"Treasure in a Ruin"
The entrance, which slightly protruded into the dense and ancient woodwork which encircled the gigantic construct, seemed to beckon those in with its lofty whistles that sprung when the breeze pushed its way through its cracks. Travelers often compared the piece of architecture to be akin to a siren's call, the song it plays luring the wildlife in and, once a stranger enters through its doors, they were more often than not ripped into pieces by the ravenous beasts that laid inside.
A glimmer of red light seemed to shine through from the interior for a moment before flickering out like the candle wick that had been left outside for rain to drizzle out. The haunting sight, despite having vanished, seemed to change the surrounding atmosphere to a more grim, solemn field. No longer did the wind blow or the birds flew; everything was deathly still, as if it was all just caught in a picture frame.
The only sign of human interference was a signpost which laid beside the entry way:
