"What the?" He looked over towards the young girl as he muttered to himself. Who was this? another noob player? He would be surprised if it was anywhere else but not here, in Brisshal. He just relaxed for half a day so it was doable but he didn't really feel like working with another noobie, he just worked with five other new players in the last week and it wasn't fun exactly.....especially with that damn SQURRIEL! He was really happy he didn't have to deal with that damn thing again, he take anyone over that thing but still this girl....was a new player and she didn't seem to look like the smart or common sense player. The mayor laughed a little as he laid his aged hand on his shoulder,
"My Lord, surely there can be no trouble in bringing an extra hand to aid you in your quest? After all she doesn't have to directly aid you in battle now."He snarked back at the mayor, slightly annoyed but still serious. Even if he was speaking the truth, she was much too inexperienced and didn't seem to have any idea of a battle really played out to be any help in battle, even in a supportive role. He closed his eyes as his crossed his arms,
"No, she's too inexperienced, hmph....just look at her, she get herself killed, it doesn't take a battle master to see that."His words were grim and dark but he mean't no disrespect, he spook the truth wether the girl wanted to hear it or not, he would not japodize the entire mission for a native girl who refused to listen and use common sense, if she had that than at least he could have something to work with.
The mayor simply cracked up some more before speaking, the mayor's was starting to irarite him now.
"Come now Lord Kurama, wasn't their a time when you were in her shoes? when you were weak and powerless? But when you were her, you didn't have someone like yourself now? Damm that old man! He really knew how to get under his skin, well he really knew what to say at the right time, there was a reason he was incharge of this town and why it had survived for song. As much as he hated to admit, the damn mayor was right but still, of all people, why him? why? He didn't understand, he wasn't the person for this type of thing, he was becoming a mentor to new players and he didn't even ask for it!
"Yes but this is differ" The Mayor cut him off before Seto could finish what he had wanted to say, The mayor was really starting to piss him off now, dammit he knew now the mayor wouldn't drop this subject until he said yes.
"How about....you take the young girl with you as your apprentice for the time being? You could teach her how to conducted battle like House Kurama warriors used to in days passed? Surely you could do that for one quest?" APPRENTICE? Seto nearly crapped his pants when he heard that, her? that blonde girl over there? as his apprentice? The mayor couldn't be damm serious about this? Could he? Deep down though, he knew the mayor was dead serious about the matter. If it was another town or village, he just simply leave but he considered Dawngrave as his home base of operations since the withdraw of the witch some time ago.
"Her? As my apprentice? don't make me laugh, she wouldn't last a week under my tutelage. There's a reason why House Kurama was destroyed, only we wielded Odachi's big as a man to slay large beats that the masses could not and you say she has the potenial?" The Mayor sighed after hearing Seto's words in action, he than walked over to the young girl and spook to her politely ,
"My fair girl, what do you think of this? Are you up for the challenge?" he then whispered into her ear,
"The Young lord might come off mean but deep down, he is really a giant teddy bear on the inside." He cracked up some more as he looked back at Seto before speaking.
"Lord Kurama....Please do it for me." He pleaded with Seto, this time there was no talk, only a let down of a sigh, he gave up, he knew at this point, he couldn't really say no to the mayor now otherwise the town would look down for him. After spending a moment to collect his thoughts, he looked back up the Mayor,
"Fine than." He said in a serious manner, before anyone could say anthing in the moments that transpired afterwars, Christina appeared from another street on top of a wagon being pulled by a brown horse, she herself was wearing a blue cloak with a hood but right now it was down, showing a young woman in her twenties with long brown hair and green eyes. She didn't hesitate to yell out towards Seto as if she already knew she was going to be escorted by Seto, damm he didn't think the mayor would of thought that far ahead, nor did he think he was that predicable.
"My Lord! we must be really be on our way, we must return urgently with the herbs or Annalessia could die!" Hearing her voice, he looked at her, than the mayor than finally the girl and began walking towards the hill they used for wagons,
"Right, lets go than."
