Preface
Equipment consists of 3 types: armor, weapons, and magical tools. Although you can only equip up to 5 pieces of armor, and up to 2 weapons at once, you can have as many equipment as you like in your inventory.
You cannot trade weapon, magical tools, or armor for gold or give them to other players for free.
Item's Rarity and mastery requirement indicates their quality. Rarer items requires higher level of mastery to equip them.

Important: Unlike other games, Terrasphere require you to have a weapon mastery, body combat, or magical tool, to equip them. Without them, your character can hold weapons, but cannot benefit from any stat or ability.
Rarity
Item rarity follows the graphic below.
- For weapon, your weapon or magical tool mastery must align with the rarity like in the diagram.
- For Armor and Accessory, simply use your highest mastery to determine if you can wear a certain rarity or not.
- Trash items are simply items that all characters start with or find in the first couple days of playing. OOC-wise, they do not go into your inventory; they are simply RP pretend items.
- Items that are Wondrous or beyond will only be obtainable when a character is reasonably established in the world and had had significant accomplishments.
Obtaining Equipment
You can get equipment through 3 ways:
NPC Shops | Outside of event reward, all players should be buying their equipment from NPC shops in the marketplace. |
Special Vendors | You will also be able to purchase unique equipment via special vendors that appear after a story event, raid, world boss, or dungeon. |
Loot | You can sign up to do Challenge or Treasure Chests to obtain loot. These are often very difficult and will put your character's life at stake. |
Buyback
When you purchase an item from the marketplace that replaces an item in your inventory, you may sell the defunct item back to the shop for 20% of its original price.
Trading
You can exchange ANY items with other players, provided the 2 items being traded are of the same rarity. E.g. An Exquisite Ring can be traded for Exquisite Gloves. Read the template in this forum to get started.
You cannot trade weapon, magical tools, or armor for gold or give them to other players for free.
Each trade will require BOTH party to pay a service fee
Poor: Cannot be traded | Fine: 30g | Exquisite: 90g | Wondrous: 270g
