  1. Spring started to trickle into NYC, the trees started to blossom once more, the snow was melting, and people were twitterpated. Spring was the season of fertility and being reborn into the world. While it was still pretty chilly outside from winter's remnants, Vega wore a jacket over her clothing and kept her hands in the pocket to keep them warm. Her almost lifeless eyes stared at nothing particular as she stood there waiting to cross the street. New York was always so busy, so many people coming and going. Vega was in the middle of all this, just absorbing all the faces and then spitting them out one after another. She sighed as she curled her fingers towards her head and smoothed out the ebony strands of hair.

She wanted to get away from the humdrum motion of the city and she found a quiet little cafe where she could just chill and relax for a little bit. Feeling the warmth within, Vega enjoyed the scent of the fresh brewed coffee and asked for a cup and a muffin to go with it. Might as well enjoy this while she could before heading home. Finding a corner seat, the lithe woman sat down and started to peel the jacket from her body. A black turtleneck was revealed as the jacket slipped off, and a pair of tight jeans with some sneakers completed her ensemble. Vega was not exactly a girly-girl, and dressed more for comfortant than designer looks.

Taking a sip of her coffee, the girl pulled out her cell phone and connected to the store's free wifi and started to just browse the web. A soft backdrop jazz station was playing in the speaker of the cafe giving the store a very peaceful atmosphere. She felt cozy and warm, snuggled up in her turtleneck as she just browsed the news for anything of interest. Her cell phone was not the latest model, but it was a convenient device when she was out and about. There was a small Mario Star charm attached to a small chain on her phone that dangled about as she scrolled, clicked and swiped while occasionally sipping her coffee and eating bits and pieces of her muffin. @Alric Stalwart
