"What the Hell? He heard a familiar voice, he looked behind him showing Solaria behind him with Christina as she explained her reasons to come to the front. At this point he didn't care as long as she stayed out of his way since he couldn't protect her and go on the offensive at the time time. "Do what you need too, Just get Christina's corpse out of here first, after that it doesn't matter to me what you do, just stay out of the way, I can't protect you and go on the offensive at the same time."​

Bringing his attention back to the field of battle at hand, he raised his Odachi high above his head in a horizontal position as the Pigmen Ringleader's blade came falling down opon him. Holding his Odachi's tight, the Odachi halted the advance of the beast's large sword, in fact, due to the size of the blade, the beasts sword oushed him nearly a feet back. He could feel the determination by the beast by the instant halt to his sword's momentum. Steadying his body, he gathered all the strength he could muster into his arms muscles and urged the blade forward, slowly forcing it into the air, forcing the beast backwards. This gave him enough time for an opening, loosening his grip on the Odachi's hilt, he let the momentum drive the swords backwards, twictching his hands he brough the blade under, performing an uppercut sweeping attack on the beast. The Pigmen Ringleader was caought off guard completely as the blade entered into it's skin and ripped itself through yet the bastard was tough indeed, instead of dying after being ripped in half, instead in it's place was a long deep cut down his stomach. Falling back with his Odachi with his blade high in the air behind him, He charged in yet again, shifting his weight so that the momentum continued carrying his body forward. Using the continued momentum, Seto performed a similar attack to one he did earlier, attacking like a angry bull, he brought his blade down again in another vertical strake, only this time it was avoided by the Pigmen Ringleader. Before he could recover the injured Pigmen took a strike at him with the club slamming itself into his pouldron, Forcing him to his knee's for a second.

With that last Attack, Seto had let his guard down, being so focused on the leader that he had completely neglected to take the other beast into account. He watched as his Puldron began to craxk with the edges beginng to crack off. That blow did a number to his shoulder pieace and now his shoulder was in pain, it was hard to move it without feeling the pain, he was now going to have to take a more defensive stance if he hoped to kill these bastards, perhaps he could withdraw for the time being......no wait what was he thinking? If he did that Solaria and Christina would die......Wait did he actually care about people now?These thoughts were giving him a headache, he shook his head, pushing himself himself upright with his blade in hand, This fight was not going to be easy but he wouldn't have it any other way. So far he had taken many hits, yet he was still standing and managed to bring down one pigmen down already with the other two were significant damaged, If he played his cards right, he could also bring down these two bastards.​

Christina's unconscious body startled her, but only the slightest bit. She could only imagine what would have happened if she rushed in as usual- that'd be her, and it'd be far from pretty. However, it appeared the woman wasn't dead, which let her release a sigh of relief as she lifted the body and carried it, along with a club found on the ground by a pigmen's corpse in one hand. She dragged the club behind her carefully, finding herself back at the wagon and lifting the limp lady into her seat. "Sorry, Christina. Rest for a while. I need to help Seto for both of us, now."

She used a small enchantment on the weapon, her proficient illumancy helping her a bit more than it had before. Rushing into battle, it took all her strength to slam the club she had no habit of weilding into the remaining injured Pigmen. It was better to get rid of the crowd before taking on the ring-leader, wasn't it?

"Seto, let's work together now. It's not safe on your own. I'll help keep them at bay and heal you as I can- focus on the ringleader. I've got this guy. They'll pay for hurting Christina!"

Just as he was about to attack the injured beast, his eyes widened in surprise as he watched Solaria rush passed with great haste as she slammed the club she was wielding into the injured beast. Did...did he just witness a woman run pass him with a huge club and just smacked the living crap out of that beast over there? "I don't think I was ready for today" he muttered to himself. That was just a pure shocker to him, he really wasn't expecting something like that and it was enchanted by white magic? no wonder it also did so much damage to the injured beast. She than called towards him and told him that she wanted to work together to kill these two last monsters, that was fine in his books for now. "That works for me for now, Take down that ass than join me if your able, I doubt this will be over this easily."​

When the club crashed into the ground, he could have pressed the attack to finish off that beast with his blade but as that beast became engulfed in pain and roared out loud as proof, there was no need as it stood stunned from Solaria's last attack, it wouldn't take much to finish it off now. Facing the ringleader now, despite being in pain he smirked at the beast as he pushed his right lef backwards as he readied himself for another charge, with the other one distracted and stunned he didn't have to worry about getting hit during recovery. Although he wouldn't be able to finish it off with one more blow, They were getting pretty close to this battle ending. As he stared at the beast, he could feel the dirt being kicked up into the air as the wind began to pick up widely. Without a word as the silence built up, Seto took off with his blade close behind and charged the beast, hoping to get one more vital attack in before finishing the beast off.​

Half of her was shocked he'd agreed to the plan, but with his acceptance of the offer and input on how to proceed, she gave a serious nod, a solemn stare being cast towards the nearly finished pigmen she'd taken over fighting. "Let's get rid of you for good, little piggy. It's time for you to go home where you belong."

Even Solaria found her attempt at a finishing joke pathetic, but it was pointless to worry too hard. Instead, she moved in to attack, smashing with the heavy weapon once more. It was hard work, but it was kind of fun!

"These things are pretty tough for pork rinds," She muttered, finding it difficult to finish the beast off. "Then again, they must be strong carrying these lugs around. Are they muscle maniacs or something?"

She looked towards Seto and the leader. "If your HP gets too low, don't forget to gimme a warning. I'll heal you the best I can after this guy's down!"

Gripping the hilt of his Odachi tightly with both of his hands, he slammed the blade down on the ringleader with another verticale strike towards the chest, only missing by a few inches as the ringleaded somehow dodged the blade, forcing the Odachi's blade to hit the ground, creating a massive crack down the middle of the road where it crashed into the road. Grabbing his strength again, he pulled the Odachi out of the ground using all his strength, using the momentum from puling it out out of the ground, he swung the blade that started as a uppercut attack that took the shape afterwards as a full spiral, performing a three hundred sixty degree attack, swinging the huge blade in all direction caought the ring leader off guard again. Falling to his knee's out of exhaustion again, he nodded at Solaria's comment to work together. He took the next minute to catch his breath before he choose to speak again to Solaria when she made the comment about the monsters being strong

'Don't take them lightly, they have to be strong because they raid villages and towns for victims.......they use them for........breeding to replenish their numbers.......There's a reason there called PIG-MEN" Picking himself up as the ringleader approached him, he looked at Solaria again as he spat some blood out of his mouth. "Worry about yourself for now, am tougher than I look and If I have a warrior's death, I am contempt with that if it happens."​

Raising his Odachi above his head, he brought the end of the blade down to his mouth, turning his face up towards the ringleader as she ran her tongue across the bone's edge, completely focused on the ringleader he waited in perfect motion as a drop of the ringleader blood soaked the lower tipe of his Odachi. When the beast came closer, with a twitch of the wrist, the Odachi changed positions as he lunged forwards, unleashing a pair of lighting fast sweeps at the ring leader's arms and chest​

"But if I don't worry about you, what kind of Illumancer am I? Or for that matter, person?" She felt like pouting, but the war was still raging on- there was no way she was going to just sit there and let him do all the work. He did say earlier on as well that he was a tough nut to crack, and she knew Christina had said the same. With aid from watching him, she could tell he was definitely able to hold his own.

Unlike her, who was weilding a weapon she was far from meant to hold in her hands. "And unlike you, whether you have a warrior's death or not, I'm NOT okay with it happening, and I know Christina isn't either!"

After being hit by the same bludgeon she used against it, she was relieved there was no holy damage included- though honestly, part of her wondered if it might've saved her a bit of pain, considering that beast managed to get a good fifth of her health in one blow.

"Strong is definitely one way to put it. I might use a different term...Like barbaric." Jolting back as another swing was sent towards her, she rushed herself into another swing of the enchanted club. "Okay, time to finish you off, piglet."

It eventually became apparent the ring leader's attempt to dodge, counter strike or parry became slimmer and slimmer the longer Seto continued his assault, eventually able to land a blindingly fast blow. The Odachi slammed into the ring leader's side causing the beast to jerk back as roared in pain. He fell to his knee's due to exhaustion again, his shoulder wound had opened up again from earlier where a pigman had scored a hit on his shoulder. This pain had become more difficult to control now which had also begun affecting his concentration. It was only now did he notice Solaria speaking to him about looking out for him, she wasn't fine with a warrior's death? why? the only conclusion he could come to was the obivous one for people like him, she must not be a true warrior like him who followed the way of the warrior, he sighed at her comet as he spat out more blood at the ground.​

"To ask.....a warrior....such a question only proves.....you are no true warrior....yourself."

He than watched her take off as she assaulted the wounded pigmen and finally managed to bring it down after a number of blows. She may be no true warrior but at least she managed to kill something he thought to himself. He turned his attention to the ringleader who decided to charge him, he barely had any time to react as the ringleader drove it's huge sword down on him, this time he didn't think however due to the blood loss from one of his many wounds. Holding his blade horizontal, he attempted to parry the blade but it only took moments to see that wasn't going to work out as plan as his muscles began to give out. The ringleader took advantage of his weakness, kicking him straight in the gut, forcing Seto to drop his Odachi on the ground from the sheer amount of pain. Before he could even fall to the ground, the ringleader laughed in his monsterous tone as he brought down his sword in a under slash attack. The blade slammed into the side of Seto's cuirass and cracked through it, forcing it's way into his flesh. There was anguish, the strength of the beast and the momentum of the blade combined forced seto back, throwing back into a tree behind him.

Blood running down his head, his eye vision becoming blurry, he looked over to his right arm, he couldn't feel his arm, he tried over and over trying to lift it but he couldn't. At the same time he it was becoming incrediably difficult to stay awake, was this how it felt to die in battle? he thought that to himself in his presumed final moments, he couldn't do anything, his body wouldn't let him out of the pain that was inflicted or beacuse he couldn't feel anything. Using the last of his strength, he called out for Solaria one last time, "No maatter...no matter what happens...rgh..to me, pro...protect Christtina...at all cost.....she is.....the only....one who can...save the....people in....Dawngrave......I entrust you now as...Dawngrave's......Guardian........Do your duty Sola............I am......sorry Alia." With the last of his energy now gone, his head immediately lowered, his bangs covered his eyes, it had appeared as if he was truly dead as blood contiuned to seep out through his wounds and to the the ground. On the other hand, the ringleader although wounded began making his way towards Christina, surely Solaria couldn't save both of them could she? perhaps she would have to make a choice she wouldn't want to? unknowngly to both of them, the vile beast within still lived and it was about time for him to join the party.​

"I'm not letting you die that easily, not on my watch. I have some health left, and I'm not letting them get past me either. Christina might very kill me when she wakes up anyway, if it doesn't kill me first."

She wasn't sure she could attack in the same moment as healing, and it was too dangerous to let the creature rampage either. She had to decide quickly what to do. The blood spewing from his mouth made her feel sick, but even more so did his words. He sounded like he was giving up- and that wasn't something she'd accept, no matter what.

"First I'll kick the piggy's butt, then I'm getting you back to the wagon to rest. I'm not Dawngrave's Guardian. I'm merely your aid. Don't go getting our roles mixed up so easily, not when you set it up."

Ramming at the boss with her holy club one last time, she could only pray it'd finish the job. She could see it was low on health itself, nearly matching the warrior at her side. "I won't let you hurt kind people anymore. It's time go to home, little piggy. Your mama's certainly waiting for you there." With a crash, she treated the grotesque creature to a nearly sledgehammer-like swing, raising dirt into the air in the midst of it all.

As the dust settled, she could only wonder...Had she done her duty well enough?

The ringleader snorted and laughed at Solaria and her comments to save her nearly dead companion and it's next plaything in the wagon. It didn't matter to it what happened to the human male dying but it wanted the two human females alive for his pen back at his den, it would make them his personal playthings and use them for his sinister goals. More laughter filled the air as the ringleader
watched the tiny girl soar through the sky with her club in hand, her fun was cut short however when he could read her movements clear as day. When she threw herself at it with her club in hand, the beast raised it's sword as he parried her attacking and began pushing it's blade forward. Wanting to win at all costs, not to mention it didn't want to kill her, it raised it's large purple leg and forcibly kicked it into Solaria's gut before bringing it's blade down in another attack to inflict more damage upon it's future plaything. With her far enough away, it looked down and saw Seto's Odachi on the ground and attempted to pick it up to use it for his needs.

Seto's body contuned to lay agianst the tree as before, countiuing it's silence as per usual for a dead corpse......or someone who was dying, Seto wasn't dead....yet but he had lost his ability to move or speak and the added blood leaking from his corpse wasn't helping. Deep inside however, his Consciouses were still alive and well, waring on each other, at the rate the vile beast winning, it wouldn' take long for Seto to loose control what remained of his body to Vile Seto.

"I....I refuse....I woul....d rather die.....a warrior's....death than....allow...you control....of my body...once mo....re." The vile demon simply laughed at his words.

"Fool! You can't refuse me! It won't be long now! you can't hold me in this cage for much longer in your state! Let me out and I can save your sorry ass soul!.....Of course your body will belong to me but that's a small price to pay isn't it to survive?"

For a giant tub of living lard, the pig was mighty fast compared to the weakling before. There wasn't much time until Seto was going to bleed out completely- one more move at most, based on what she was seeing. She had two choices, and neither was very good when she considered them, actually trying to think it through for once.

It felt like a test at school- only this time, there was no right answer, only wrong ones. The moment she looked away to heal Seto, the monster would get an advantage more than he had- but if she didn't, Seto would surely die. The longer she thought, the more time she was wasting, and the more time Seto would have to lose the rest of his health.

"Screw it! I'm not letting you win. I'm not letting him die. I'll find the third option!"

Taking one last swing, she knew she couldn't curse the pig to hell- but she could at least keep it from being Seto's death completely. If she was fast enough, she might get a chance to heal him. And, considering Seto was talking, there might still be time- though the fact he was talking to himself was a clear sign to her of delusions, showing just how short of time he was.

Still, she'd made a vow. "Sorry, pig, but I made a promise, and you've pissed me off one too many times. This time for sure, I'll be eating bacon for lunch."

Her words had hit the beast like a feather, it did nothing but feed his hunger to laugh more at the human female as she became more fustrated over the situation,it only became harder for it to stop laughing as she in vain came at the beast, swinging the club like a wild woman, determined to bring him down. Unoforunetely the beast wasn't going to allow her to have her way. With unnatural speed for his size, the massive beast raised his leg once again, slamming it's disguisting foot against Solaria's chest. The force could be enough to knock Solaria off her feet and on her behind on the ground. In one swift motion, the beast's massive hands wielded Seto's Odachi like some brut, nearly crushing the hilt as the beast tried to stab the ground where Solaria had fallen before charging after her.

It was over....It was finally over, Seto found his Consciouses had nearly drifted away, he couldn't think, he couldn't fight, he couldn't even look at himself anymore, it felt like his very being was being erased before his eyes yet he couldn't do anything, if this was how someone died, it was a fate unimangable. On the other side of his mind however sat the vile demon who laughed in enjoyment as his other side laid there essentially dead, death itself was engaulfing his brother! This was good, this was very good for the vile demon!

"FINALLY! I AM FREE TO WRECK HAVOIC ON THIS PITIFUL WORLD! But first things first, that idiotic fool damaged my body almost beyond recovery. I'll have to use my power to restore this body than I will devour that beast who destroyed my body."

His cell was finally unlocked! He could finally escape and take control of this pitiful body he lived in. Of course the idiot who controlled this body from before had nearly destroyed it with all the damage it sustained but now he was in control and he could the power of the dark arts to heal his body using the power of darkness. On the outside, Laying agianst the tree, Seto's now presumed dead corpse began pulsing out a faint yet decaying, ebony aura around his body.

This was likely the worst battle she'd been in- and she'd fought Mycolossus! Her heart pounding, she could barely look to the man behind her, death emitting it's ugly head right in view. Her body was shivering in a cold sweat. She didn't have much left in her, and she was very possibly going to die herself. "I can't...Let you hurt her. I can't let you hurt them anymore. I can't give up...Not even if it kills me!"

Trying to swing the club like a kendo shinai, she could only pray it would work easier. It wasn't a sword, she couldn't use it as a slashing weapon no matter how much she wanted to- but she could pray that using the one fighting method she'd longed to use for most of her life, to the point she'd taken classes both online and at a nearby school at home...Surely, her passion would shine through, saving her butt. Wouldn't it?

"I'm not just doing this for me. Not anymore. This isn't pride...this is revenge. Revenge for hurting someone who could have been a new friend, for hurting Christina...It's no longer a mission. It's revenge. And that's why...I'll swing like my sword, your companion's weapon will become one with my body. No matter how you try...You won't break my spirit, you fool!"
