Adventurers
-
- At Dungeon RP, combat is not determined by dice rolling; stats and levels are a part of the setting and not meta information.
- If you are are not a part of any familia, you cannot update your character's status.
- As mortals, you cannot update your stats on your own. Request your patron/matron God to change them for you.
- You may not join the familia of an NPC you made up. You can only join any of the active Gods or any of Asch's active NPC Gods.
- Level up is one of the greatest change you'll ever go through, be sure to read about it.
- You do not need to start out as an Adventurer. You may take your time in-character to meet a God and RP'ing out your character joining his or her familia. This process does not change your application any other way, simply write "None" in the Familia section of the application. You will still get rewards from role-playing.
- (Important) You may trade Gold Pieces (GP) freely with anybody. However, do not trade Ability Points (AP) with anyone other than staff or your patron/matron God. We will check all logs weekly.
Birth Archetypes
All adventurers are born with either physical prowess or magical affinity. Magic is quite rare in this world, roughly 13-14% of the world population has access to Magic. Interestingly, mortals who exhibit no Magic at a young age (arms) may sometimes develop Magic during a Level up, or from extremely rare magical grimoires. Magic favors Elven genetics (not Dark Elves); however, not all Elves are born with the affinity for Magic.
Pick a starter package below. Note that those who pick arms may obtain Magic from leveling up, but they will never be as effective as those who are born with Magic.

Status
Basic Abilities:
With the exception of Magic, these are the basic stats everyone possesses from birth. The number is based on a person's life experience. One does not know what their stats are until one's patron god grant them Falna. After recieving Falna, one can start tracking these parameters and have a chance to Level up. Thematically, mortals have always been able to increase these stats. Without Falna, however, they can never level and go beyond their limit.

Ability Points:
Ability Points or AP are earned via role-playing. You will automatically get them after submitting your RP post. APs are used to increase Basic Abilities and Development Abilities. To update your stats, wait until you have at least 100 AP, then request your God to update your status for you. They will edit your stats in their own thread.
Each stat has a total of 10 ranks per level: with the lowest being [I], then [H] [G] [F] [E] [D] [C] [B] [A], and the maximum being [S]. To know which rank the stats are, we use the number range listed below.
I H G F E D C B A S 0-99 100-199 200-299 300-399 400-499 500-599 600-699 700-799 800-899 900-999
Updating Your Status
In order for you to update your status, you must first be a member of a familia and have at least 50 AP. To begin, simply contact your patron or matron god and tell them briefly how about the kinds of adventures you have been doing. It is up to the god to distribute your stats how they see fit. If you really want to focus on certain stats, convince them nicely. If your god frequently update your stats poorly, maliciously, or disregarding your description, the staff will intervene, simply contact us.
An example of this would be if your character has been doing a lot of running away, which means that you should be getting a boost in Agility; however, the god puts the points in everything else but Agility. This is not the purpose of the system, we will reprimand them.
Falna
Marking:
When you join a familia for the first time, your patron god will imprint the marking of Falna onto your back. From then on, your status can easily be read by said god. During this initial ceremony, the god may choose to seal the marking with blood so that it is not visible outside of the maintenance ritual. If not sealed, the marking will be visible on your back like a tattoo.
Progress:
All increments of stats are recorded by your Falna but do not apply until you undergo a status maintenance ritual, where your patron god unseal the Falna marking using a drop of their blood. Once they finish analyzing and administering the changes, you have your newly-gained status.

Supporters
Not everyone starts out as a full-fledged adventurer. Considering the danger of dungeoneering, most aspiring adventurers start out as a supporter, an adventurer-understudy or squire. As their name suggests, they travel alongside an experienced party and provide support in combat, but never taking on monsters alone. Out of combat, they collect and carry soul stones from slain monsters and the party’s equipment. At the end of an adventuring day, they usually get pay a fraction of what a full-fledged adventurer gets when they divvy the loot. Although the pay is crap, it’s a relatively safe way to learn the ropes from more experienced Dungeon-delvers.
It is important to note that supporters are regarded as bottom feeders and are often the subjects of hazing. Nearly all but the most talented adventurers had had to support. This tradition is meant to weed out the weak-willed, a rite of passage to prepare a fledgling adventurer for a life-risking career.
Do not use your own styling in your application or the staff will not look at it.

- If you are completing the app on the forum, you can submit the thread and the BBcode will be automatically formatted for easier editing.
- Word (.docx) user, after you finish editing your app in Word, make sure to copypaste it into notepad first before you paste it onto the forum editor. If you don't the formatting will be messed up.
- When you are editing your application in the future, avoid copying the application to a word processor because the formats will mess up.
