Preface
The Lion’s Pride is a collection of adventurers who aspire to become heroes by doing good deeds and getting recognition for their achievements. Most of the Pride’s members meet this goal by helping the common people and fulfilling quests. They also mobilize en masse during times of calamity. Within the Pride, the members band form groups to compete with other groups for fame and the highest paying requests, though there is still a sense of unity among them.
Although there was a time when the Pride’s hero services were necessary to maintain peace and order in the world, that has died down once players started to populate in the world. Replaced by players, the Pride lost most of its funding and support of the people. On top of that, poor financial management have turned this once grand-standing organization to become a ghost of its former self.
Presently, there is but a single headquarter in Stokbon that remains. With a few members left, it won’t be long before the Pride is forever forgotten in history. Given their dire situation, the leader of the Pride, Zeus is looking for new members to bolster the rank.
Operations
Considering how small and insignificant the Pride is at the moment, most members rely on quest boards or rumors they overhear from local taverns or inns to find quests worthy of their time. Once a lion found his or her quest, they will often form parties to complete said quest for pay. Some will even go as far as to help others for free to spread the name of the Lion's Pride.
Not all Lions within the Pride get along, however, as cliques may form and compete with one another, hindering one another's progress to get ahead of the game. Although the more influential faction members try to police this as much as they can, they can never truly get rid of such behavior.
