Private - Wooges and Stooges

  1. Zelrius had returned to the rolling fields and open farms known as Brisshal for the first time in quite a long while. It was funny, for a time he had called this place home, yet, hadn't been here since he had set out toward Astorea sometime ago. Though the timeline was vague to him; so many things had blended together those days and counting them was hardly possible, especially since he spent many full days within Terra itself, and as little time as he could get away with in the real world. Nowadays, he legitimately only spent as much time as it took to get his basics done, and then it was back into Terra. He was reminded of his early days, though not that far back, here in Brisshal, when he would spend tiny spinets of time in the game at a time, frustrated with the learning curve, and even more so with his dead end life.

The memory of his life caused the golden haired man to instinctively tug at his long sleeves, pulling them down as far as he could; a habit he had picked up in recent years due to other things. Still, it was something that he had not done in a while, the sleeve tugging. He had simply been too preoccupied, enjoying his time in Terra far too much. Between the meeting with D'Vangelline outside of Dormont, the meeting he had with the elf afterward, the rescue mission, his time on the island with Vina dealing with Pirates, and the recent Investigation he undertook with Kijin, life in Terra always seemed to remain quite interesting. He had no need nor want for other things right now, his true goals staying in his mind.

It was with this that Zelrius was reminded exactly why he was back into the place he originally called home here in the game. The man always strove for power and greatness, and there was no better way to do that then to always be busy. And the easiest way to forever be busy, the man concluded, was to listen to what NPCs had to say always. In his mind's eye, the man saw a conversation he had with a Farmer from the area not that long ago, asking about various things to do, and was given a task list, but was then quickly whisked away from this quest by the information that the Princess De Falder was in Astorea. Knowing that was his only chance to catch her out in the open for a meeting her took it. It was a damned good thing he did, because his assumptions about all of it were right. She was a busy woman, as a princess would be, and even more so because she was a supposed Revolutionary. Or Rebel? To be honest Zelrius didn't know the difference.

Yet he didn't need to know or care, just that she was in a position of power. And in that position of power gave him two things, one physical and one intangible. The Physical; A golden handkerchief that the tall swordsman wore as an accessory piece around his collar. The Intangible coming with it; Hope and a Dream. The hope that there was more to this game afterall, and that maybe for once in his life, the young man could actually accomplish something and impress somebody. Her only stipulation was that he needed to be worth a damn.

So Zelrius tried and tried to be worth a damn, finding himself among the open air and now cold winds of Brisshal. It was strange, when he had first logged in the air was dry and warm, and every day that went by, the winds got stronger and colder. He opened his inventory to check his meters of needs, making a mental note that the game seemed to follow not only time of day, but also seasonal concepts. Truly amazing, was his only thought in reference to this game, and it seemed he was reminded of the fact that Terra appeared to be a master piece almost on a daily basis. It was here in Brisshal that the golden haired man had found he performed the best, had gotten the most grinding of his Masteries done and met the most people. Today was no different, he intended to find some wolves, and possible slay them, now armed with some pretty stellar equipment. Last time, all he had were his Copper and Iron swords, this time, it was the nicely crafted and forged Sabre, and even better; the oh so nice Outlaw's Cutlass that he had bought from a Treasure store back on Druuk.

He roamed the woods now, an ear open and his step light, avoiding every dried leaf and every petrified tree branch. The man never had gone hunting in his life, but he saw now why it was most ideal for men to do so during the late Autumn and Winter. Other than the crackling beneath your feet, it was the easiest way to stay hidden; Most of the foliage had fallen from the trees and was now on the ground, laid low and able for Humans to manipulate. And so the man stalked, through the woods, Sabre in each hand, bent toward the leaves under his feet, only light crackling following each movement. Within maybe half an hour of hunting, the man saw his now prey; A grey wolf standing alone, hunched over chewing at something. He took this opportunity to watch it for the moment, really hoping that nothing would scare it away before he could force it to engage him in battle.

  2. It was amazing, this game was a miracle for her and she was so eager to boast how she could walk again, Lorelei was walking through the woods with no equipment at all. This had some people wondering what she was doing and if she had any sort of combat masteries at all. Well due to her love of fighting games, she certainly did have combat in mind when she first logged in, she was going to prove herself as a martial artist in this game even if she may never walk again. It made her a bit depressed making her stop her walk in the woods for only a moment but she looked to one of the nearby trees and took a stance, brought her right fist back and threw a punch at the tree, while it was apparently a rather young tree...it still hurt to hit it. She looked to her hand and saw the red marks, it was really realistic but she took her stance again and this time she spun for a kick with her left leg causing the tree to shake.

To be able to loose her legs again was more than great, she loved it, it was addicting and thus she tried to spend as much time as she could in Terra, it was the feeling in her legs that made it all worth it. Lorelei felt as if the accident never happened and now she was going to see how far she could push herself. So she was off to hunt, with her bare hands and her targets were any and all wolves she could find. As she stalked through the forest she eventually came to a small clearing and saw a wolf hunched over and munching on some prey, a recent kill too. Lorelei got ready to sprint for the wolf and as soon as she was ready she began to sprint as fast as she could towards the wolf.

With each step she took she drew closer to her mark, when she was finally close enough she attempted to grind to a halt and slam her foot up into the wolf's chest and if she was able to launch it high enough she'd then attempt to axe kick the canine predator back down to the ground. If not she'd still be up for a fight as she had memorized so many fighting moves over the years that she could do probably imitate a fair few of them. While she was attacking though she saw someone off to her right, a blonde man who looked like he was a fair bit stronger than here and if he was then perhaps she just stepped into something she probably couldn't handle.
