Vintergard
Vintergard was once referred to as Castle Dormont, a massive bastion that stood at the of edge of Adecus Forest, keeping southerners south, and northerner north. The recent siege by Yladia has destroyed most of the castle, however, as a new King claimed the throne. Much still need to be done to turn this castle into the capital of the newfound Kingdom. For now, it remains the broken capital city of Astorea.
(City) Finweald
Finweald rests near the edge of the Adecus Forest, acting as one of the last hubs of civilization in the face of the woodland wilds. Residents are industrious and courageous, braving expeditions towards the heart of the forest to hunt, forage, and bring back materials to fuel a vibrant artisan economy. Fresh adventurers are always coming and going, stopping by the numerous armories and crafting stores just before they set off looking for danger. The political situation is a little less upbeat, though no less full of action: tension with Yladia weighs heavily on the minds of residents, since Finweald is the most prominent representative of Falderen in the region.
