Korra let out a mellow chuckle, Korra cleared her throat slowly before finally responding with a gentle tone. It wasn't simply answering, it was a soft song she spoke using the gentle tapping of Parvati's heart as a tender beat as she murmured the lyrics gently. "They are no good for me no more, they don't know how to love without a war. A disease without a cure, they wanna hurt just a little-- hurt just a little more. They were casually cruel, were your training wheels and april's fools, but your tolerance is full; Don't wanna hurt anybody-- hurt anyone no more~" Her words were soft and gentle, but she spoke using the things Parvati told her as inspirations. "And it's just a pity watching you're pretty smile so worn~ And while you're already halfway out the door: They'll go and kiss you say they were busy; 'Honey I lose my cool when I get emotional'~" Her song finished and she tried to reach for Parvati's hand softly in an effort to hold it through the song's end. "Something like that right? Torn between so many things, it's hard to find a direction to move in when you're being pulled in so many directions." She explained her song worried that Parvati might not understand. Rather then badgering that point though, she tried to relax her snuggling and simply rested her head against her before letting out a soft sigh. "It's best if you let go for a while, simply focus on yourself. Try new things, explore you know? Then you'll be able to figure things out for yourself right?" She explained with a content smile, though there was a faint flash of playful selfishness as she continued thinking and voiced a playful continuation with a smile. "You could stay with me and we could explore together hm?" She offered with a coy wink trying to be welcoming even though she had cute ulterior motives.
@Korra Quinn Parvati was once more taken in by Korra's song. She could only stare at her in shock, mouth wide open while her eyes were also wide. What she sang was true, a lot of it was true in fact. She didn't think the bard would be able to know what went on through her head, or knew what it was like to live with the family she had. She was pretty much stunned by the whole affair. After the song was finished, she closed her mouth and blinked for a little bit. "...Good song," she murmured quietly, "And true. Yes, I am lost and life is hard, but I must get through it in the end, yes?" She sighed as she closed her eyes. Try new things? She could possibly do that, though she wasn't sure how she was going to do it. Oh well, she'll figure it out sometime later. Parvati made a humming noise of thought when listening to Korra's last words. "Hm...perhaps, perhaps not," she said with a shrug, "I do not mind your company, story singer. It is men that I hate, they are..." She frowned as she pushed the thought aside. "But yes, I do not mind your company. I have no knowing if we should look together, however. You are busy, yes?"
Korra giggled a little, it wasn't hard to put together those things from Parvati's occasional grim expressions, but the song itself might help change some of that Korra hoped. After all, her experiences helped her with understanding people a great deal. Though when she mentioned getting through it to the end, Korra would lift a hand to try and delicately shush her with a fingertip. "Through it to the end of the hardship, but not the end of life. The important part-- Is living your life, not living someone else's planned life for you right?" She explained with a bright smile hoping she would make sense to the tanned amazon. Though hearing her talk without commitment, Korra was neither surprised nor dissuaded. She found hope in Parvati's words even as she hummed in answer to her question about being busy. "I have nothing but time for a woman in need dear. If you want my time, I'll give it just for the asking yes?" She explained brightly, after all, Korra was rather easy when it came to living life, the things she needed were few, so the work she had to do was few. Her time was spent on girls, and Parvati was naturally one of those she would endeavor to spend time on. If she was busy at all, it would be trying to have these experiences, so why refuse? "You can come find me any time and we can explore a little together and when we get tired, we can camp out just like this, and curl up in the warm bag through the night just like today. Doesn't that sound nice?" She offered with a bright and hopeful grin.
@Korra Quinn Parvati blinked in surprise at the finger coming close to her lips, but then she grunted when the bard said not to live someone else's life. True, she was sent here by her mother, but she had done nothing but live her own life...without much direction. She needed a step into the right direction and she hoped she would find it soon. Another grunt as Korra said she had all the time in the world for women and that they should camp out together some time. "I will think on it, story singer," she said, "Though idea does sound pleasant. Perhaps we can, say, try some fishing if there are any places with fish? I have no knowing if there is a lake or river close by, though." She snuggled deeper into the bag and gazed at the dark sky. It seemed like night had come, bringing with it the stars and the moon. She didn't see what was so special about the sky, still, though it was a good indicator of what time it was. She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, taking in the warmth Korra exuded.
Korra nodded back at Parvati's thoughts, it certainly did sound pleasant for a lot of reasons, but the fact that Parvati had to think on it made her a little sad at heart. Was her presence so unbearable? This playful thought didn't last though, instead she nodded back in understanding and resignation, at least she wouldn't try to force the girl. "It does doesn't it? I do know some good places to fish, but I've only ever done it by hand. How about you?" She asked wondering how Parvati fished, Korra didn't usually use tools for fishing and ripped them out of the water by hand. Though when Parvati snuggled in for sleep, Korra did the same, rather then into the bag though, she snuggled and curled up into Parvati, sharing her mellow warmth with the girl while resting her cheek against her chest contently. Occasionally through the night, if Parvati was awake, she'd feel Korra snuggling in a bit further but otherwise, Korra would sleep well next to someone else. By the morning if the girl didn't struggle in her sleep or stop her before falling asleep, her arms might even end up wrapped around her waist clinging to her gently through the night.
