  1. Christina fell on her behind when she saw Seto materialize right in front of her! Where he come from? How did he do that? WHY wasn't Sola concerned? That was really just the tip of the iceburg! One minute she was collecting herbs and talking to Sola than the next minute a bunch of idiots ran passed them and dropped a egg and now some big scary thing was lurking in the shadows about to kill them! It had already tried to kill her and it would had suceeded if Seto hadn't saved her! Despite Seto didn't recover yet from earlier, he still managed to deflect a monsterous hit from kill her, how he manage that? She latched herself onto Seto from behind and wrapped her arms around him as he stood halfway on one knee hugging him "OH thank you my lord for rescuing me, I was so scared! I thought I was going to die!" Christina was apparently grateful for him rescuing her but Seto didn't take a liking to it though, he rolled his eyes as she hugged him before shouting "SOMEONE GET THIS WOMAN OFF ME!" Now Sola didn't answer him like he was expecting, instead it was the large shadow of the forest calling itself the Wise King of the Forest whom spoke to the three.

"Silence mortals! You are no better than the thieves that stole my Tamago by simply touching it with the filth you call hands! You have corrupted it with your filth and now you must be destroyed! NOW Prepare yourselves mortals and feast your pitiful eyes on upon my teriffying and awe waying form!

After of the ruckus of a crater formed some fifteen foot away as it's body smashed into the ground, It stumped, crushed and clawed anything in its way, Seto threw Christina off him as he picked himself off from the ground and stood on his own two feet again with his Odachi raised in a forward position ready to attack at any moment. Whatever bravery she had before with the Pigmen was gone as Christina coward behind Seto, whatever was coming was huge! Stepping past a few tree's out of the shadow's stood the almighty Wise King of the Forest!

Seto couldn't believe what the hell he was looking at! "SERIOULSY??" "REALLY???" Those two words alone kept running through his mind and he simply couldn't get over it! He had such high expectations for this wise king and yet it was......the opposite of what he was expecting. This information mind screwed him so well, just looking at the beast and the constant thinking of it made him faint! Seto's body collasped to the floor along with his Odachi's following suit! Christina on the other hand didn't care what it looked like! The damm thing was still like thirty feet tall and it's damm glowing eyes were still damm scary! She was shaking so much she just wanted to run but her legs out of fear wouldn't let her! It was made only worse when Seto fell to the ground, She followed Seto's example but she was still awake, instead she didn't believe he was knocked out "My lord please! We need you! I need you! Sola needs you! Don't you die on me! Lady Alia will never forgive me, Sola or you! Come on!" Her constant begging went unanswered which ended up with her crying over his back until she saw his Odachi on the ground, she looked at it than at Sola and rinse and repeat until she put the math together! Grabbing his sword, albeit barley! She didn't realize how heavy it was! How the hell did Seto carry this thing? How the bloody hell did he use it effectively? She put her thoughts aside and threw it towards Sola's feet before hollering out toward her "USE THE BLOODY SWORD!"

One can attack the monster but such a thing would probably result in death probably? One could attempt to be peacful although it may lead to distaster? There is always the choice of running away with or without the herbs and Seto? What will the group do?

  2. A sword thrown at her startled her, but what startled her more was just the kind of form the creature was. Was that...A giant rabbit? She'd seen such creatures used a lot as evil ones in anime and books, but the fact there was a giant bunny right before her, seemingly on the offense, shocked her.

She picked up the sword and stuck it slightly into the ground beside her. There was no reason to fight this creature- something deep inside her told her that. Looking behind her, she frowned at the sight of Seto collapsed once more, but returned soon after to look at the creature.

"Your baby here...I noticed when peering into it that it was harmed during the chase with those robbers. When I touched it, I felt it kicking. I think it wants to come out soon...So, before it does, I opted to heal it while I held it near me. I'm sorry for doing such a thing. I just didn't want it to lose out on meeting the parent that loves it so much."

A slightly sad smile graced her face as she let the egg gently rest upon the grass before her, in front of the great king. "My brother never met our mother, you see. To me...A child not getting to be with their parent is far too painful. If you refuse to keep your child because of human touch, I'll tend to it myself from now on. However, I beg you to please not harm this child..."

Unexpectedly, she felt tears falling from her eyes. She was already attached to the egg, as if it were her baby brother in this world. She was reminded of some terrible times during high school.

"When a child is left without a parent...No matter the reason, they'll blame themselves. My brother blames himself for our mother's death, even if he had done nothing more than been born. Please, let this child smile. Don't make it regret it's birth like him...Let it thrive, happily, with you."

  4. The Wise King grew impatient with Sola it had no interest in what she to say, frankly, it found her words somewhat amusing as if she actually understood the situation she was in when in reality, Sola was the furthest from the truth and by how the passionate words she spoke, the little girl would probably break when she learned the truth from the mighty king itself. It had enough of her talk about meeting a parent or when an offspring was left without a parent, it really wanted to eat her, thankfully he had already caught up with his dinner. "SILENCE! You mortals and your incompetence is nothing short of foolery! You think just because I own the life of that Tamago, you think it's of my brood? Foolish girl! Witness the truth before your demise!"

With a single swipe of its mighty tail towards Sola, the tail would force her to drop the egg and dodge out of the way to save herself or get slammed by it and possibly be thrown into a tree or shrub. Whatever she chose, The Wise King used it's tail to grab the egg and hovered it over near its mouth. It waited until Sola was able to pick herself up and grabbed her attention once she did.

"Witness foolish girl! This is a pure mermaid Tamago! A rare delicacy my followers have brought me! Feast your eyes as I devour this newborn mermaid to feed my flesh and body!"

Using the muscles of its tail, the mermaid egg shattered into two, out came a beautiful pale skin girl with short blond hair, it's underbody scales and fins were green of a Christmas tree. The Wise King didn't let the newborn hit the ground, instead catching it with the paws of its hands. It made sure to stare at Sola as it slowly lowered the newborn into's its mouth before finally crushing it in its mouth in one full bite before swallowing it whole. The Wise King left a mess around its feet with an arm and fin laying on the ground bloodied, to The Wise King, it was quite delicious, in fact, it was one of his favorite meals!

"ughh......I can't believe this damm rabbit the king of the forest!" Seto made his presence known when he finally picked himself up again from passing out due to the mind fuck this rabbit had pulled on him! He was, after all, expecting something.....actually scary.....or tough. He had always imagined the almighty Wise King of the Forest was a mighty dragon or Wyvern but no, instead what he got was an overrated, large rabbit! This wasn't going to work for him, he just wanted the thing dead now so they could move on. His Odachi wasn't in his hand, he obviously must have had sheathed it in his saya right? wrong! when he went to grab it, there was nothing there, where in the bloody hell was his sword he wondered? Looking around he saw his sword some ten feet away, "How did it get there?" He muttered. Using the energy in his body, he Teleported himself where the blade laid on the ground. Upon picking up the blade, he heard the laughter of the giant rabbit. "Feeling the despair radiating from your body, I can dying warrior!" Seto grinned his teeth at the slight frustration that oversized hairball was mocking him. Him scared of a rabbit? It had to be joking! Up until now though, he had never gotten a good look at the monster. By the color of its fur, its size, and its eyes, sudden memories of past days during the beta of Terrapshere came into the light! He swore he knew what species this rabbit was apart of. Standing ever vigilant against the monster, he yelled out towards it with a question of his own.

"So-called guardian of the forest, Let me answer you one question. Are you part of the Monstu no Satsugai Hare species?"

For a moment there was silence, the beast hesitated before finally speaking, this time much to Seto's surprise, it was something on the line of a cute tone. "How....How is it you know of my species? Seto rubbed the back of his neck as he laughed nervously "Riiiiiight.....uhh....How to explain this......During times past, I knew a group of allies that had pets that looked exactly like you Wise King of the Forest." The Hare looked thrilled to death to hear this news, especially by the tone of his voice, Seto on the other hand well returned to how he usually was"Wow! So cool! If you know others of my race, can you tell me? Yes?" The Hare started to plead, Seto in some way found it adorable to say at the least. "I need to breed to create offspring like you and that elf I do! Or else I will fail my race!" Seto stepped a foot back laughing nervously "That's uh....quite impossible with uhh...your size......." The Hare pouted and sighed heavily, it really wanted to see its own kind and wanted its own offspring, having been told it could never must have been hard, Seto for one reason or another sympathized with the Hare "Sorry." He shrugged his shoulders, he didn't know what else to tell the Hare. "It's ok.....NOW WE SHOULD BEGIN OUR CLIMATIC BATTLE!" The Hare's voice changed to its previous voice before as it began talking of battling Seto, meanwhile the top of his sword clinged against the ground in disappointment. "No.......I was expecting someone with a tittle like that to be.....stronger.........What a letdown............A complete letdown." As Seto continued to talk to himself out loud, the Hare continued to annoy Seto with his pleads to fight him, Seto had no intention of battling such a.....monster yeah. The Hare having wasted enough time pleading went on the offensive, dashing at Seto at full speed to get it's combat fix, Seto wasn't had it!

"Am not......doing this.......no" He muttered out loud, raising his Odachi's blade at the dashing Hare, he activated one of his spells, causing a black like aura to take form over the blade that rippled over the blade like fire "Ascended Despair!.....Level IV!" He shouted out! What came next was a quick ray of ebony light causing the Hare to fall on it's behind! The next thing he heard after the Hare's body had hit the ground was it's cute tone of voice again! "My loss! My loss! I surrender! I do!" Immediately the Hare began to shrink in form until it was the size of a normal Hare found in the real world.
"It is only an animal after all." He sighed as he walked up to the Hare and picked it up with his hands "Master!" Seto nearly fell on his own behind when it spook to him in it's cute girly voice "ugh! nope! am not your master, Am going to give you to your true master." He stuck his tongue out at the thing at the very idea of having something like this for a pet, there was no way it was going to fly for him but he knew someone who would enjoy this fluffy thing you call a pet. Looking around he noticed Sola in the distance, he teleported to her position and pointed his index finger at her "This is your true master! Not me, got it?" "Ok!" It yelled out happily, jumping itself out of Seto's hands and onto Sola's head where it began to nimble on her hair."He's yours now and no you can't kill it, You don't want to know what will happen either If you do."

  5. Although she understood what the creature meant about breeding, she couldn't help giggling as she gave a light elbow to the man next to her at the time. "We're not breeding together, m'lord. Just on a journey." Sure, she'd admit Seto was her type in some ways- namely, his name was Japanese and he was a bit on the edgy side oftentimes, which entertained her. But even Solaria wouldn't rush in quite that much! Though, on the other hand, she did rush away when she saw the young girl hatch from the egg being eaten before her eyes.

From afar, Solaria watched the exchange in utter disbelief. What was the point of what just happened? And why had it eaten the strange girl that was in the egg? No, that wasn't the weirdest thing to happen, even as she felt tears in her eyes for the innocent creature that was eaten before her. The rabbit was shrinking, turning into a small, normal rabbit in her mind.

Well, a normal talking rabbit, if those existed anywhere. It was a game, so who could say?

"I wouldn't hurt it if it asked me to generally," Her retort was said with puffed cheeks, eyes on Seto as he spoke to her. She'd only left the battle because she didn't want to be seen crying- and, to be honest, her head hurt still. "Besides, he's sweet." Wait, he? Was it a he? It'd been called the king, so she could only assume it was male. It'd be the queen otherwise, right?

She moved a hand upon her head to pet the rabbit that nibbled at her hair, trying not to laugh. "I doubt my hair is all that tasty. I'll find you something better to eat later. First, we have to go deliver those herbs with Christina. Right, Seto?"

  6. Seto shrugged when she asked him about the gender of the rabbit, how in the bloody hell would he know? He wasn't no expert on rabbit biology! Unless the thing had a penis visable, he would have no clue, hell he never even had a cat or dog as a kid so he had never really thought about such things, seeing animals as too trival for him to worry about. "Don't look at me, I have no bloody clue if it's a male or female? Aren't you a nurse in training? Clearly you should be able to tell If it has a penis or vagina." He had became slightly disgusted as Sola let her new pet nimbled on her hair, she of course told it she would find something better for it to eat, for a nurse she didn't know that much he thought, the rabbit was most likely getting rid of her dead bangs in her hair to let new hair grow. Seto smirked at her when she told him they had to deliver those herbs the two had collected earler. "Nope! uhhh..am about to pass out again from using too much energy in about ten seconds, I apparently borrowed too much energy for that last spell so am returning to the wagon now." With his sarcastic words spoken, he turned to the direction of the wagon and placed his index and middle fingers on his forehead, instantly teleported himself back to the end of the wagon where he instantly fell back on his back and began snoring as he began to sleep from being exhauted.

Christina despite all what had happened in the last five to ten minutes had still stood where she had orginally when The Wise King of the forest appeared. She was so mind screwed by what happened, her mind was nearly blank until she was eventually able to slap herself back to reality. It took a few minutes for her to take everything in from Sola having a rabbit on her head to limbs of a fish on the ground? ewwww she thought when she saw the fin and the human arm. Looking over she saw her basket on the ground tipped over, luckily none of the herbs fell out! grabbing the basket and strapped it again back to her back, she looked back in the direction of Sola and called out to her "HEY SOLA! Come lets head back to the wagon! Looks like Seto has already beaten us, Come on I'll race ya!" She wasn't completely serious but she had enough of the forest for one day or rather a year for that matter! Waving for Sola to follow If she could even see her wave, she sprinited through the forest edge and found herself in view of the wagon but when she got there, she saw what remained of the two raiders that had ran passed them earlier, there corpses were cut open and partly in pieces with there entrails litering the ground, there blood was everywhere from the side of the wagon, to the ground and even some of the shurbs and tree's. "Who did this? Was this Seto's handy work?" Considering how badly their bodies were cut, who else could it be?

  7. Joining Christina at the wagon to see the corpses, the healing warrior paled at the sight. Sure, she'd seen corpses like these in pictures. They did dissections and the like in classes, but never on actual people. Wait, did these count as actual people? They were AI...But they looked realistic enough to be stronger on her mind than the anatomical models she was used to...

"It could have been Seto but...I was just with him before you called to me. We met the supposed king of the forest..." She pointed at the rabbit that still appeared to be enjoying her hair as a snack. "He seems to like me now. But...Seto used a lot of energy."

Looking for Seto in the wagon, she found herself a spot and rested herself against the wood. "I hate to leave them there, but I don't really know what the right thing to do with such maimed bodies is. I can't revive them now, so...It's kind of a tough situation to make a call..."

  8. Christina shrugged her shoulders at Sola's comment, no matter what happened, they had the herbs they needed and they needed to get back to Dawngrave. "Oh well, it doesn't matter now! Come on, we need to get going!" She hoped herself into the helm of the wagon with the horses still their grazing on the grass. Looking back in her seat is when Sola mentioned the rabbit on her head being the Wise King, Christina on the other hand nearly fell out of her seat laughing before wiping the tears from the edge of her eyes, Sola made a good joke, how could a tiny rabbit like that be the Wise King she thought to herself. "Good one Sola! now get in the wagon time to leave!"

"Don't fool yourself, of course, I killed them, who else could have? I slaughtered those idiotic raiders before I teleported to your position." He turned his back over to face Sola, He let out a yawn while he laid his arms beyond his back as a pillow, he was sorta amused by the two figuring out who killed them, He really thought it would had been obivous now but apparently now. Looking up into the sky, he felt the wagon slowly moving along on the path as they went over a pothole, he was too tired to care honestly at this point, he was thankful the day's work was most likely over. After a few minutes laying on his back watching the sky, he picked himself up and laid agianst Christina's seat in the back before looking back at Sola. "Alright hit me.....I know you been dying to ask, I could feel those eyes burning into my head you know." He was sure Sola probably had a boatload of questions to ask him, what would be the first he wondered?

  9. Relaxed in the wagon, she'd forgotten she had more questions than answers earlier to her worries about the man that rested before her. He was keen to know what she was interested in, which she admitted to herself was one of his good points. However, she was still a bit disheveled by the corpses he took pride in having made. The rabbit on her head seemed to notice her concern and blurted out, "Come on kid! Out with it! What's on your mind?"

She felt herself jerk a bit, nearly falling down against the seat. She'd forgotten already this rabbit once talked to them...And was very interested in her for some reason or another as well. While she wanted to ask it about itself instead of bugging Seto about things she knew would harm his mind, she shook off the worry visibly before bending forward, wanting to better look the resting man in the eye.

"In your sleep, you were having a nightmare, trying to protect us from something...And you mentioned Merkaba a multitude of times, both when you were supposed to be at rest and when you were in a strange state of mind that clearly wasn't you yourself. I want you to tell me who Merkaba is, and what they did to you...And why you were in a frenzied panic, particularly over me."

A sigh left her as she closed her eyes, remembering his night terror'd body's tantrum clearly. "I mean, I can understand your worries for Christina, but I heard my name quite a few times when you called out loud. Nothing I did could ease the pain then, and that's probably the same now, but I want to know all the facts just because of this knowledge. If I know, I can do more to help in the future, even if I can't do a damn thing right at this very moment."

  10. There was hesitation from Sola after he told her she could ask him anything she wanted within reason, she must have been scared to ask or didn't know what to ask him, it wasn't every day he allowed people to prope him for information but he felt obligated with Sola for some reason. A chuckle came from him when Sola's new pet rabbit yelled at her to already ask him, apparently her pet didn't have the patience for her either. As a result, she nearly fell off her seat and out of the wagon. She had to regain her posture before she finally managed to pull herself together again and asked him about Merkaba and as well as his nightmare. "Merkaba" was a name he could never forget, how could he? She was the one responsible for what had became currently. Looking the other way aacross the plains, he laid his right arm on the side of the wagon before inhaling and exhaling heavily.

"Did you ever......once think WHY.....I walk alone down a dark path where no one can follow?.....Merkaba...........She was.....my master......my mistress.........Merkaba was a witch....an incrediably strong witch, possibly the most powerful dark user on Terrasphere during her time.......Merkaba through a ritual I do not know of created Vile Seto.....better known as the monster that lives within my body.....you already seen it in action......It's power is something I will never have unless I destroy it.......yet It cannot be destroyed by normal means, it is no spirit or an actual demon living within me......no.........That monster......is me.....or rather half of my soul.........half of my soul......is currupted......and only I.......can kill the beast.....yet I do not have the strength to do so. You seen what it's done......whats it's capable of....yet that is nothing in comparision.......While Merkaba was alive.....Vile Seto or that monster.......was always out and in control of my body, I watched helplessly from the window of my mind as he countlessly destroyed entire villages and towns, killing everyone and raping the women he took to a likening......Do you have any idea what that does to a person? That is....just as worse as the war I fought in real life....only I saw the flames of war taken to the extreme and I couldn't look away. Since Merkaba's presumed passing during the final battle of the war last season, I have managed to keep the beast under wraps but there's even times when I falter....I am only human......When near death, there is no hope, he will take control of my body and fight with a salavgery I can't even explain, it can only be witinessed.....Be thankful your still alive, hundreds.....If not thousands have died under my Odachi's blade and their blood......is on me."

ooo He took another breath to slightly relax himself as he sighed heavily. He looked over his shoulder to his Odachi thay laid on the wagon's floor before out towards the plains again.

"What you heard in my sleep......happens every night here......why? beacuse the monster lives within my own body.....deep within there is.....a water floor cage where this Ebony warrior resides, on the cell door is a seal that normally holds him in place so when am strong and my will is that of fire, he could never break out If am dying, it's the other way around. When I sleep or meditate, my mind is instantly transfered to this place where I do battle with by the mind, I am Yang while he is Yin, the endless struggles of humanity, good vs evil always wages within me and their is nothing I can do that will force it too end until I purge the monster from my own soul. What you heard most likely was a conversation.......between me.....and him about various things, one was that I swore......I would destroy him and take his power for my mine.....he only spat in my face and called me weak.....perhaps there is merit to that......perhaps I should follow the way of bushido and do what a warrior does when they are beyond saving.....even from themselves. The other conversation was about......you two.....He was going....to rape you into oblivion, make you his sex slaves and force you.....to produce children for him......He seeks.....to destroy this world....peramently and If he can spread enough of his darkness.....through himself or others......such as his own flesh and blood or by a messenger.....he will without hesitation. He has.....a special interest...for reasons I don't do not understand..........I must walk this path alone.....no once has the ability to help or the ability to save me.......only I can save myself from my own sins.......no can follow me......not even...."

He hesitated for a few moments time before answering.

"Not even Alia........At any time I could lose control of my body to that monster If he can even called that......He will rape you....he will torture you AND he will certainly kill in the worst way possible that would make your fate worse than death itself........I do this beacuse I must....I have no choice and there is no one that could ever change my decision.......The moment I show weakness, he will prey on it and use agianst me at any opportunity he can......Do not be sad.....do not cry......this is my fate and this my doing.....it is my fault for being in this......I will do whatever I have to destroy this monster and when that day finally comes....I will rebuild my house to it's former glory and take a final rest for which I deserve....."

  11. His words were like a knife cutting butter, slicing at the layers of her own beliefs as he explained his strife in deep context. But, the more he spoke, the more she had an unyielding urge- which, with tears in her eyes, she acted on.

She didn't hit him hard- just a small fist against his head as he rambled about why he had to be alone. "Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone falls in with the wrong crowd for at least a moment. Everyone does things that have consequences. But you know what? No person- not one- should be forced to live alone."

Resting her back against the wagon, she let out a sigh. She didn't know what half the things he talked about meant, and most of it went over her head- but there were pieces, no matter how small, that cut her to the core. Things that had nothing to do with it just flooded her thoughts, mixing them like a toxic soup.

"I'm thankful you want to protect us from it, but avoiding people isn't going to help in the end. I mean, think about it. The longer a person is alone, the more time they're stuck with just themselves, no one to help them with the stress. As stress builds, your body will start to decay, battling itself. Wouldn't that give the vile demon an easier time to take control?"

A soft groan left her when she continued her rambling, frustration more clear in her voice. "Even my five year old brother knows it's better to talk out problems than hide them. I don't know who this Alia is, but I bet she'd agree with me on this. Christina too. If people care, they're not going to let you just go at things like this alone. Believe it or not, two heads really are better than one. We're all stronger as a team."

  12. He was already annoyed when she punched him gently on his forehead but than she gave him the words of a native idiot that didn't understand a thing he said, by her words alone, he could tell she barley even listened to him, If she had than she woudn't have gave him palethic answers but here we were. Her words didn't do anything to appeal him, it only did the complete opposite, angering him further. He felt his honour was insulted by her stupidity, he had initially wanted to draw his Odachi and cut her down for her stupidity but she wasn't worth the effort or time, instead he resorted to what most people did.

"Hmph....your such a hopeless forsaken idiot who refuses to listens and attempt to understand.....I was wasting my time trying to explain anything to your dull mind......Go waste someone else's time woman, am done with you since you can't clearly understand anything that requires a deeper understanding.....Go sit with Christina or something, I don't care." Seto laid back down on the wagon's floor yet again and turn the other way towards the wall of the wagon, away from Christina and Sola. Going back to his sleep, he didn't want nothing to do with Sola at the moment, she had royally pissed him off and he highly doubt she could ever possibiliy understand his pain or even try. "Don't pretend....like you know Alia......she's not native or near sighted like you......She would do what is necessary, even if that means......she had to kill me to save others......and from myself........" He closed his eyes and blocked the two and their voice from his mind, wishing to be alone...with the beast.

Christina still at the helm overheard the entire thing unfortunetely but kept to herself, not wanting to disrespect Seto, She knew something had to be wrong but she would have never gussed something this horrible was occuring in him, Sola's words obivously didn't help the situation. She sighed after Sola was done talking and Seto laid on the wagon's floor, she tapped Sola's shoulder and nodded for her to sit up with her, hoping she realize it would be probably be pointless to try and talk to Seto further. "Well aren't you the smooth talker, Come sit up here with me Sola, Leave Seto to his silence." She said mostly genuine as she laid her eyes back on the road.

  13. Solaria shockingly took the hint, climbing over the part of the wagon she was in to sit next to Christina up front. She leaned back with a sigh, hand reaching towards the sunlight, watching it filter through her limber fingers.

"I can't stand seeing someone hurt themselves. No matter the reason, it doesn't change all I can see at this exact moment is his own self-harm. Is it so wrong to worry about someone even if they're the threat to the many? Is it wrong to want to save him, from his very own soul, even though he's deemed an enemy due to the unknown?"

Though it was strange to many, the girl was sensitive. Tears took to her eyes, streaming down her cheeks in waves of faltering pain and denial. Seto reminded her far too much of people dear to her- whether it was her mother, who'd essentially committed suicide giving birth to her brother, or her brother, who blamed himself constantly for their lack of a mother in their lives.

The tears were shed not just for Seto, even if mostly for him. It was for all the people she loved, lost, and otherwise cared for. Even Christina, and the rabbit on her head, that seemed to jump into her lap to try to wipe the water in her eyes with his long ears. "Thanks, Forest Master, but I'll be okay."

"Who would've thought an idiot could cry?"

"The saying is idiot's don't catch colds, not idiots don't get sad, master."

"I didn't know either one was a saying. I just only have seen you grinning like a goofball. Doubt anyone else has seen otherwise either." Solaria rolled her eyes as he spoke, making him smile. He returned to her head, cuddling into her hair to chew on it. "You're better off being stupid, though. In a way, it's like a strength almost."

  14. Christina would have been lying to herself If she didn't feel bad for Sola even though she did deserve it. Wrapping her arms around Sola's waist, Christina held Sola tight as she cried from Seto's insults. She wanted Sola to feel better about the entire situation. When she felt somewhat better, She pulled away from Sola and sighed before looking back at her. "I know this may be difficult for you to understand Sola but..... sometimes the best way you can help someone is simply listening to them and trying to understand their pain rather than telling them they can't think that way, some things are far more complicated that what is shown on the outside of somone.....Did you listen....Did you try to process what you were told? Did you try to understand his pain and try to see things through their eyes? Lord Kurama is a complicated man, simple things like you said to him won't work for him, but you already know that Sola don't you? If you truely care for him, listen and try to understand ok? My mom told me those words and at first I didn't understand them either but I did after I thought about it for a long time." When she finished speaking to Sola who was still upset, Sola's new fluffy companion jumped from the top of her head and flopped itself into her lap, trying to wipe the tears from her eyes with it's paws. Christina nearly fell out of her seat yet again when she began to hear the rabbit speak to Sola like it was a human in a rabbit's body. How was that rabbit talking she thought unless Sola was telling the truth about that rabbit being the Wise King......no she couldn't believe it! That thing was huge and scary and this rabbit was not even a feet tall! She gave up after awhile and returned to looking back towards the roads

Seto on the other hand returned to rolling over and moving while he slept, mumbling many things similar to before but the last one was "I fight beacuse I must! I have no choice!" To Sola and Christina, he was back in hell in his nightmares. With his legs crossed, Seto sat down in the flood floor as he stared into the monster's cage, the two stared at each other in silence until Seto broke the silence with his own words
"What is it that you truely want in this world? Why would you desire power when you already have it at your disposal? You are more powerful than most, few could battle you and reign victorious, You do not wish to spread the seed of darkness for that would destroy the very world you wish to control through your power so what it is Kurama? What is it your desire?" Despite Seto's words, there was no sinister laughing as per usual, there wasn't even talk, only silence as the monster contiuned to stared at Seto through the visor of it's demonic, ebony helmet within it's cage. This was the first time in his mind there wasn't a enternal battle of the mind, there only silence before the monster spoke once again to Seto. "Hmph.......you already know boy......Search your feelings.....You will know in due time and when you finally know, there will be one final showdown, one final climatic battle to see who will reign supreme over these lands, We shall see who is the victor in the coming days........"

  15. A part of Solaria wanted to take notes- she hadn't been told often enough just to listen without giving feedback- in fact, she'd far more often heard the opposite, at least with family and friends. As a child, she was far from outspoken, making her mother worry. Perhaps she'd jumped too much on the opposite side of the spectrum?

"I see...Thank you, Christina. It's good to be aware of that." Smiling, she wasn't upset- in fact, she was thankful Christina honestly scolded her and gave her insight as to how to better help someone who was so emotionally scarred...Even if, egoistically, it would harm her far more in the end, most likely. A martyr complex and 'doing nothing' didn't go well together.

Silence overtook her for a while, a sight not seen by many online, particularly not in recent years. Seto's voice cut the quiet like a katana, crumbling a wall she'd built without words, her head turning to watch him again with a frown. "But seeing him like this...How can we just do nothing? He's in so much pain...I just want to cry more, seeing it. I don't like being sidelined, even if it's for my own good, you know? I'm only mad at him...for deciding for me."
