Preface
Vocations are essentially domestic skills that players develop within the game. In the game, mental vocations often carry over from the real world. For example, a player who works in finance in the real world would have commence, etc. Most players develop vocations that they learn from scratch while playing the game, however.
You are limited to 2 vocations. Considering that they don't have any mechanical benefit and are mostly meant to add to the roleplaying experience, you are not required to take them at all.
