Personality
In his day-to-day life, Blake is no different from most adolescent youths. He has a sense of humor that may be deemed as childish to those who are older, finding laughter in trivial jokes and mishaps. Blake is also fixated fairly much on himself, caring a lot about his personal image and how others see him. He aspires to be viewed in a positive light, like most people, but the reputation that he has in mind is close to a knight-errant, someone who paves their own way while making the world a better place as they go along. If he comes across someone having a bad day he will try and brighten it whether his efforts are wanted or not. While he is willing to perform good things he is not afraid to attach a price to them. Concerned little with monetary gain, he desires most respect and praise for his merits and is validated by what he receives.
In-game, Blake takes the approach of a serious roleplayer using his character Zan as an opportunity to adopt a persona that embodies what he considers to be his ideal self while attempting to be a different individual altogether. As Zan, his idealism is amplified and he becomes vocal about his beliefs and intentions so he can make them clear to whoever he meets. He will seldom back down when challenged preferring to always attempt to overcome a formidable obstacle or foe rather than giving up, an option that he deems the easy way out. Overall, Blake was inspired by the archetypical ronin samurai when crafting Zan.
