Quests
If you’re looking for direction for your RP, simply go to the Quest Pin Board and look through the list of quests. After you finish choosing the one you like, post in the thread letting the staff know so we can remove it from the list. It is up to you to form a group and go on it.
Rules:
- In a quest thread, YOU control the monster. The staff does not interfere with the story in anyway.
- Quests do not have a minimum amount of post you need to meet. You decide when to end the quest!
- Important: quests do not give you any bonus rewards. It simply provide you with goals and objectives.
- Remember that not all quests have to succeed, you can fail a quest if you would like, since there is no OOC penalty for failing a quest.
- Some quests may have a follow-up after your completion.
- Quests are ranked as follow: Easy, Medium, Hard
Challenges
Challenges are different than quest in the fact that a Dungeon Master controls the NPC and monsters and determine the success of your action. To get started, visit the DM Den and look for any thread that is open and join. The DM reserves the right to decline your entry.
Rules:
- Unless stated otherwise, all Challenges are death-enabled.
- Challenges give special rewards at the discretion of the DM. The rewards may not be listed before the thread finishes.
- Challenges do not have turn order. Everyone posts once before the DM post and continue the story.
- The DM may skip your turn if you cannot post within the time limit (e.g. 24 hours). They may also kick you for going inactive.
- Do not request or join a challenge if you cannot keep up with it.
Level Advancement Quest
This type of quest is only for the purpose of leveling; to Level up, you must complete one of these quests. In this thread, your character must successfully conquer a difficult challenge that physically or mentally pushes them to their absolute limit, leading to their growth as an adventurer. You can start this quest anytime you want before you Level up. You can read more about it on the Level up page.
Rules:
- This thread cannot be solo'ed.
- You must make a minimum of 5 posts in this thread with no less than 2500 words spread among them.
- Staff do not interfere with this quest.
- You cannot fail this quest.
