Preface
The Ynglar Brotherhood is composed exclusively of magic practitioners. Although their agents often appear when phenomenon or catastrophe related to magic occurs, no one knows what their true goals are. Because of their private nature, the Brotherhood rarely interacts with non-members. However, they have been known to hire adventurers when they need muscles.
Compared to most organization, the Brotherhood is affluent enough that they have sub-headquarters all over the world called Coffer. These buildings are completely smooth and black on the outside, they do not have windows, and are built to keep non-members from accessing the inner-chambers. Most businesses are conducted in a common area accessible by walkways that go around the outer part of the building.
Despite the Brotherhood’s closed doors policy toward non-members, they are very receptive in conducting business, offering magic-related services. Many people seek their help regarding things such as artifact retrieval, or magical beast containment, and more. Although it is not their main priority, the Brotherhood also regulate the use of magic to keep the world safe. While they do not condemn dark magic, they do police highly destructive magic.
