To the front gates of Khaos was where the Void had brought a young prophet. According to Inan’s tome of Gods, it is here among wealthy and “noble” that the Goddess has made her earthly domain. This seemed like a strategic choice of location to Inan since the high-class always are the easiest type of individuals to consume in the throes of chaos and the disaster that comes upon their descent is usually the most pitiful. Now that Inan was here, it was time to devise a way to get Khaos’ attention - perhaps a show of lust for chaos? No, that would be much too obvious. For a bit, Inan allowed his eyes to gaze about like he was a lost puppy in search of a home before he decided to walk over and have a seat on the castle gate. While he sat, he patiently waited for Khaos while continuing to think of a plan to get her attention. What made the task difficult was the fact that Khaos is said to be something of a jester grasping on thin pieces of twine. A tired sigh escaped Inan’s lips. It was nice that he had finally have gotten the chance to sit and rest for a bit. Walking for so long does tend to take a toll on his despicable flesh but Inan would be lying if he said that he’d rather not meander in the gullies preaching the word of the Void to lost sheep. For so long now, Inan has remained stealthy and subdued that having put on an open show like this was something of a break of routine. Thoughts of the Liberator permeated Inan’s mind as the young black sheep wondered what could have happened that caused the entity of the Void to split into three different beings. Perhaps if Inan knew that then he’d be half way close to finding out how to prevent such a atrocity from happening again.
It would be a not so good a day for the primordial goddess today. Nobles had made her waste way too much time doing really, really, really boring activities. None of which had any entertainment value. Since her first landing on Earth. Khaos had made one of her objectives to gain the attention and get in close with the most powerful of the mortal world. The nobles and royals quickly proved to be those people. Khaos had plans to turn the world into her personal playroom of madness (it already was to her at a lesser degree) and the more starting power she had the better. Unfortunately it led to some... less than fun obligations and because of the nature of her familia. She could not always count on Adele to do it for her. Attending to nobles questions, parties, and other stuff was interesting at first. She could have made them all fun too, but only so many times would she get the chance to do the kinds of things she did with that blonde Gwendolyn spawn. So today she had to entertain herself at a more modest level. Such things usually put her in a destructive mood quickly. Khaos exited the exotic estate of a certain Oarian Duke. Making her way back she awaited her carriage. Adele usually was spot on with the timing, but sometimes she showed at less convenient times. Which was wonderfully unpredictable as long as Khaos's mood was good. Khaos waited now with a tapping foot as she stood waiting outside the gate. Her garb was her normal attire. Although, today she held a long walking stick that she spun around like a baton as she grew in boredom. She liked these rod like things and was considering picking up a weapon that was similar in the future. Not to far away was a dark haired mortal that she did not recognize. Well, not every little one of these spawn could register on her radar. @Inan Alburex
And thus, Inan’s eyes would meet with that of the Goddess of Chaos, and in that same instant Inan’s smile widened. “You’re not supposed to have made your entrance yet.” The young prophet stood up and eyed Khaos with eyes as black as the abyss itself. How should he approach her? Well at this point, Inan decided to simply go with the flow of things and see just how this filthy jester heathen will react. “Oh dear, I must say this is something of a surprise. You appearing here and me without a proper plan on how to greet you. Maybe I’m not as smart as I thought? Oho ho ho~” Inan chuckled as he slowly yet casually approached Khaos. “Then again, not every human being is as smart as they claim to be. Of course you may already know that, wouldn’t you mistress?” The youth would stop halfway toward Khaos and turned his head forty-five degrees to the left and a soft blush added color to his face as he suddenly thought about the Liberator to achieve such an effect while his knees buckled against each other. “Oh embarrassing. How embarrassing! I’m so stupid, sad and lonely. No one will accept me, so will you please accept me and if you do I’ll let you do anything to me.” It was then Inan snapped right back to his original bland, inscrutable self. “Oh ho ho ho, I was thinking about going with that route but I wasn’t sure If I can play that part too well. So I thought maybe…” Inan straightened his stance and his once dull eyes turned into those of one fueling with hatred as he stuck the middle finger out at the Goddess thus reflecting his discuss for all things. “….To just do whatever I want and have everyone grovel before me as I let the world evolve under pure chaos!” Inan twirled on his left foot, held his hands up and looked up at the sky. “Oh ho ho ho, but with that route I’d run out of stuff to say really quickly. Oh man, I’ve known myself to be somewhat foolish but if I acted everything out then surely I would be found out sooner than later since Gods and Goddesses aren’t exactly foolish beings, right? Well not all of them, right? I would totally be punish on the spot right!?” And so Inan continued to walk closer to Khaos until she could practically feel his breath on her. “Oh ho ho~ So I’ll just be candid. Can I join you? Pretty please with delicious treats on top?” The youth would inch even closer as if he was going to kiss her. "Can you make me feel something?" @Khaos
The mortal boy jumped up and immediately swarmed her with comments. She simply spun the rod nonchalantly. Khaos did not seem too interested in him, at least not right now. Her mood was too soured from a previous situation she had just tied up. This would pass over as the encounter continued. "Really now...?" Khaos said picking up some very odd traits about this one. His eyes seemed to lack something. It was as if he was pretending to be a human when in truth he had lost a major part of what makes things... real. The deity felt chaos from him, but it seemed distorted in a way different than she was used to seeing. It was a familiar feeling but the goddess did not care to dwell at this moment. It was beginning to pluck at her interest ever so slowly however. "Smaaaart? Ignorant is a universal WORD to describe most of you. You approach Khaos and THINK you can charm her with your antics?" Khaos cocked her head and stopped spinning the rod. Smashing it into the ground as she leaned onto it. The ground cracked a little from the impact. Her eyes peered into his. As if trying to see why his energy came off so uniquely to her. Was he undead? No... not even undead felt this way. "Playing parts isssss something you DO often though... riiiight? Khaos sees a lack OF something important. You want to BE FILLED with chaos? Find meaning toooo your existence? That is admirable spawn. It does look like youuuu have something deeply missing innnn your soul. Khaos does not WANT her spawn to feel empty but to only feel as much as possible in this world." Khaos's eyes became slits as he directly asked to join her and spoke of punishing gods and such. It would be fun indeed to cause the gods strife. Her children often did that for her, but any mortals that wanted to cause some damage to something that could turn them to ash was always worthwhile for her to watch. More and more god slayers and god wannabes, seemed to be showing up lately... it was probably getting to be one of the more crowded cycles of them. "Gods will always be ignorant of the TRUTH just like you spawn. Khaos has neverrrr yet MET someone who so openly expresses such desire AS you, yet also lackssss the same chaotic energy of others. You are a abnormality... Khaos likes THAT." She dropped the rod like it was nothing but garbage and rubbed her hand on the young man's cheek. Holding his chin elegantly as she stared at him. "You want to joinnnn a very special club little spawn. FIRST you must know that no one is allowed to know who you serve... if IT is learned. You would havvvve to leave this world." The chaotic god whispered in a multilayered hiss. Moving around him and draping her arms over his shoulders as she continued to coo into his ear. "Now, now, nowwww then.... what is the name of this lost lamb? Seeking to fill the vooooid in his heart with the true nature of life?" Khaos continued to hang on him like a schoolgirl who found her sweetheart. @Inan Alburex
Infinite in delightfulness was the soft and sinister words of the jester. The blissful silence that permeated throughout Inan’s own mind was interrupted by an eruption of converging laughter that the sheep with no true wool has allowed to enter his mind. With it, his expression morphed into that of sheer joy as if he truly wished to embrace Khaos for all time. “Name? Wha- Oh, that old thing? Inan, mistress. Inan Alburex.” Oh how beautiful, so beautiful is the folly of the jester and it’s fangs. The youth could almost sense it from Khaos’ skin as she wrapped her arms around him– the thousands of hands reaching out for anything and everything. “Yes, that’s all I want. Someone to reach out and seek to find…” In the next moment, Inan rose up to his toes and proceeded to kiss Khaos’ forehead. “…me?” And to seek him out where the young prophet always wished to be sought. So far things seemed to be going smoothly and the northern wind came to feel as such. A snicker then escaped Inan’s lips before he lowered his head too try and slip out of Khaos’ grasp. “…Or something like that.” And with that the young prophet twirled to turn his back to the Goddess. “Man, acting like a pig in heat is exhausting. Funny but exhausting.” The youth took a few steps forward and bent backwards to meet Khaos’ gaze again. “So now what? I’m kind of new to this sort of thing so… I’m not sure if I….” Inan’s eyes widen as if a lightbulb was just turned on. “Oh!” He twirled and held up his right arm like an enthusiastic student. “Mistress, Mistress! Is this the part where I punk the cat? Or...Or...Or.....Ummm. Cabbage! Donate cabbage to b*tches and whores!! Oho ho ho ho ho~” Truth be told, Inan always wondered what it was like to kick a cat. He imagined it that it might have rather precious squeal but for some reason, he could never find the motivation to look for one. @Khaos
"Inan, Inan, Ianaaaan! It's a fun name to saaaay with mortal lips hehehe." Khaos was pleased with this one, at least for now. His kiss on her forehead sent a spark through her that was both the usual thrill from affection and something else... it actually kinda disturbed even her, she that could not be disturbed, for she was already there. What was this? Why did this puny spawn give such strange familiarity? It was like something Khaos forgot... rejected... yet at the same time, it was a new thing for her, so she enjoyed this experience. His next antics brought a laugh from the goddess. It was perfect, too perfect! He was overacting but it was still fun to watch! How marvelous for someone to finally play along! It had been awhile since her last chaotic truly encounter. Khaos would clasp her hands to her face and shake it as if continuing her school girl gushing act. Her shoulders shook as she spoke through her laughter which seemed to be suddenly mixed with tears of sadness. "Heheha.. sob, heHAhaha! You would do such things? How terrible, sob, how horrible, yet also you forget to place seeds first! sob... HEhehah, SEEDS! Or at the veryyyyy least burn everyone's bread...." See revealed her face now which grinned with tears. She walked past him hurriedly as if he was not even present. "Khaos wants to see something now. The home of discord. Pandemonium lays beyond THOSE green grassy things called plains or whatever around thissss wonderful little mortal playpen." She began to spin non stop as she walked on. Not becoming even the slightest bit dizzy. She continued to pick up speed and out stretched her arms as she looked to the sky. "Can youuuuu make it raiiiiiin Inaaaaaan? Can youuuuu make it snowwwww or quuuuuuake? Khaos would liiiiike to see sommmmmmething like that... a wonderrrrrrful raaaaain of atrophyyyyy that will bring people unnnnnnto madnessssss!" She stopped just as fast as she started. Now facing him with a dark look. Followed immediately with a happy smile like a ten year old girl. "Bring Khaos a offering of madness. It has to be exciting annnnd dangerous! But unpredictable as well!" She began to walk backwards as she continued speaking sweetly with very little distortion in her voice. "No basic murder, no boring weapons, noThing that would have anY degree of order. It should be simple... play along aNd your wIsh to be empoWered by Khaos will be granted... heHehA maybe." Khaos stopped looking cute and now looked highly tense. Running a hand down her face as she closed her eyes just to reopen them and glare at Inan Alburex. Now she looked extremely calm for a chaos god. This spawn would be tested and she would also spend some time finding out exactly what it was that she felt about him. This would be a nice distraction from her usual. If anything, Khaos loved a good deal of distraction from the mundane the everyone tried to create all the time. "So Inan. Spawn of chaos. What COLOR rain will you bring to this world? What WILL it taste LIKE? Your origin awaits your offering AND blesses you for your desire to appease her." Khaos would wait and see how he responded and see if he would leave her to fulfill her demands or not... truly it was anyone's guess if she would be pleased or furious with anything he did next. @Inan Alburex
Origin? The young prophet’s abyss black eyes focused in on Khaos and for a moment he simply stared at her with his smile that seemed to be permanently fixed on his face. Origin? Such tripe. Truly this is a test of his faith in the void. For a moment, the smile was small but like crevices that suddenly cut through glass was how Inan’s smile widen. The sheep with no wool waved his hand as if he was saying good-bye. “….And when the viper speaks, the rabble listens. Let her delicious poison be the cure to the guard dogs incessant barking…” The youth hissed mostly to himself as he holds his raised hand to his heart before he turned his back to the Goddess to pursue his mission. Although it was not unexpected, it was still a shame that he was going to have to subscribe to such pointless degradation as chaos. On the other hand however, Khaos fills him with such unnecessary anger and so, as per tradition, the young prophet must drain himself. “And may true freedom be the way for all.” Ugh Insolent drivel. The youth had to remind himself that chaos was just another monotonous chain. It was funny. How those who pursue chaos claim to want to be free from the dull, pointless life that comes from order but end up finding nothing but more chaos until they decay and die. No, Inan had no intention of giving anyone such falsehoods of chaos. Instead, the thing to do is preach about the void a bit more but leave out some important bits. Doing so will lead to despair and in despair, sheep tend to do anything to get themselves out of it. No, no. That won’t do. There needed to be something more to earn Khaos’ trust. One or two suicides simply won’t cut it…. @Khaos
