  1. A field of grass had taken her eyes by surprise, her green hair blending in under the beating sun. It was her first time spawning into the world of Terra, and it felt as though this location was chosen to welcome her with open arms, the sun's invisible smile a sign of good things to come.

She took a quick peek at the controls, pulling a simple sword from her inventory so she'd be ready if she were to be attacked. Even in the early stages of a game, danger was never too far behind. After a fair number of years spent gaming in her life, she had at least learned that much despite her tendency to rush into things.

She scanned the hills surrounding her with open eyes, curious if she'd find anything to show her the way of the world. There was not a single creature in sight that she could find, which led her to frown, but soon she managed to spot a small speck of color that didn't blend in. Walking towards it, she could see a woman with ears like her own. Another of her species already?

"Scuse me!" The girl soon chimed, rushing to the stranger's side. "I'm new here. Can you tell me where I am...and how to get to town? I figure that's the best place to start getting my bearings, but I don't know where that would be."

  2. With a basket over one arm and two fingers on her temple, Kaeliel investigated the surroundings as she wandered the hills. She'd met a painter in a nearby town who needed certain plants that grew in the area for pigments; wanting to get a better understanding of how painters worked in this world (and hopefully be rewarded with some art supplies of her own), Kaeliel had agreed to take on the task, and was finding the Investigation Mode very useful in locating the objectives. So focused was she on her search that she didn't notice the stranger's approach.

A bit startled by the sudden appearance of someone else in what had been an empty field, Kaeliel turned to look towards her- the bright pink glow fading from her eyes as she lowered her hand, leaving them their usual greenish-blue shade. She was another Yladian- but her clothes were simple like her own, unlike the relatively outfit of the Yladian NPC she'd first encountered. With that and her words, it was clear she was another player.

"Good day," Kaeliel said with a smile. "I haven't been here much longer than you have, actually. This land is Falderen; this part of it is called Brisshal; and the nearest town would be Gammagetown just over... hmm, that way," she explained, orienting herself for a bit before pointing back the way she'd come. Not wanting to leave things solely on business, she continued with an introduction. "I'm Kaeliel, by the way. Kaeliel Arellende. Who might you be?"

  3. "Kaeliel Arellende...That's an interesting name, and a bit of a mouthful." The girl giggled, brushing some hair out of her face so she could better see the other elfling. "I'm Solaria. I didn't opt for a first and last name, but now I wonder if I should have."

She wouldn't think about it too long, however, as she recollected the information given to her for what she would soon call her 'orientation' to Terrasphere. "So the setting is Falderen...Is Brisshal like a state or something?" Her grin and giggle soon turned into somewhat more real laughter, her mind entertained a bit more than expected by something simple. "And...Gammagetown somehow sounds really funny."

She snuck a look around again, then at the stranger once more, she noticed the basket. That wasn't normally in one's inventory, was it? She hadn't seen one... "Oh, are you working on a quest right now? That basket looks like it'd be for harvesting. I wonder if I should go look for some harvesting too...I opted to try alchemy out, so ingredients might be good to find to try the system..."
