Cozy Inn During your stay at one of the inns in this region, you become acquainted with a short, bald man, who introduced himself as Matis. He claimed he was a part of a traveling merchant duo, but was by himself now because his business partner got consumed by a nasty avalanche that he himself caused when he yelled amid their heated argument. Although he got out with nothing more than a missing leg, which was claimed by frostbite, his friend was completely crushed by the snow. From what you could observe, Matis was in deep mourning the loss of his partner. After a drink, he asked if you could hike up the Hyland mountains and try to recover his dead friend. Since he couldn’t accompany you, he gave you a map of where he thinks his friend might have ended up. To be wholly honest, Ferishteh was a little nervous about her first quest. She had gained a few things after fighting some low-level creatures in the forest where she had spawned in Brisshal: a little hand crossbow and a rod. She planned on building her Spirit and White Magic, so she was hoping that she might score a better weapon that she could use for those Masteries. But even a better Ranged Weapon would be a nice. Whatever she got, she decided, she wouldn’t complain. She could easily sell the items she won at the end of the quest for gold and buy something better. Being fairly new to the game, Ferishteh didn’t know anyone. She hadn’t found a faction or group to join, so she had opted to be randomly paired with another player for this quest. The server announced that her partner would be Endo. Ferishteh smiled brightly, waving at her quest partner. “Hello! It’s nice to meet you. I’m Ferishteh. Are you new to Terra Sphere, too?” @Endo
With Endo being new and all to Terrasphere, he thought getting started with a quest would be harder than this. But, it was actually pretty simple. He actually had a chance to get into some actual action. His aeromancy was weak, so was his ranged ability, so this was his first chance to improve as well. He was doing what he regular thing, chilling and drinking water. trying to hydrate as that is the least viable thing you could do when a woman appeared to his left. This must've been Ferishteh, who the server had informed him about earlier on. Endo turned his head her direction and gave a nice smirk back to her. "Hi, It's Endo by the way." He nodded and got up from where he was sitting form. "I guess you could say i'm new, but I have spent a few hours in this place." He turned around and looked out the window to his left. There he looked down at the map he was given for the quest, and saw the general direction of where he was supposed to be headed. He turned towards the door, walking towards it, and opening it, holding it open for his partner. "Ready?" @Ferishteh
