Another day had settled into a dreamy night. Stars scattered like pin holes in the the darkness of the sky forever illuminating the world sphere till new day breaks. Lush royal purple hair sprawled off the shoulder of a pristine, white plated and gold ceremonial armor. From the eyes, one would perceive Vivian as a busty beauty with steel blue eyes and a Knight of some other. However, there was a dark taint on the inside of that shell that one could not see. Red lips spread into a wide smile as the female brought her hand up, delicate and articulate swish of her silken hair to unfurl from her eye as she squinted into the empty darkness ahead of her. "My, my, my. What a wonderful evening to go exploring. Perhaps to continue my training in the dark arts as well. That little Crimson Haired Bitch got the best of me last time. I will not be beaten again!" There was a darkness in that sweet voice that escalated as the comment pushed from her lips. Those sweet and gentle eyes now screamed a malevolence as pure dark energy wave blasted off her body causing the ground around to wilt from the penetrating darkness. Calming her nerves, it was a rare sight to see Vivian so upset. Her mellow nature had crumbled due to the fact that she was bested by another spell caster, that was something that needed to be remedied with haste. Cold blues continued to scan the outlying land, she would need to attempt every feasible attempt she could to bring her Malefimancy up to snuff, but only having a handful of delicate and not too sure spells at her fingertips, the long crawl to getting it mastered was heavy on her mind. The best way to deal with this was to bring about the death of some monsters and explore the lands perhaps finding some areas of interest and even opening up some new spell skills as well. Vivian once again brushed the long strands of streaked bi-purple hair from off her shoulder, the moon light sweeping over her exotic armor as she stood in place, lips pressed and then bitten before taking a step forward. These forest rumored to have some exotic monsters as well, true enough Vivian would test herself among them and would bring about her devastating power only to drain the essence of their life force while making her stronger. Though she would have to be careful of her wicked spells as many abhorred the use of Dark Arts. But that was only fuel to stoke the fire and passion she stirred within her power hungry mind. They would all die with a flick of her wrist or on bended knee to her will. Taking another step forward, Vivian who was about to take her first steps forward towards the dense forest had stopped short of the boundary and titled her head slightly over her shoulder, "Alright. Who is there...? I am in no mood to play with little children right now. And if that is you- you redheaded cunt, I'll break you where you stand." @Magdalyn
Magdalyn had been taught to fear virtual darkness. Realistically, what video games were there that stood as an exception to the "nighttime is dangerous" rule? If you ventured too far from safety, or away from your comfy ring of light, you were bound to be mauled, shot, electrocuted, sliced in half, whisked away to the underworld, etc. The demons, the ghosts, the badies, all existed in the shadows. When the sun finished its relentless trek across the sky, falling victim once more to the endless horizon, the monsters were king. Or, at least, that was what she had been conditioned to believe. Therefore, a few days had passed before she had found the courage to explore under the cover of night. It was a wonder she had resisted for so long, truthfully, given the impossible beauty of Terrasphere's evening sky. For a week, she had resorted to logging out come sundown, or taking refuge in a well-lit tavern. This night, though, she had given into temptation. The night had called to her, a chorus of sleepy birds, restless bullfrogs, and the gentle breeze through the leaves. Inhibitions be damned, the woman had let herself be led from safety and into the cool evening air. She had wandered for hours, her blue eyes as wide and star-studded as the sky above. It was only creeping exhaustion, and a desire to be closer to the heavens, that drove her to climb the tree and settle in among its thickest branches. The tree on the forest's edge would provide a place to rest, without inhibiting her view of the wondrous show overhead. Lena was not especially coordinated, and in game, Magdalyn was even less-so. She chalked her failure up to beginner levels, but learning curves did not make her skinned elbows and throbbing knees hurt any less. By the time she cozied up against the tree's thick trunk, her eyes were already heavy. Sleep may have come for her, had it not been for the shout. "Blue hair, actually." Pivoting on her branch, Mags stared down at the newcomer. "I'm no redhead." She smiled, the gesture somehow both innocent and devilish, despite the exhaustion. "I can't speak to the cunt part though."
Vivian spun in place to look upwards with her cold eyes squinting to spot the bluenette up in the tree. The figure was shrouded in shadows due the lack of luminescence scattered from the moon light. Yet she was able to see enough of the figure that it was in fact not the redheaded cunt. "So it seems to be true." Vivian offered no apology for her minor outburst towards the woman, "But I would ask why you are in a tree and follow it up with a; are you stalking me?" A small laugh, it would be no question or contest of thought to think that someone would actually come follow or stalk the female beauty. She had made many men drop to their knees and her flirtatious attitude seemed to come in raw abundance when she set her wild and wicked ways in motions. The same were true with females as well, it did not matter the gender. With Vivian, all fell to bended knee to scrape and to bow. Nonetheless, this was not here or there. She was not in the flirting mood persay, but was more annoyed by the fact that someone may have been dropping by unannounced and it was clear she had a grudge against a certain other female with red hair. "I suppose you are safe for now girly, if only for the fact I can't climb a tree to bring you down to your knees. But I could probably destroy that tree you are in." The thought passed and she waved her hand to sweep it away, "My name is Vivian Cruz. I was actually about to head into the spoopy forest and try out some new spells, are you interested in coming with?" Vivian wouldn't mind the company, even to help alleviate some of that stress that had been piling on her recently. Not to mention that odd curse mark that was visible on her belly under her armor so many new things had seized and occupied the woman's mind as of late. Having a little walk through the forest seemed like a way to breathe some air into her stale thoughts. Vivian took a step closer towards the tree and squinted her eyes again at the female, "How did you get up there in the first place?" she wondered out loud making light conversation. It would so happen to be that Vivian was born in one of the most concentrated parts of New York and that trees or greenery was something you do not see day to day, so the climbing of a tree simply eluded her. Brushing the soft hair from off her shoulder, the purple strands bounced off and sprung back into place as it unfurled over her back. "I think if we both venture out together we should be relatively safe. Although from the looks of it you might be a newer player. But I can say the same for myself. I have not done much adventuring yet, but YOLO right?" @Magdalyn
"Stalking you, huh?" Magdalyn gave a soft laugh, shifting her weight so that both of her legs dangled over one side of the rough, sturdy branch. She crossed her arms against the branch above, rest her forehead against them, and peered down, more comfortably now, at the woman. In the moonlight, the stranger's hair seemed to change color, shimmering with each movement the player made. Purple, Mags decided finally, taking a brief moment to appreciate the choice. It was a rich color, with so many tones that it rippled and rolled like a dark, stormy sea. She wondered if the appearance gave indication as to the woman's behavior. Then, she wondered if her own hair gave off such badass vibes. In regards to the former, Mags felt the smallest pinprick of fear as she gazed at the stranger. Her hair was not the only thing that spoke of power. Everything from her flashy armor to the way she stood screamed experience, confidence, and don't-mess-with-me-or-I'll-fuck-you-up. Even if Magdalyn had not heard the woman speak, a voice so commanding and strong that even the woods quieted, she would have known this was not a person to trifle with. But she had heard, and save for that small, nagging unease, she felt largely unaffected by the purple-haired presence. Her rationale was simple - she had nothing to lose. What would a higher level player do to her? Rob her? She had literally nothing. Kill her? Would not be a kill to brag about, and besides, Mags would just respawn. So she threw caution to the wind, smiled down through the darkness, and finished. "I've been up here for hours. If anyone is doing the stalking, it's you." When the woman extended the party offer, Magdalyn's smile faltered, confusion ghosting across her face. "Didn't you just threaten to cut down my tree, and -" Her voice trailed, and then she shook her head. Nah, not worth it. So instead, she leapt from her perch, letting gravity drag her back to earth. She bent her knees to absorb the impact, and as she straightened, she brushed the seat of her pants with a bit more flourish than necessary. Though the climb itself had made her look like a complete fool, anyone could fall from a tree, and she was thankful for that. "I climbed," she answered simply, once she had rid the aches from her muscles with a roll of her shoulders. "I'm brand new, so I don't have much to offer besides bad jokes. You up for that?"
Vivian watched with wonder as the woman fell from the heavens with ease and composure. Now that she was standing a few feet away, the female Malefimancer was able to get a better read of this woman. In the dead of night, it looked her hair to be raven black but with came the pouring of soft moonlight, it seemed to shimmer with blue as per her earlier comment. A soft smile on her curved red lips as the woman stood with a gaze of silence. "You are a bit tall for a woman," came the comment from the honey of her voice. "But I suppose that is a matter of perspective." The woman shrugged and was more than happy to know that the female was eager to get dangerous alongside the darkling female. With a never relenting smile on her face, the woman moved towards the girl and peered into her eyes and nodded, "You can tell all the jokes you want. I too am somewhat new to the game, so it'll be an experience for the both of us." Vivian turned and leaned back, her smaller frame leaning back at the girl as her shoulder lightly tapped Magdalyn's frame. With her soft hair rubbing against the bluentte, Vivian smiled with those full red lips of hers and squinted, "If for nothing else, you are great eye candy. Let us have some fun tonight. I think if we tag one enemy at a time, we should be safe." As quickly as the small motion was made, Vivian moved her hand across her UI and initiated a party request from the female. When that was said and done, the lush and vibrant hair that was pulled from the darkness has once again sparkled like silk in the sun. The moon that had been washed by clouds was now clear and visible, no longer had the clouds formed as the scene unfolded into something else. With a hand on her hips and browsing her list of spells, Lady Cruz brushed up on some more complex spells and began to initiate a turn order for her spells so she could see what she was casting at the time and then make adjustments as she went. "If you are ready we can begin. I'll keep an eye on anything relatively weak so we can poke it a little." And with that, Vivian lifted her hand up as if summoning the dark magic into her favor. A wind blew across her face and hair, sweeping it off her shoulder as her eyes brilliantly displayed power. With her hand forming into a clutched fist, the air once more became silent and still. She was beyond ready to show off her display of skills. Because that was the fun. @Magdalyn
"And you're a bit ballsy for a so-called new player," Mags replied, a lazy smile unfurling as she looked the woman up and down. "That probably bodes well for you, as does my height. So we should be alright, you and I. Though I suppose that's also a matter of perspective." Eye-candy, eh? Who in the world had she roped in as her scouting partner? Nothing to lose, she reminded herself, standing her ground as the stranger rubbed against her. Was it possible to wear perfume in-game? Because Magdalyn swore she caught the scent of something musky on the cool, evening breeze. Sharp, woody, sophisticated, and somehow perfect for the woman who now stood before her. Invite Vivian Cruz has invited you to their party. Accept? Any lingering hesitation left her as she fingered the "accept" button. "Well, Vivian Cruz," she began catching and holding the woman's gaze. "Looks like we're partners now. I'm Magdalyn, but feel free to call me any shorter variation. I know the whole thing can be a mouthful." She waggled her eyebrows, sure that the gesture would not be lost to the darkness. Vivian struck her as a woman who missed very little. "Feel free to lead on, as I can say, with confidence, you're more well-equipped to handle anything that jumps out at us."
"Oh my! You are just as saucy as I am!" Vivian cooed to the now befriended stranger. After the invite was accepted, the two seemed to be in cahoots. Party established, Vivian took another moment and shifted her gaze on her UI while sweeping it clear a moment after. "Well, Maggy..." Vivian stopped to look back at her rearguard companion to see if the name would be surface any ill looks. She did say any form of the name, but there was a number of others that could be called out as well but perhaps not so desirable all the same. And so Vivian, with her sauntering gait, lead the way towards no particular destination. She had come out this night to test out some new spells, but her belt glowed for a moment as her sword materialized in its sheath. She might need that just incase some melee was necessary. "So you have yet to use your weapon, is that it? I have a bunch of prepared spells but I have not used my weapon all that much. We'll see what happens." In the darkness, there was a shifting figure. It was hard to see but it looked like a wolf creature had been spotted as Vivian squinted her eyes. In a hushed tone the woman looked back to speak on strategy, "My spells take some time to conjure up. I can probably get a surprise attack off since it hasn't spotted us yet. But once I tag it, it'll come running for us. I'll need you to engage while I prep for another spell." Vivian flipped her hair off her shoulder, the ground around them became gnarled and rooted as a dark fog soon lifted. The thickness was heavy as Vivian seemed to call upon the mist as her hands arched and flowed into the air as if sucking it straight out of the ground. The scent of putrid death that stung the nostril could be smelled around them as the Malefimancer continued to conjure her deadly toxin. With that wicked smile worn like a Temptress, the fog began to roll towards the unaware Wolf. With her hand lifting upwards flat against the air, the fog rolled towards the target. With her hand now clutching, the abysmal, foul-odored fog of death now gripped hold of the wolf where it began to shake its head. Like a poison hacking away at its health points, the creature turned to the two party members as it found it's aggressors. "Alright Miss Maggy. Time to show that Wolf Pup who is in charge here." Vivian began to skirt away from the engaged melee battle as she had to prep her second spell, "Just hold it's attention long enough so I can get this underway." @Magdalyn
"Whoa," the blue-haired woman breathed, eyes wide and unblinking as she observed the spectacle. "This is malefimancy, then?" Her awe was apparent, but in the darkness, hesitation also ghosted across her face. Was it because this dark magic was a direct foil to her own nature abilities that she was so uneasy? That she helped things grow while this helped things die, zapping life rather than giving it? Or was it merely the game's general dislike of the magic that had rubbed off on her? Either way, she felt her skin crawl as the fog rolled toward the wolf pup, and she held her breath to keep from inhaling it. She busied herself by equipping her spear, focused first on her menu, and then on the weapon that appeared on her back. Then, Mags glanced skyward as she concentrated on drawing the polearm. By the time she had prepared herself, both mentally and physically, the pup was loping awkwardly toward her. Despite the small size, the growl emitted by the creature still held a dangerous edge. The woman might have been able to attack had the twisted scowl remained, and the low, warning noise never ceased. But as the mocha-colored wolf pup drew nearer, it's face cleared, small ears swiveling forward, brown eyes blinking back at her. It slowed a few paces away, sniffing at the air, getting her scent. Was this what beast taming was all about? "Oh god," Mags groaned. "You seriously want me to kill this little guy?"
Energy began to focus all around her has vile air spread throughout the area. Her hands making subtle movements as the spell circle beneath her feet pulsated with an unearthly glow. As Maggy was stepping up to take on the wolf-creature, the words that came out of her mouth had nearly made Vivian wretch. "Kill or be killed, damn it! Ugh! If you have no guts...!" Vivian moved out of her spell circle, the spell coming to a premature end as she moved with haste. With her hand moving out towards Magdalyn, she shoved her away from the creature and brought the force of her blade straight through the maw of the creature. The sharpness of the blow collided with the creature as the blade struck through easily enough. The look on her face was most wicked, her red lips curled into a sinister like grin, her blade deep into the throat of the wolf as it choked on its own blood. Laughing, Vivian began to twist her blade before ripping it out of the creature's mouth, blood spurting into her face as she pulled back with the blade. The wolf's face seemed to be disfigured and then fell over dead before exploding into nothingness. Vivian turned to Maggy and shook her head, sweeping her hand through her hair revealing her blood splattered face, "That was invigorating, but I thought you would have had the sand to do the killing blow. Perhaps partying with a random stranger was not such a great idea on my part. I hope you actually didn't feel sorry for it." Vivian twisted her wrist and flicked the blood off her curved sword before the naked blade fell back into the ornate sheath at her side. She folded her arms over her chest and smiled at the bluenette and leaned to one side giving her an eyeful, "What were you really expecting? That it would befriend you or something? Pitiful. Come on, there is much more to kill if you got the stomach for it. Or we can turn back and head to the city, or even part ways." Vivian now shrugged her shoulders, arms falling back down to her waist as she started to walk. "Make a decision. Or else something or someone makes it for you."
Magdalyn wore her disgust plain on her face, making no attempt to hide her true feelings. At first, the woman's actions had surprised her, then horrified her. Now, the flash and burn of the first two feelings had cooled into a darker, colder repugnance. "Kill or be killed?" she echoed, her voice sounding hollow even to her own ears. "Did that pup look like it was about to kill me?" The woman scoffed, shook her head, and added, "I'm new here, I'll give you that. But unless there's some mechanic that no one told me about, where little level one pups pretend to hesitate long enough to earn your trust, just so they can rip your throat out..." her voice trailed, and she shook her head again. With more force than was necessary, she shoved her spear back into its sling. The night air was as cool as the blood that rushed through her veins, and nearly as cold as the words that threatened to burst past her lips. But with her hands on her hips, face tilted away from Vivian, she composed herself. "I have been honing my beast taming abilities," she finally explained, without looking at her companion. "I don't have a whole lot of control yet. I didn't expect it to befriend me-" she nearly spat the word "- but that was also the first time an animal has acted that way. And I didn't expect you to get so much damn pleasure out of the kill." There was no longer a hum in her blood, and after the moment's pause, she no longer had to fight to keep from trembling. So she inhaled deeply, and finally turned back to the woman."You've been here a lot longer than I have. Maybe you're immune to this shit, and maybe that's for the best. Who knows, maybe I'll be there soon myself. But for now, I don't have the sand to kill something that isn't actively trying to kill me first." As if personifying the dark emotions swirling within her, a low rumble of thunder rolled from far off. Instinctively, Mags glanced upward. When had the black clouds rolled in, blotting out the once star-studded sky? "I'm going back to town before I get dumped on," she announced with a finality that she figured would appease the woman. Make a damn decision, she growled inwardly. "Join me, if you want, but try not to kill anything on the way." @Vivian Cruz
Vivian's eyebrows rose as the woman made her decision as she started to walk back towards the town. Vivian shook her head and laughed out loud, it was the sound of a mocking laugh not unusual for the Malefimancer. Sweeping the long tendrils of purple hair off her shoulder, she walked behind Maggy slowly keeping her one eye on the woman as they walked. Rolling thunder heard overhead as they continued to make their way out of the forest. The show of lightning coursed through the dark clouds illuminating the sky like a firecracker. The wind had picked up pace as well as the clouds shifted and sped through the sky. Vivian looked up and felt the first few drops of rain upon her face, "Looks like we won't make it back in time." Almost as if she had cursed them both, the rain started to fall heavily almost drowning out the sound of the thunder as it boomed. THe rolling sound could be felt like bass drum deep within your chest as it boomed on and on. Thunder close by striking the ground causing a wild flash of lightning. Vivian ran towards Magdalyne, a tight grip on her shoulder before pushing her out of the way of the oncoming strike from above. "What the hell did you to piss off the Gods?" she laughed as she looked at the ground where the bolt had struck. Vivian, who was soaked to the bone, cared little if she were wet or dry, but she found something interested as she knelt down to examine the blasted ground. Using both hands, she moved the long purple hair away from her face. Giving a closer look, she placed a hand over the charred mark and immediately the ground gave way. "Oh fuuuu---!" Without even letting out the curse, the ground began to split and rupture like an earthquake swallowing the woman up as they slid down, deeper and deeper into whatever catacombs they had fallen into. Hitting dry and solid ground, Vivian landed on her backside as she rolled over and put pressure on her butt. Quickly looking up, she knew Maggy would be right behind her and attempted to move out of the way or else she would be squished under the woman. Exhaling and groaning, however the young female landed, Vivian surveyed whatever mess they had got themselves into. It was difficult to see in the gloom and the dark and her abilities didn't allow for any fire spitting spells. "Well fuck me sideways, I have no idea where we are." The sound of Vivian's armor with her hand colliding on her thigh as she mumbled and looked around. She was now cold and wet and slightly shivering from this digital coldness. Her cold eyes looked around and attempted to see if there was any map data in her HUD. Everything was just dark and grey, "I feel a small draft. Perhaps we go in that direction?"
She felt Vivian moving behind her, heard her mocking laughter, and fought to keep her temper under control. Even so, her hands clenched and unclenched into fists at her side as she strode forward, willing her long strides to put distance between them. She had invited the woman to follow along, sure, but she never would have guessed she would agree. Rather, she thought the woman might have stormed off in a rage - the way Mags had. Magdalyn was all hard lines and frayed nerves as she stomped away, refusing to look back, even when the purple haired malefimancer commented on her upsetting the gods. She knew, deep down, that she was probably overreacting. It was just a game, after all, and one that rewarded combat with mobs. So why, then, did she keep replaying that murder in her mind? The knife sliding into the wolf pup's throat? The splatter of blood, too bright in the darkness, a startling red against Vivian's white skin? The dazzling lightning that forked across the sky flashed like the renewed anger in her arctic-blue eyes. As the rain pounded against her skin, she could practically feel it sizzling. The anger evaporated, replaced by sheer panic, when the ground bucked beneath her. "Shit," was the only thing she had time to utter before the earth parted, and she was swallowed up. The free-fall was the worst, and it lasted long enough for her to think is this how I die? Had she fallen into some black hole, only to respawn elsewhere with a flashing 'you have made a fatal error' notification? The hard smack of her thin frame on sturdy ground told her that no, she would not be dying. Or, at least, not from the fall. Allowing herself only a few seconds of dazed confusion, Magdalyn slowly found her feet. She trembled trembled, as much from fear and shock as the cold seeping through her thin vanity clothes. "Toward the draft?" she echoed, her teeth chattering to prove her point. But she had no other suggestion to make, so she merely shrugged. "I guess so." A spattering of rain still manged to find them, traveling the long distance to pepper her already soaked body. In an attempt to shield herself, she pressed closer to the wall, allowing Vivian to take the lead. For the second time that evening, she found herself falling into line before the more advanced player. Hopefully, whatever they encountered next would be less of a disaster.
"I only suggest because that is where the exit would lead us to." The woman shrugged her shoulders. Her wet, purple hair something of a mess as she slicked it back. The cold didn't seem to bother her as much as the female who had been chattering away, the sound of her teeth disturbing the silence as they walked. Vivian lead the way because she honestly didn't trust this other girl to lead them out of here and if that had been the case, Vivian would have been long gone already. Although after acting like a total Bitch, it seemed right to at least help this girl out of here. Besides, Vivian was not the loner sort, even it was bad company, it was still company. The Conjurer of Disease stopped and she flicked her wrist. A small hue of purple energy seemed to slink about her arm as it rested in a luminescent bubble over her hand. She leaned forward and pursed her lips together and blew a sort of dark fog into the bubble as it expanded and began to float about like a small swimming light bobbing in the air. Vivian was proud to be able to conjure something so simplistic to help light their way, but all of that seemed for nothing when the chilling sound of ghostly moans echoed all over the chamber walls. "You..heard that right?" the woman asked making sure she was not just hearing disembodied moans. Then she turned slightly to the other female, "Maybe we just fell into some weird sex ritual down here in the catacombs. Are we their guests or next in line?" she laughed and shook her head in the process. Although most likely the ghosts or spirits here would leave them alone. But Vivian was all too fond of provoking things. "Don't worry. I won't let anything rape you, not before I get my hand on you first." Vivian didn't turn back as she spoke to Maggy, of all the things to say to a new girl who was alone with a weird woman as Vivian who had a pension for the disturbed. The small ball of bubbling light continued to bounce and float in the air, guiding them closer and closer towards the draft that they both felt. Coming up to a fork, there was once more a foul smell in the air, something sour like rotting flesh. The bubbling light cast some luminance on what was around, shifting and upturned caskets littered the hall as Vivian stopped to examine these broken graves. "Mmm, seems like some grave robbing. Perhaps a little necrophilism? Are you into dead things, Maggy?" Her question a rhetoric as she laughed standing up, "How do you feel about ghouls and zombies? Are you gonna befriend them as well?"
"Yeah, I heard it," Magdalyn confirmed with a shallow nod of her wet head. At the woman's subsequent question, the woman gave a wry smile. "Honestly, I'd go for a bout of weird, ritualistic catacomb sex right now, if it meant getting warm." Then, after a brief pause, she added, "That wasn't meant to be an invitation, of course. Just a random musing." Whether or not Vivian wanted to engage in wild underground sex was a mystery to her, but based on what she had seen so far, she would not be overly surprised. She also pegged the violet-haired sorcerer as the dominant one. The flippant comment about rape, and Vivian getting to her first, completely erased any lingering doubt. Definitely the dominant one, she decided, mixed parts aroused and terrified. Mostly the latter. The further they walked, the stronger the draft became, until it was a decent breeze whipping through the narrow space. Magdalyn imagined the cold ripping, unhindered, straight through her body. The game was too damn realistic, she decided on a soft huff. But when she went to inhale again, the stench caught her entirely by surprise. "I'm only into dead things if its a big, juicy steak on my plate." She brushed past Vivian, though carefully so, her trash-tier weapon back in her cold, damp hands. The goosebumps were noticeable when she glanced down, but not nearly as concerning as the scene before her. "So someone either broke into these caskets," she summarized, "or someone else broke out. Something else." Her jaw worked as she glanced around, the space only barely lit by Vivian's magic. "I'll befriend anything, if it means it won't bite off a chunk of me." As if tempted by the invitation, one of the upturned caskets began to rattle. Magdalyn took two hurried steps back, startled by the sudden noise and movement. "Damn," she growled, once she had enough control to draw in a deep breath. Her hold on the slick spear tightened. The thing shuddered, rolled, and rocked from side to side, strangely reminiscent of an egg about to burst. What horror was about to hatch from this thing?
"Party pooper," simple words that fell from her mouth in a low tone as she watched Maggy take her first steps away from the woman to the forefront. She was brushed on by and would have helped her stay warm, but she was already tempting fate between the two already. The curve of her smile had never reset from her expression though, but she had a strange sense of humor this girl. She got weak in the knees for wolf pup, but spoke fondly of getting warm with a bit of dark humor of her own. It was difficult to figure her out, perhaps she was just one of those chicks with a soft heart but a whore behind the door. Vivian could respect that, but a soft heart in a game like this won't get you much anywhere. Unless you were looking for a massive collection of Death Afflictions. Vivian and Maggy watched as the casket began to rock and lean, shuddering with each tremor it created. Vivian had wondered what kind of neat surprise would be inside that casket. A zombie? Something undead, surely? Perhaps it was a ghost or..."Maybe it like's blue haired women. And your comment about catacomb sex might have triggered this undead spirit..." With her hand stretched out as she spoke, she ran a slick finger up Maggy's back to add emphasis of the mild threat that could be as if the ghost or undead itself was about to bend the woman over. But it was just Vivian and her erotic and dark sense of humor and torture. She laughed mildly as the casket then stopped its movement. The air around them grew still and cold as the draft continued to sweep by them. The purplette woman squinted her eyes and began to slide the blade from her sheath when the casket just popped up with a burst. But nothing came out, it was hollow. "Ehh? Well, that's odd. You did see what I saw right? It was shaking just moments ago. I'll go take a look. " Vivian was fearless as she moved with her glowing orb of light. She shifted her hips with a sway as she walked and leaned down into a kneel to examine the thing. There was a very horrible and foul stench, but it didn't seem like anything had escaped it. "I think whatever it was, is messing with us now. As in I think this casket rattling was just a decoy for something else. Ghosts are fun are they not?" She said sitting up. The woman brought the glowing orb of light to her face so the wet female could see her gesture to continue, if they came across anything it might actually be from beyond a different plane. However the woman kept her eyes peeled towards the ground, "I wonder if I can find any unique tomes in here for my own collection. I'd love to get my hands on something spoopy..."
