The entrance, which slightly protruded into the dense and ancient woodwork which encircled the gigantic construct, seemed to beckon those in with its lofty whistles that sprung when the breeze pushed its way through its cracks. Travelers often compared the piece of architecture to be akin to a siren's call, the song it plays luring the wildlife in and, once a stranger enters through its doors, they were more often than not ripped into pieces by the ravenous beasts that laid inside.

A glimmer of red light seemed to shine through from the interior for a moment before flickering out like the candle wick that had been left outside for rain to drizzle out. The haunting sight, despite having vanished, seemed to change the surrounding atmosphere to a more grim, solemn field. No longer did the wind blow or the birds flew; everything was deathly still, as if it was all just caught in a picture frame.

The only sign of human interference was a signpost which laid beside the entry way:

    ELYSIAN LABYRINTH
    MINI DUNGEON
    3 ROOMS
    1 BOSS
    'Home of the Madagascar Plant'

Then, the wind began to howl yet again.

  2. "Not the most ideal place I would pick to collect research materials." Yuki muttered to himself taking a glance at the sign that gave small details about the dungeon beyond him. Moving away from the sign, he would take a seat by the grass next to the sign while waiting for the rest of his party to show up.

He always had self doubt running around in his mind and this time was no different. This was yet another mission he was taking and he has little equipment on him other then his sword. Out of everyone, he was probably the most unreliable due to his lack of experience and gear. But it's not like he was the biggest noob here. Maybe his party was under equipped as well.
