The sun was gone, the night blackened the sky with the many stars taking the sun's place, Stokbon itself was giggling with exictment whem word had broke out a large group of nobles and players were gathering at Brousseau Manor for some social greeting, the details were sparse, only the most informed knew of the situation at hand but even still, the city prepared for this event as If it was important to the city itself nearly a week ago for tonight. Of course the one and only Black Duke of Southern Astorea was personally invited by a few nobles who had all sent him personal invitations. He is first thoughts of participating were negiable at first, he had no interest in going since it had to deal with Brisshal politics but than the more thinking he did, the thought of being able to use their connections for his own use in the future sparked enough interest for him to pertake in this event in Stokbon. Donning his white and blue stripped Heian Period Mon Kimono with his black Tabi's, This time he rode by carriage which in returned allowed him to quickly make his way to stokborn in only a day's travel which was good fortune he didn't have to deal with any bandits or highwaymen along the way.
Arriving in Stokborn and Brousseau Manor soon after the sun had went down, stepping down the carriage stairs, the streets were surpringly quiet at this time with only a dozen or so of people in noble wear and victorian ere dresses. In the distance coming from Brousseau Manor, Seto could hear instrumental music coming from it's very walls, it was.....soothing to hear compared to what he was used to. For a moment, closed his eyes and slightly swung his head back and forth as he listened to the music that only caused harmony in his soul, even Kurama was calmed by it's music which was unheard of. Seto exhaled as he sighed happily, catching his breath he finally pushed himself up the stairs, passed the fully armored guards at the post after nodding to them. Walking up the stairs to the front doors of Brousseau Manor, he looked back, he could dozens of noble and player alike converging on his position, all heading to the party, perhaps this was a rare time he could relax and not worry about such important things? Perhaps he was dreaming a little too hard, one could dream couldn't he?
Staring out, he could notice a child being led by it's mother whom stopped every thirty or forty week to marvel at the youn women in victorian dresses to the crescent moon that prowled the night, something deep within himself acked at the sighting but not in a bad way. Was his inner self telling him he wanted children for himself? Well he knew he wanted children as heirs but were these feeling telling him he wanted.....something more? Why? How? He shook his head, such romance and things of that subject were of little concerned, he knew such romance couldn't lead anyway but sorrowness in the heart, he knew that pain all too well blowing two such relationships in the past in the real world, If it couldn't happen in the real world than how could it here? That was enough thinking of that he yelled to himself mentally, turning back towards the door, he took one last long inhale before exhaling "Show time" he muttered. Using his right hand he opened the door and walked in only to see a huge ball room with the dancing floor in the middle, to the sides were large amounts of tables and chairs with food and drink spreaded all around on buffet tables. Of course through all this madness there was already a good amount of noble and player like in here in the manor, Seto would guess anywhere from fifty to a hundred and only more were coming.
"FROM THE SOUTHERN DUCHY OF ASTOREA
SETO KURAMA, THE BLACK DUKE"
It was a good thing he had noticed the announcers when he walked into Brousseau Manor or else he would have most likely been caught completely off guard and made himself look like a fool, instead he raised his right hand and waved a few times at the peaople applauses before returning to their talks or activities before they were interuppted. He didn't know if it was his enterance to the festivities or If he was deaf somehow but it became aparent this place became the center of common, glowing like a beacon in the dark with all it's magically powered warm lights on the ceiling's and walls in many colors of the rainbow, the instrumental music coming from the corner of the band grew louder and more beautiful that seemed to thrill everyone in the room including himself. He almost lost all his focus, wanting to daze out where he stood until he saw the familiar face of a noble woman he knew, that slim figure with her long curly blond hairs, there was no mistaken. Clearing his throat, he walked over to the familiar noble and the two other nobles nearby....with an equally attractive woman, perhaps this was a fortune? Or perhaps this just became another day of work for him playing in the world of politics?
