Spellbane

Spellbane gives the user the ability to suppress, nullify, or defend themselves against magic using a variety of skills. Warriors use this ability to interrupt magic skills, whereas magic users negate incoming damage through spells and barriers. The user is able to detect and identify the source of magic, as well as make estimations towards its power.

Awakened

Spell Thief allows the user to replicate and execute spells being used against them by identifying the source and spell being cast. If the user’s mastery level is equal to or higher than that of the spellcaster, they will be able to successfully execute this countermeasure. Each spell has a one time use.

Skill Examples

Magic Defense	These skills or spells increases the user's magic damage physically or otherwise, making tem able to tank magic damage more effectively.
Magic Disruption	These skills or spells specializes in interfering with magic caster.
Magic Investigation	This ability improves the user's ability to identify spells that are being cast and are observed by the user.
Magic Inferrence	(Awakened) This ability allows the user to inspect traces of magical residue left behind by magic that linger about half an hour after it has been cast. With this skill, they can identify the magic in great details, though it is not an exact science as the user may have to decipher and infer information that crop up.
Mimicry	(Awakened) This ability allows the user to copy an offensive spell targetting them if said spell is lesser or equal to their mastery tier. The user can then store this spell for however long they want, but stealing another spell will overwrite the spell they are saving.
