morpheus walked over with his tea to see a women standing there. ”Sorry to bother you Morpheus but could I borrow some of that soothing tea you had given my son last time, seems the sickness is going around.” Morpheus took a sip from his tea before moving to get a few packets ready and go into his study before setting berries for Harveste and giving the bags to the women who thanked him before leaving allowing Morpheus to close the door.

”Sorry when I’m here they treat me sort of like the jack of all trades. Medical, building, repairs, somewhat cooking, farming, or just the heavy lifter… they used to trust me hunting but I don’t do good with directions and got separated from them.”

_____Morpheus took another sip of his tea before going back to sorting all of his documents. He looked odd a few times walking around with a arm full of scrolls while sipping tea or refilling his cup a number of times. One thing was clear the more he drank the faster he seemed to move around the area. Bag after bag getting emptied before there was just a pile of empty bags at his door and a yawning Felis sitting in his study writing the locations and brief notes of each new scroll in his search book for the villagers.

  7. Sipping her tea not long after adding the berries to it, she watched carefully as her host was relied upon by strangers, and how carefully he seemed to work to aid them. That he apologized for it made her giggle, lips still gently wrapped around her cup's lip instead. Placing it down soon after, she smiled softly. "There's no reason to apologize for helping people, Morpheus."

A gentle sigh escaped her, eyes glancing out the window to watch the women that had come and left finding their way back to their homes. She wondered what it must be like for them, living in this dangerous world with no ability to escape it. Did they have their own method of escape, like those who played the game to escape their own reality? Perhaps she could work on finding a way to make one for them, if nothing else.

"It's nice to me that they rely on you. Even if you can't help with everything, that you want to is a sign of good character. I'm sure that's why they're willing to ask you for aid, don't you think? Because you're so willing to try to give them strength. Just make sure you save your strength for yourself sometimes."

Then again, it wasn't like she was one to talk of strength, however, let alone moderation of it. "I wonder if I can help them too, somehow? I'm not as varied in talent as you are, but I'm sure there's something even I could do."

  8. ”I find that most times the best way is to ask if there is anything you can help with. Most people in Stonefall are very honest or always happy to give people task since the help is always needed out here. Currently I know that outside the scarce food supply there has been more monsters from the north attacking the village. We have a small wall set up but still trying to get something better.”

_____Morpheus looked towards the north, he was one of the main builders for the wall, even though it looked temporary it was built to take a lot of beating thanks to using some modern methods and tricks. Sipping his tea as he considered adding to the defense later since he was back in the village. ”Some of the people have already begun talking about maybe moving from the village due to the declining state of it. The area no doubt had bounty before, but ill treating of such has caused it to suffer recently.” Morpheus was still at his desk writing as he spoke, a slight yawn escaping his lips as his UI beeped.

_____Moving his hand to check the low sleep meter he mumbled to himself for a bit. Unlike reality even if he got extremely sleepy the game would force him to sleep before that point. Moving his cup and papers before resting his head and starting to sleep, mostly forgetting he had company over as he began to snore after a few moments.

  9. "Well, I don't really know who to ask and I don't have that many skills...If anything, with the monster issue, I doubt anyone would want me staying in town for very long. I seem to have a knack for luring them to me when I don't want to."

As anxiety settled into her throat, a sip of tea helped ease it out with her breathing. She sniffed the aroma slightly each time, her eyes showing an overly amused expression as she did so. "I mean, I can use magic tools...But that only helps so much to fight off the baddies. I wonder if I can help set traps using vines? I did that before, it worked pretty well on some of the critters. I've helped grow clover for some farmers livestock before, too. Didn't see much in the way of cattle out there though..."

Shaking her head rapidly, she realized she was prying and rambling at the same time, an issue she knew she had a tendency towards. About to apologize, she noticed her host snoring audibly in his chair, causing the faerin to merely giggle, sitting with her tea close in hand. As she smiled, she took one last sip and stretched an arm across the table to rub the man's head, wishing him good dreams in a quiet voice.

Still, she wasn't sure if it was best to leave without warning. So, she looked for something to write on, wrote him a note with a way to contact her and thanks for the tea, and slipped out while closing the door quietly behind her. Trotting along the path, she looked behind her towards the building, her grin still evident on her face. "Maybe I'll do as he said and ask if I can help..." And with that in mind, she pranced along on her way.
