Introduction

Hello, I’m Zero and one of the DMs on site! I’ve been roleplaying and jumping shit here and there for a good while, though my first real experience DMing had been here in TS. I prefer participating in big events as a DM, so there is a high chance you’ll see me around in site-wide events.

I’m a DM that likes improvising, and thus, flexibility is something I’m very capable of in my content. More often than not I like to hide interesting challenges and secrets in between my text and images that either foreshadow or point towards something worth of your time — I leave it in your hands whether or not to face and uncover them.

General Preference

• Style: Anime-ish, western medieval fantasy
• Genre: Fantasy, Horror
• Content: Story, puzzles, sandbox
• Interested Themes: Exploration, mystery, NPC interaction

• System: I enjoy both dice and freeform
• Difficulty Range: Challenging
• Realism: Moderately high, I avoid hand-waving things that don't make much sense

Party Preference

• Size: 4+ I enjoy big groups
• Composition: Balanced, the party must be able to cooperate in-character and have similar goal.

• Tone: Varies
• Creative Approach: I highly encourage creative solution to problems in my content, but try to keep them somewhat grounded in realism!

Interested Plots

• Faith I love any plot that involves exploring TS' religion and cults.
• Rift Travels I enjoy depicting other planes.
• Viking Anything involving Scandinavian raiding and seafaring is wonderful!

What players can expect

I am very adaptable and can work with players' interaction at the drop of a hat. Because of this gift, I do my best to explore stories or plots that players are interested in while weaving them into the main plot. Given the freedom you have over my world, feel free to lead the story, I will tell you what happens.

Because I enjoy MMORPG and games that have a lot of emphasis on combat, I will often use dice to facilitate combat in my threads. Some players do not enjoy dice and I can empathize with their distaste for RNG, but I can't do freeform battle well, so don't expect me to cater to that. My battles are also very logical and realistic, so don't expect to powerplay.

Another thing that players can expect is meta humor in my content, I will sometimes break the 4th wall for a laugh, though I try my best not to abuse this.

Finally, I enjoy creating clever logic puzzles, if you enjoy solving puzzles, I will be more than happy to include them in the story. However, if you don't care for them, let me know!

My expectation

I expect players to be respectful of me and their party members, as well as being communicative. If players are confused about details or perhaps want some opinion on their interaction, they should asking for clarifications or discuss their ideas with me! I am very open about discussing these things.

Since I highly prefer for the group to cooperate and stay together, in-character and out of character compatibility is a must! I also expect my players to try and keep up with the pace of posting so the thread doesn't grind to a halt.

Lastly, careful reading is very important, please do your best to read mine and others' posts!
