There seems to have been some uncertainty in regards of "how far" people are allowed to go when posting things that could be construed as sexual before the banhammer comes out (hint: it doesn't). Unlike free forums such as Proboards, InvisionFree, and Jcink, this board is in no way limited by third party regulations. This means that we have no reason to be strict and unreasonable when it comes to breaking the rules, and would much prefer to simply hand out warnings with the added expectation that you learn from them. However, since the topic has been brought up a few times already, I figured I would go right ahead and make you all a little Q&A that explains where we expect you to draw the line. If you have any questions, please comment below! (^_^) Question: What is smut? Answer: Smut refers to graphic sex of any kind. Question: So... where do I draw the line? Answer: This one is difficult to answer. What constitutes graphic sexual acts is different for everyone, but for the sake of clarity, let me put it in the (in)famous words of Rin Tohsaka from Fate/Stay Night: if you take the p*n*s and jam it into the vag*** - you have gone too far and will receive a warning as a result. The same rule applies to "giving someone a helping hand" in a sexual context. Question: Can my character be a nudist? Answer: Of course! Public nudity is far from banned on Dungeon RP! In the world of DanMachi, however, things work a bit differently... So if you don't mind spending your time in the local penitentiary for public indecency, as well as a distinct lack of socialization with others in-character, go right ahead! Question: I caught myself a prisoner and need to press him for information. Is it okay to torture him? Answer: Absolutely! Be advised, though, that we do limit character death. We also urge you to ask your partner for permission before engaging in any violent acts. Bear in mind, that some things leave physical marks, so always make sure to ask before you cut off any fingers or brand them for life with an iron poker. Question: I make a lot of sexual innuendos in-character. Should I be worried about getting banned? Answer: Not in the least! Whether it's for comic relief or as a way of flirting with that hot new character someone recently made, one of the best ways to get character development is to get the character out of their comfort zone. And why not have some fun doing it? It is also very difficult to get yourself banned. Warnings are a much more likely result which will teach you what not to do again. Question: X is making a lot of (in-character) sexual advances towards Y and it's making me uncomfortable. What do I do? Answer: Well, first of all, you did the right thing asking us or coming here to find the answer. Unwanted attention is, of course, a matter we take seriously. We suggest that you politely ask the person to refrain from continuing their behavior. However, if this does not work, you are very welcome to ask us to take care of the situation.
