  1. It was another peaceful day in the forests of Brisshal. Birds chirping in the trees, the soft chatter of a squirrel. Of course, how peaceful you could call the forest all had to do with how far away you were from the many adventurers, slaughtering everything in their path. This spot was one of the few, pleasant little patches of forest which had won the metaphorical lottery and remained quiet… for now. Without any warning, a bright little flash went off. There - where the was previously nothing - stood a young woman with dark teal hair and a pair of matching cat ears on her head.

Celestine flexed her fingers. She turned her neck left and right. She twitched her… cat ears? Now that was a strange sensation. All of it was odd actually. It seemed the rumors were correct: this game really did have a sense of touch. A crazy-realistic one as well, she thought while running her hand over a nearby tree. Rough bark: just as tangible as the fluffy ears on top of her head. Kinda spooky, but mostly just cool.

In her distraction, she hadn’t noticed something that’d felt a bit… ‘off.’ A fluffy, grey creature, which had snuck up behind her without even trying to be stealthy. It wasn’t until the beast had begun to let out a low growl that Celestine finally spun around to be met with a grey wolf, with sharp fangs showing from a toothy snarl.

“Ahah! It is the beasties coming to challenge my adventuring,” she shouted out for no real reason. The voice sounded pretty real too, so that was cool. “How was it that I do the spells again,” she asked herself, opening up the menu? Flipping through the various menus, she finally found and selected the Spells options, but before she could delve any further into the translucent screen, it was violently replaced by the jaws of an aggressive wolf.

    “Ack!”

Celestine leaped backward, but the wolf was easily able to lock its jaws into her side. “Oww! Goodnesses, that’s many of the pains,” she shouted! Truthfully, although it did hurt, it was more of a massive stinging than true agony. Realistic pain settings must be nearly unbearable.

“Gets your teeths off of the side of mine,” she shouted at the wolf, grabbing a nearby stick and slamming it down with a fairly ineffective whack! From the status menu she’d left open, she could see the HP bar draining rapidly as the wolf sunk its teeth in deeper.

  2. Joen stood in one of the forested areas by the new player starting area of Brisshal, he had recently been one of the countless players there were hunting the wildlife in this area and had to say they could be some really mean beasties. As he stood there he allowed his eyes to close slowly and inhaled deeply, the scent of the forest around him filling his nose and astonishing him once again with how realistic it was, the damp grass from the early morning dew, the musty smell of the moss growing on the side of the trees, the creators of Terrasphere got it all down perfectly so much so that it was almost scary really. Opening his eyes Joen looked around again, a grin spreading across his face as he did so before he pushed off into the forest once again.

Joen had about as much stealth as a bull in a china shop as he crashed through the brush, the sound of snapping twigs and rustling leaves giving anything in the area plenty of time to escape his path long before he would ever notice them. A fact that he seemed 100% completely oblivious to, however when he came to a stop his long pointed ears twitched slightly at the sound of a animal growling slightly, turning his head in the direction that the sound came from he move, with more stealth this time, to investigate. Poking his head through the bushes he came upon the scene of a decently sized grey wolf with its fangs sank into the side of a player, a Felis female from the looks of her. Smiling Joen sprang from the bushes, his spell menu already open as he flicked the button for the only spell he possessed in his Pyromancy Mastery, the fireball spell. The games automatic assist system took over helping Joen recite the mystic chant needed for the spells, flames crackling to life in the palm of his right hand before he thrust it forward and the ball of flames flew from his hand and exploded on the side of the wolf, startling it and doing enough damage so that it released his maw from the side of the female player "Never fear, the worlds greatest sorcerer Joen Panelis is here", flicking the button for the spell once again Joen meant to cast the spell and hope to kill the beast however this time the flames fizzled out in his hand causing him to chuckle slightly "Haha....oops"

  3. As Celestine searched her brain for any kind of way to release the wolf from her side, her ears twitched at the sound of something else barreling through the foliage of the woods. What a way to start… immediately getting rushed by a whole group of wolves. It seemed a bit unfair really. But when the source of the sound crashed into the scene through a nearby bush, Celestine couldn’t help but return a pained grin. A human. Or, considering the ears, it was a Yladian? Whatever. It wasn’t a wolf!

Celestine felt a warm burst of energy as the fireball struck the beastie. She immediately scrambled away to regain some distance, hopping back up to her feet with some sluggishness that was forced by the simulated pain. “Ahaha, the greatest sorcerer done himself a misfire? Or is it you being greatest sorcerer in the trainings?” She gave a silly smug look in his direction, but jumped back in shock as the wolf shook itself free from the smoldering bits of fur. Setting its sights on the new - and arguably more dangerous - target, the wolf launched forwards towards Yladian sorcerer.

“Oh, oh, oh... um… I will do an assist with a magics of mine,” she proclaimed, returning to her menu. Selecting the first spell on her list, Celestine found herself automatically shouting the spell’s trigger phrase. A weird sensation, having her lips automatically moving without her, but she went with it anyway.

    “Wind Blast!”

As the wolf leapt for Joen, her blast of wind knocked it off to the side and into a tree. It was hard to tell how close it was to being finished without an HP bar, but it certainly looked wounded between the two of them. One more solid hit would no doubt finish it off. Despite this, Celestine ignored it as it stumbled around weakly, instead introducing herself to the other humanoid who’d saved her.

“I’m Celestine. Celestine the Felis. Felistine,” she proclaimed, chuckling at the silly combination of words. “Thankings be all yours for the good timing of the fires,” she said, rubbing the side which had been bitten. It was a bit red, but not as bad as it could’ve been. “We will do the finishing of beastie together then,” she offered? Turning to the wolf, she glanced to the side at Joen, with her finger ready to hit the spell at the same time.

  4. Joen watched as the beast turned its attention away from the female Felis and now concentrated upon him, forcing a smile to spread across his lips and his pointed ears to twitch slightly. The beast was close enough to Joen that he could see the saliva that hung from the corner of its mouth, the yellowing of its teeth and even smell the rank foulness of its breathe. Joen allowed his eyes to stray from the beast for only a moment, just long enough to make sure that the female wasn't seriously wounded. Noticing that she didn't seem to be that injured he allowed a sheepish grin to spread across his face and he raised his right hand to scratch the back of his head as he listened to her comment about his failed attempt at the fireball spell in his arsenal. The smell of singed and burning fur hung heavy upon the air and the motion of the wolf shaking the embers from its remaining fur forced Joens attention back upon the beast.

Now that the beast once again had Joens full attention, he noticed that the beast had lowered the front half of its body and tensed the muscles in its hind legs. The beast had curled its lips back even further than it previously had them, a sign that the attack from Joen had done went and made it angry and just as it pounced towards him Joens ears picked up the females words and he watched as the beast was knocked away from him and collided squarely with a tree not to far in the distance. The beast didn't have a health bar or an hp gauge of any kind like most games which only added to the thrill of Terrasphere, the realism that they had put into it, but even a brand new player such as Joen could tell that the beast had sustained a pretty heavy amount of damage from the way it was staggering about.

Now that he had a moment to take his attention away from the beast Joen turned to the female as she introduced herself allowing a small chuckle to escape his lips "Don't mention it none. As I said I am Joen Panelis, a Yladian. And I am or soon will be anyway, the greatest sorcerer in the world" Joen bowed deeply with a flourish of his arms before standing up right once again and looked at her and nodded "Indeed, let us share the kill", Joen held up his left hand with three fingers up and as he counted down he lowered a finger and once he had reached zero Joen pressed the button for his fireball spell and the games automatic assist system forcing the mystical chant from his mouth and he watched as the small fireball exploded upon the side of the beast.

  5. Right on cue, Celestine pressed her index finger to the button. Of course, it was a button only she could see, so to anyone else, she was just pressing the air. If anything, the two newbie battle magicians only looked cooler for it… at least in her mind. With their combined chants intermingling, her wind blast joined his flame and they both slammed the wolf back down for good with a pitiable whining sound. Celestine threw Joen a quick thumbs up in victory.

“You are one with a greatest of the ambitions!” With a swift motion, Celestine brought her fingers to her forehead. “Your goals are greatly salute-worthy. Good lucks to you.” With that, she concluded her salute and turned to her wound. It didn’t hurt too bad, thanks to the simulated pain, but it felt kinda like an anchor that was weighing her down. Add to that, it was pretty unsightly to see the starting robe torn up and stained red like that. Blech.

“Umm… not that I am absolutely requiring the help, but do you have the knowings of how to fix the breaking?” She pointed to the red bite marks on her side to clarify. “I do not contain the um… ‘mastery’ of heals.” Seeing as the wolf had been knocked away fairly quickly, the HP she’d lost was a whole lot lower than it could’ve been, and the amount of blood still flowing out seemed almost non-existent. Perhaps it was the game registering it as an attack which failed to inflict the ‘bleed’ condition.

  6. Joen watched as the female added the power of wind to his flames, two elements that complimented one another extremely well so well so that it seemed as if the females wind spell added to the power of his fire spell although of course this may have only been his imagination since he wasn't even sure if combining spells was even a real thing. As he stood there Joen watched as the beast released a pitiful whining sound before slumping to the ground for good never to attack anyone again. Joen stood there for a second watch the small amount of smoke rise up from the carcass of the beast as a few embers still burned within its fur before he turned his attention to the female and smiled softly before humming the victory sing from Final Fantasy Seven before chuckling softly.

As he stood there Joen looked the Felis female up and down and as far as he could tell she was a new player just the same as he was. Her equipment was no better than the beginning robes that he himself was wearing and the fact that he had found her inside the mouth of a wolf all pointed to this conclusion. Joen listened to her words and snapped his heels together and his hand to his forehead to return her salute and chuckled slightly before returning to a normal stance and nodded his head "Yeah I intend to become the most powerful magic user in all of Terrasphere one day"

Turning his attention to her wound Joen shook his head to indicate a negative "Sorry, I didn't pick a Mastery that allows me to heal right now. If you want perhaps we could visit the town and see if they have a healing potion of sorts? Or would you perhaps be interested in joining me in hunting down more beasties?", turning away from her Joen scanned the area around them before turning his attention back the Felis females answer to determine his next course of action.

  7. Celestine let out a muffled burst of a chuckle as the robed man hummed a victory theme. She didn’t actually recognize it, considering that the game was older than she was at this point, but it was a fun little quirk. Returning a smile of her own, she made it as obvious as possible that the little hum had won Joen some points in her book.

“Hmm…” Celestine pondered the question she’d been asked. Two options: heal or fight? Her HP looked stable - if a bit drained - despite the attack. The worst that could happen was death, and she’d have to learn how that worked sooner or later. “Pfffft, healings is great dullness,” she said, shrugging her damage off as nothing. “You are to become the greatest of the sorcerers, yes? It is the goal of mine to be the fastest of the Terrasphere persons. So together we will search for the greatest of beastie and do the battling of it!”

Holding a small fist up, she gave him her most confident, ‘battle-ready’ grin while the ears on top of her head twitched a bit and the tail waved back and forth. It was still a weird sensation, but just being able to move new appendages was pretty darn cool. With this, she picked a completely random direction and started wandering off into the woods… or out of them. It was kind of impossible to tell, seeing as she’d spawned right there with no idea where anything else was relative to that spot.

“So am I thinking right that you are also a new person of Terrasphere,” she asked to the man at her side? “Your clothings are very same to mine. I am a very new person myself,” she explained, “so I was doing the wondering if you were my same. What brought you to the here, if I can do the ask?”

  8. Joen chuckled softly as she laughed at him due to his victory theme hum and it would seem that he might have just made himself a friend, it was hard for him to make friends in the real world because people said he was to different, eccentric and his personality was off putting and made people not want to be around him. Not that it bothered him any in the slightest since it allowed him more time to focus on his books and currently allowed him to dive into this amazing world without worrying about any social obligations. Joen listened as the female Felis dismissed the wounds that the wolf had given her as if it were nothing more than a paper-cut which caused Joen to smile slightly.

As he stood there and listened for a moment the smile returned to his face and he nodded "Indeed the fastest person in Terrasphere is also a quite lofty goal indeed. Today the beasts of Brisshal should quiver with fear....Terrashers very own Sorcerer Supreme and Flash are on the hunt today" Joen chuckled softly as those words exited his mouth and his long pointed ears twitched ever so slightly, watching her tail swish back and forth Joen wondered what it would have been like to have a tail, what kind of sensations it brought from being able to manually move it upon your own will. Did it bring pleasure or pain when someone grabbed it? The questions filled his mind but he decided to leave those for another time as the Felis female had already set off in a direction.

Moving to follow the female Joen listened to what she had to say before he nodded his head "Aye, I am indeed a new player as well. Today is actually my first dive into this world, I am a fantasy book writer in the real world you see so I was thinking that coming to this world and experiencing the thrill of quests and magic first hand would help me to write better books" Joen stopped talking however as the duo burst through a set of bushes to come face to face with a pair of green slime monsters, one for each of them. Turning his head Joen flashed the Felis a small grin "Round One.....Fight!!", flicking open his spell menu Joen pressed the button for his fireball spell and recited the mystical chant before raising his right hand and taking aim, the fireball that he launched colliding directly into the center of the slime that was of a green color on the left.

  9. “Mm, writing. That is of good fun,” Celestine nodded, idly swishing the tail. She was finding more and more that it was a very calming sensation to be able to do that freely. “That is a good way of the thinkings. Adventuring for the sakes of getting into the characters. It is of the smarts.” She hopped over a larger, fallen stick in her path. As she continued wandering along, she grew silent for a moment, gazing out into space.

What the man was saying… it got her thinking. He had a great motivation for being here! An aspiring author of fantasy novels, delving into a fantasy world to live out the life of a great sorcerer. It all made sense, and it contrasted her reason for being here. Or rather… her lack of any cool motivation. She’d just joined because it had sounded interesting and fun, but heroes… protagonists. They had cool motivations like this man. They had cool motivations, unlike her.

All of this was spinning around in Celly’s mind as she trekked alongside him. It spun fast, so she wasn’t spaced out for too long, but it was pretty obvious that she was pondering something that was weighing on her mind. She must’ve realized that she was spacing out, however, because she shook herself out of the trance and returned back to reality. Or… well… the simulated reality in this particular case.

“So what kinds of the books do you--” she started to ask as she pushed through another large bush, but was cut off as two green blobs caught her attention. Celestine returned Joen the grin without hesitation as she brought the spell menu back up and hit one of the few she had available, “One-shot technique! Wind Blast!” Striking a pose, she let loose another blast of wind towards the other slime, which connected and left a pretty noticeable dent. It did not, however, finish it off like she’d hoped.

“Aww…” she whined, obviously disappointed. As the slime slowly began to make its way towards her, she hit the spell button again and repeated, this time far less enthusiastically, “Wind blast.” The second shot finally did the slime in, and it collapsed into a pile of goo. Out of the corner of her eye, Celestine noticed something change and commented on it to her battle partner.

“This meter of ‘Energy’ thing... it is going downwards,” she observed, trying to point it out. Unfortunately, to Joen, she would just be pointing to the empty air. “I am of wondering how we should be doing the filling of the ‘Energy’ meter. If this does continue, I think it will be of the problems.” Currently, the meter was still fairly full, but it wasn’t exactly getting any fuller. “Oh well, I am of sureness that it will do a clarification eventually.” With that said, she pressed onward to find a greater beastie to hunt.

  10. Slime a rather disgusting creature as it was nothing more than a moving sentient slime mass, hence the name, however now all Slime monsters were the same their abilities changed depending upon their color and Joen could only assume that based off the dissolving undergrowth left in the wake of the Slime monsters travels that the green variety were acidic. These creatures typically didn't pose much threat to a player but as Joen was a new player and only possessed the starting tier of equipment it was a much more considerable threat to him. Allowing his eyes to wander away from the Slime monster that he had just attacked Joen watched as his Felis companion blasted her Slime monster with a wind blast, he could only assume based upon her words and the disappointed look upon her face when her attack didn't kill it that she had meant to erase it from this world with her first attack.

As she made his second attack however it had dealt enough damage to fell her monster, however Joen noticed that with her blast of wind she blew little pieces of the acidic creature onto the scenery around them a slight hissing sound could be heard as the plant life began to dissolve. Turning his attention back to his monster Joen clicked upon the Fireball spell once again, it felt a little lame and monotonous to keep spamming the same spell over and over again but as it was the most destructive offensive spell he possessed and the only spell in his Pyromancy arsenal it would have to do until he learned some new spells down the road. The mystical chant having been recited once again Joen raised his right hand, the sound of fire crackling to life could be heard as his mana created a ball of fire in the palm of his right hand before he raised his hand and took aim at the monster. The small ball of fire in his palm shot off like a rocket and collided with the center of the sentient slime creature before exploding and splattering the acidic creature across an even wider field that his companions wind spell.

Joen took inhaled deeply before exhaling slowly before turning his attention to his own Energy bar meter at the words of his companion. It would appear that she was right and it was indeed going down however it hadn't been depleted by a large amount since he was only using the weakest of Pyromancy spells that even existed. Turning to look at his companion Joen simply shrugged his shoulders before his eyes landed upon a cave and Joen raised his right hand to point at it "Should we go look for stronger beasts in there?"

  11. Celestine took a good long whiff as an odd smell reached her nose. She hadn’t really been paying much attention in all honesty, but looking back, it seemed like the slimes they’d exploded were now eating away at the plant life. Gosh, that could’ve been really bad if she’d assumed they were as harmless as they looked. Luckily, the both of them had been quick to hit them, and similarly, they’d both attacked from a distance. These looked like they were meant as more of a challenge to melee users, from the way they’d exploded outward like that.

Not long had passed before Joen was quick to point at a cave to their side. A giant, dark opening in the side of a rocky little cliff marked what was definitely a cavern of some sort. A big, deep, most likely musty, and most importantly DARK cave. Celly looked noticeably affected by his interest in the cave, though she did a good job of hiding it.

“I umm… err... ” she stalled, ears pressing down towards her head. “It would be making of the sense to think the stronger of monsters in there.” She looked like she was arguing with herself in her mind. A silent debate only she could hear. Finally, she reasoned, “Oh, but I do not have the lightings for the darks, so--” she started to say, but cut herself off as she realized, “--oh yes: you are of fire magic. Right.” Where’d she’d been very confident before, the cave seemed to be giving her nothing but hesitation.

“Right! We will be going into the cave,” she shouted, finally making up her mind! She still sounded shaky, but it was a firm kind of shaky that showed a good bit of bravery. Or perhaps a stubborn refusal to admit she was scared.

  12. Joen stood there looking at the scene around them, the remains of the acidic slime monsters had been spewn everywhere when they exploded outward from the force of their spells, so small remains dissolving everything that they landed upon. As he stood there Joen the sound of something cracking could be heard causing him to turn around just in time to see a tree come crashing down the lower half of its trunk having been dissolved by the slime monsters remains causing the trees weight and gravity to do the rest. Watching the tree come crashing down Joen was now more than ever thankful to be able to attack from a long range, had then been up close to that thing it could have ended disastrously for them.

Turning to his companion he would have had to have been blind not to notice the physical signs that pointed to her unease at the thought of entering the cave as however he nodded his head "Yes I have Pyromancy as one of my Masterys, I can light the way for us" turning his attention to the cave in the distance he allowed his mind to run wild with what kind of monsters that they may encounter inside. More than likely it would be more wolves or a bare or two but perhaps if they were really lucky they would run into something really interesting like a vampire or some zombies, he would even settle for a troll. With the approval of his companion Joen grinned softly and nodded his head and began the short journey towards the cave.

It didn't take the two of them long to reach the cave, and they didn't encounter any other creatures between where they had slain the slime monsters and the entrance of the cave. This was probably because of Joen since he lacked any form of stealth, the sound of undergrowth being trampled on would give away his approach to any creature long before he actually arrived giving them plenty of time to hide from him. As they arrived at the entrance of the cave Joen peered inside and could notice that not only was the cave extremely dark and damp but it also smelled something foul, taking a single step forward Joen stopped when he heard something crunch causing him to look down. In doing so he finally noticed the bones that were scattered around the cave entrance, skulls of both animals and human as well as rib cages and spines among other bones were everywhere "Well obviously something lives inside"

  13. Celestine glanced over at Joen to take a gander at how he was handling the idea of cave trekking. He was so confident looking to her: the way he strode across the forest floor without any kind of stealth or grace. Like a snowplow of a person, taking whatever life threw at him and pushing through with a confident grin and - it seemed - silly victory fanfares. It was admirable, she thought. The kind of traits she wished for herself. The kind of traits that she found very hard to adopt as they approached the entrance of the cave.

She wasn’t particularly scared of bones. After all, she had a few hundred of those right inside her. It was not even the idea of what could have torn those bones from whatever creature’s body they once inhabited. It was that terrifying shroud of blackness, where anything could happen, and she could walk straight into the jaws of a giant beast without even noticing. That scared her.

“That is many of the bones,” she remarked, almost to calm her nerves by making totally obvious statements. Despite her terror, she did a reasonably good job at putting up a brave front by, ironically, focusing on that grotesque picture. “I wonder of what things the many bones did come,” she pondered, rubbing her hands together shakily.

The vile smell struck her nose quickly, and she shivered involuntarily as her entire face scrunched up from the stench. Perhaps that was the smell of rotting meat from whatever had had it stripped of their bones. Perhaps… this wasn’t such a good idea. But Cell stole another look at the confident sorcerer beside her, and just glancing up at him helped out a bit. Knowing she was on a team with the confident, soon-to-be greatest sorcerer… it helped a lot. If she was going to aspire to that confidence, then she couldn’t back down!

Before they’d even taken two steps out of the direct sunlight, Celly was quick to ask, “Okay then! Do you think you can be doing the illuminating of the cave now,” she asked? It was still perfectly possible to make out the immediate area; she’d just prompted him to light it up extremely early. “It would be of trouble if we were to be doing the bumping of heads into rocks,” she explained, still trying to show she could be as confident as he was.

  14. Joen looked down at the many bones that surrounded the entrance to the cave his eyes narrowing a little bit as he noticed that some of the bones belonged to humans, lifting his gaze he peered into the darkness and steeled himself for what he might find inside. Before the had even taken a single step into the cave his companion however asked if he could light up the way, it would appear that she was afraid of the dark. Turning his head away from the Felis and peering back into the cave Joen had to admit, in this instance he didn't blame her, the darkness of the cave seemed endless as if it drew in and devoured all the light around it.

Joen flicked open his spell menu and turned his head towards the Felis and grinned "First lets do something about that smell" flicking over to the Illusion Magic category he clicked on a smell that would trick their sense of smell into thinking that they were smelling a field of flowers. Pressing the button Joen surrendered himself to the automatic assist program of Terrasphere and allowed the mystical chant to roll off of his tongue the power of the spell causing the air around the Felis female to shimmer as it altered her perception of smell. Flicking back over to the Pyromancy category Joen clicked on one of the spells that he had recently learned, it had nothing to do with combat so he had never tried to use it before. This spell was simply named Illumination and once its mystical chant had left his lips Joen raised his right hand and six small fireballs were conjured into existence.

Three of them floated behind Joen and the other three being the Felis female, turning his head Joen flashed her a grin hoping to ease her fear now that she would be able to see everything within a five meter radius of her, ten meters if the two of them stuck next to one another. What he wasn't going to tell her that to he had to constantly supply the fireballs with a small amount of mana to keep them ignited and this his energy bar was dropping constantly, the amount that they consumed with extremely minuscule so he wasn't worried at all, he was going to be the most powerful magic user in Terrasphere after all. Now that they could see what was ahead of them Joen stepped into the cave entrance and chuckled slightly "Knock Knock anybody home?"

  15. Celestine curiously glanced over at Joen as he flicked through his menu, or - to her - as he flicked at the air. It was a little strange looking, she thought, for the players to have invisible menus only visible to them. Thinking about it though, it added a lot of cool realism to the game, so there was nothing to complain about there. She just needed to keep that in mind for future reference.

A few moments passed and a new spell was cast, replacing the foul odour with a pleasantly sweet smell. “Mmm, lilacs,” she chimed. Actually she hadn’t the slightest clue whether or not really were lilacs, but it was definitely a flowery smell, so she figured it was close enough. “This is a smell of much more niceness. Thank you,” she spoke, trying to keep her voice down in case there were beasties which reacted to loud sounds.

If the flower smell had calmed her down slightly, the illumination spell drove the calming effect home, as it lit up the damp, rocky cave. Having the light glimmering off of edges of each sharp rock made the previously horrifying blackness almost cozy. Almost, if not for the deeper parts of the cave which still had far too much depth to be fully lit up by the simple spell. Her confidence bolstered by this light, Celly pressed forward beside Joen until a shiny glimmering caught her eye down a side-path.

“What is the object of shining over in that direction,” she whispered to Joen, pointing to the source. Running ahead slightly, the glimmering gave way to an oddly blobby looking silhouette. Celestine slowed herself as the light began to give the shape color. Green, mostly, along with a muddy color. A bulky, fat and slimy body led up to a very similar looking head: it was definitely a frog. A massive one: easily double the size of of her. As soon as the light creeping up it’s body hit it’s face, the creature, which seemed to be sleeping, stirred and - suddenly - the other colors were joined by the white of its eyes.

It looked like it was ‘sort of’ staring in their direction, though it looked a little fish-eyed. Either way, it was a hideous beast. It sat there, unmoving; as if it was just waiting for the two, strange, non-frog creatures to do something. Celestine sloooowly leaned over to Joen at her side and whispered out of the corner of her mouth. “Maybe we should be doing the timings of the magics again?”

She readied her menu and sent him a thumbs up to show she was ready, staring at him and waiting for his hand signal. All of a sudden, a massive, pink object snapped its way into her vision like a sticky rubber band, and snatched one of the fiery lights right by her head. She let out a squeak of surprise, shivering as a cold spray of what was probably saliva tickled her cheek.

To her surprise, Celly’s mouth was also muttering something on its own, and she turned to notice her thumb, which must have been pressed to the spell button in her shock. ‘Air Siren.’ Oh crap, that was not good. She tried to stop her mouth from continuing to form the words, but the automated system continued against her will, forcing her to complete the nonsensical incantation.

With the final words completed, the entire cave exploded into a loud, vibrating sound that resembled a tuba, which echoed through the cavern. Immediately, the frog hopped about in aggressive agitation, its stomach vibrating slightly as it seemed to prepare some sort of acid attack.
