Crafting
  • Getting Started

In order to craft you must have one of the crafting development abilities listed below, you can grab them either by taking one of the crafting archetypes or during a Level up.

Why should you craft? It's the only way to access Items that are tailored specifically for your character. Crafted items are MUCH stronger than the generic items you get from the shop. Keep in mind that the user of crafted weapon still have to own a set of the generic before they can use crafted weapons.

To begin crafting, make a thread in the crafting forum. This first thread is where you can keep track of your crafted Items. Also, when you want to craft, you must post in one of the pinned threads. Do not, under any circumstances, edit these posts. If you do, the item will be removed and you will lose it permanently. Make sure your item is free of typos and mistakes before you submit them to the item archive. Next, make a thread using the template in that forum, that is your shop.

    • Blacksmithing: metal weapon
    • Metalworking: metal armor
    • Leatherwork: leather armor
    • Weaving: cloth armor
    • Carpentry: wooden weapon / furniture
    • Mixing (Alchemy) is currently not implemented yet and will be a future addition.

    Crafting Guide

To begin crafting, look at your rank in one of the crafting development abilities. If you are at F-rank, it means you can craft F-ranked Items and below. You can craft starting from i-rank.

Trait Points: This is basically your numerical rank (AP) in the crafting discipline. If you are at G 199, you have 199 trait points or (TP).

Trait: Every item has 3 stats that the crafter can assign. In order to figure out how many points you can assign, look at the rank your crafting is at. The amount is up to the rank of the item you're crafting plus any extra points. For example: if you are at F-rank (360) and you want to craft an F-ranked Sword, you have 360 points to distribute between the 3 stats. Traits should have a good distribution ratio for it to function well. Higher trait points means the Items is higher quality.

Item Weak Trait (/2) If a trait has a (/2) next to its name, it means that whatever trait points/ap you put into that trait will be divided by 2 (rounded down). For example, if I was creating a Sword and want it to be durable, it would cost me 50 AP to increase the sword's durability to 25.

Items Description: must be concise, Items may not glow or take on any kind of mystical appearance or properties, these traits are considered enchantments, which will be introduced in the future and are only for D-ranked Items and above.

Durability: while it may be tempting to skip item durability in favor of other exciting traits, DM's reserve the right to break Items with low durability in challenge threads.

Materials: are needed to craft Items. You may earn mats by venturing into the Dungeon. Adventurers may also give you their materials for you to use.

    Crafting Examples

Okay, let's say you have 300 AP (F-rank) in Weaving. A customer comes and demands you make him a G-ranked cotton cloak. So you need to get 30 ☉ (mats). Now, once you have 30 mats, you can craft the cloak. Okay, you have 299 points to allocate. You choose: Durability: 50 / Mind 100 / Magic: 99. It adds up to 299, because remember, durability costs double for light armor.

When you are done, this is what the Items looks like. Wine Thick Cloak [light, cloak, G] Durability: 50 / Mind 100 / Magic: 99. The cloak is wine-colored and light.

    Price Floor

In order to protect crafters, we will set the cheapest amount that crafted Items at each rank may be sold for. There is no price ceiling at the moment.

    • H-rank 50 for armor / 65 for weapons
    • G-rank 100 for armor / 120 for weapons
    • F-rank 250 for armor / 280 for weapons
