About
The Caenis is group of beastfolks who habit the harsh and reclusive Hyland mountains. Given their timid and reserved nature, Caenis never venture beyond their homeland. Because of this, their society are rather primitive and lacking in technological advances that human nations enjoy.
Most if not all Caenis live in small tribes of 30-40 people scattering around the Hyland mountains. Political, some tribes are led by elders while others are led by the strongest of the tribe.
Caenis also have two sub-races that heavily conflict with one another. Given all of the internal discord, infighting, and the harsh environment they inhabit, the Caenis population has been on a steadily decline since a few decades ago.
Appearance
The Canis are brutes compared to most. These taller beings have naturally stoic builds, and are intimidating to many they may come across. A set of canine ears protrude from their head, while a tail escapes their rear end. Colors and pattern vary from each of the species.

Lupus
These Caenis have strong wolf features with tall perky ears, sharp narrowed eyes, and a prominent bushy tail. As a sub-race, they consider themselves of higher social status than Famigna. Lupi with white fur is the ideal for these Caenis.
Famigna
These Caenis have dog features, with smaller ears that varies in shape. Their tail is also come in a number of shapes. It is very easy to differentiate a Famigna from a Lupus. Famigna is stockier and tend to have a squarer facial shape, while Lupus are sleek. Given that Lupus look down on them Famigna rarely ever live with Lupus unless they are okay with being second-class citizen.
