Preface
Faction is an organization where players can meet and RP with those who share their goal and story interest. Unlike a guild in other games, the factions here are created by NPCs that inhabit the world and are often relevant in the main storyline. To make sure factions are always updated and active, we only allow characters to join of the three major factions even though more exists.
Individually, each faction have their own sub-plot, hierarchy, quests, and events, which are created and ran by the Dungeon Master presiding over it. The faction system is entirely optional and members are not required to join one.
Benefits
- Companionship with like-minded individuals
- Faction-specific plots
- Special quests
- Reputation with the faction
Reputation
Every faction has its own track of reputation that you can earn by helping their cause. Helping opposing factions may result in negative reputation.
Membership
To join a faction, post in the mod request and a mod will process it. If you would like to leave a faction, follow the same step. Keep in mind that leaving a faction may result in a reputation penalty with that faction.
