Levi Ishrat Race: Human Age: 20 Sex: Male Sexuality: Pansexual Relationship: Single Height: 5’6” Build: Slender | Lithe Personality A mind built like a labyrinth, but the trick is that there are more ways out than just one. Levi’s mind is melded to operate on the system of solving problems efficiently and at great pace. He has developed incredible patience and wisdom much farther beyond his years, much of which is attributed to sheer brilliance. That said, he possesses a relative outlook on life of which comes with great empathy for mortals. He wears this mask that emanates a sense of stoic serenity, however it is the Levi that possesses a cold-blooded attitude, becoming a merciless combatant with the predatory facet to match, that trumps his psyche. While on the surface he is calm and collected, among the brightest of strategists in understanding and tact, this mask shatters when faced in a combat scenario in which he becomes a relentless hunter and predator, stalking his prey until they enter into his little spider web; until they prance their way into his elaborately designed labyrinth. Positive: Tranquil, Wise, Admirable, Peaceful, Empathetic Negative: Predatory, Deceptive, Blunt, Methodical, Relentless Biography Levi Ishrat lived among a mother who spent a large portion of her time in alchemy. She possessed little magic, but was adept in creation of potions, liquors and poisons of all different brews. His mother also spent plenty of time training the boy in the way of stitching wounds and tending the ill. This developed the early workings of Levi’s occupational ambitions as a doctor and an alchemist. He became a decent surgeon in time, and was learning swiftly how to craft potions and poisons. Though it is ultimately this life that also led him down the road of shambles he walks in now. Several years into his life, at the impressionable age of nine, when he had returned to the family shop after a morning of education, he caught wind of a broken window and the shop door flung wide open. Upon entering, he saw only the body of his mother, decapitated, lying in a pool of her own blood. This sickened Levi, but even more so, delighted his internal monster. While he was not bred from early life to destroy, he felt this sickening urge many times to hurt others. Not necessarily humans, but rather others he deemed were threatening from an instinctual basis. This dormant trait was now blossoming as justification sprang to life. Using the daggers his mother wore as ornaments on her waist, and threading the string wrapped in his dress that was now dyed crimson, he fashioned wired daggers that he could use to fight from a range. Though, this was only a start, as he had not much a clue where to pursue his mother’s murderers. What did they look like? Who did they work for? What was their motive? All of these things began to squander his murderous intent, now drowned with the fear this vengeance will never be paid. He spent hours tracking people, stalking them. Civilians mostly, unaware of his very presence. He would practice, spending minutes, hours, sometimes several days with his eyes trained on their existence in order to train himself to track people. He developed his senses, using his tongue, ears, eyes, nose and touch to discern locations of people and even began to keep tabs on the people he was stalking. Eventually caught by members of the Guild, he was faced with a task to remove this transgression. In order to pay back his debt, he was trained as a scout to keep watch on troublesome Familia and other freelancers, told to deal with them in the most efficient way possible. This allowed Levi to knock out two birds with one stone. He started off slowly, tactfully. Breaking up bar fights and taking care of the young one’s who were left astray within a bad home. He even developed a small part-time occupation working with people who were wounded, tending to them and becoming a second-rate doctor. His surgery skills were impeccable and precise, it was just level of diagnosis he was left to practice for most of the time he spent there. It was not until an incredibly fateful night a year later, however, that he found his original wish come true. Atop the roof of a tower, roughly at eleven at night, he located a group of men terrorizing a small boy and his mother. The men brandish daggers and a large executioner’s axe. A peculiar weapon, and generally not that effective in combat. It was not until he recognized the pattern here that his mind focused from an observational persona, to a deathly one. He leapt from the tower, climbing down the edged out bricks from its very construction to reach the ground floor as quickly as possible. He was unseen, as usual. The men on the ground began to antagonize, threatening the life of the woman. Levi seethed, realizing who these men were. That axe was going to be used in the beheading of this woman as they killed her and did who knows what else. As if all rational logic was saturated by aggression, Levi produced his threaded daggers, releasing it at the back of the presumed leader’s neck. Within moments, it sliced the air around it as it pierced directly through the flesh of the man, crushing the spinal cord and relieving him of his life. With the same motion in reverse, Levi throttled the dagger back through the original wound of the man to returned his bload-soaked dagger to him. He then approached the men who were now in mortal fear, the woman and child now soaked in the spraying blood of the dead man. “You’re safe now,” Levi whispered, his eyes revealing deathly intent. One man ran, but the one who wielded the giant axe was unable to escape now. As his feet chanced taking him away, Levi produced a set of needles from a pouch strapped to his thigh, releasing them at the man and too debilitating him, before methodically cutting his veins and arteries with his own daggers. The Guild knew of this, and rather take blame for his transgression, outcasted him back into the world under the oath that now his vengeance was sated, he would take no other lives. He simply smiled, as if for once in his live, with a nod. “I promise.” The Guild left him to his devices, under this restraint. Over time he developed a regular psyche, becoming a very intelligent individual and even showing signs of maturity significantly beyond his years, as if the act of lifting this terrible burden left at his youngest age was the release on his true form. Or, so it seems. From this time on, he has not spilled blood on his hands, though the temptation rises every so often. Until then, he walks the world with the wisdom of life and death, understanding their essences and that while the innocence of life is so prevalent, the destruction death can bring is a drug all in its own. This is a lesson he learned, after pursuing several years more of education during his years as a scout. He now pursues supporting and adventuring in the hopes of quelling his murderous initiative on other monsters, instead of other people. The skill only activates once Levi has mentally "marked" a target or targets as prey. His own senses work in accordance with each other to detect a target from incredibly long distances, as well as being able to refer smells to his taste index, and sounds to his sight. Some examples of this are his ability to hear one's shadows moving, or be able to discern someone's scent by the taste of things they've touched. This makes any one sense capable of being used as all five in a heightened state, making him incredibly perceptive when pertaining to tracking a specific target, with increasing potency when tracking prey or targets he has previously encountered, or that have not noticed him yet. Shah’ze Ka Stance: Vulture Gore [active, offensive] One of Levi’s specific attack patterns, he can assume a stance in which he must heavily concentrate on a specific target, increasing his accuracy to nearly pinpoint, allowing for critical attacks from a range with his wired daggers and other thrown objects, such as needles or throwing knives. However, Levi must sacrifice much of his mobility to compensate for such intense accuracy. This tactic is significantly stronger when at a sizable range with much ground for the opponent to cover, as it is incredibly difficult to approach an opponent volleying deadly objects your way at high speeds with large premise for lethal outcomes. That said, he is nearly immobile in this state, only able to take very confined steps at intervals of time, otherwise exiting the state completely. Equipment Weapons: Hidden: Passer & Volturius Levi's pair of ornate daggers that his mother carried around, wrapped by extremely long wire threads that he wraps around his arms to give immediate access to at all times, even when concealed. Currently they are much better used for things like disarming with the wire, or striking an opponent with the dagger than anything else.
