Preface

To equip armor of a specific rarity tier, you need to increase your "Armor" mastery. For weapons, you must increase the weapon or magic that let you equip them. If you are equipping an item that you don't have enough mastery to use, you simply do not gain their stats, the game won't stop you from equipping these items.

Although you have a limited number of equipment slots, you can have as many equipment as you want in your inventory. When you acquire an item, mods will remove the item it outranks to keep your inventory tidy.

You cannot trade or exchange equipment with other players.

Rarity

• For Armor and Accessory, look at Armor, a core Mastery, to determine what you can equip.
• For weapons or magical instruments, look at your highest magic mastery.
• When you start the game, your character do not have any equipment.

Slots

Arms 2 slots	You can wield two weapons, one weapon or a magical instrument, one 2-handed weapon, or two 2-handed weapons if you have Heroic Might.
Armor 5 slots	Slots: Head, chest, hands, legs, feet. Heavy Armor has low mobility, but high defense. Medium Armor has low defense, but high mobility. Light Armor little defense, but magic boost and energy regeneration.
Accessory 1 slot	Slot: Cloak, ring, and amulet. Use the Armor mastery to determine if you can equip an accessory of a particular tier.

Acquisition

NPC Shops	Outside of event reward, all players should be buying their equipment from NPC shops in the marketplace.
Special Vendors	You will also be able to purchase unique equipment via special vendors that appear after a story event, raid, world boss, or dungeon.
Loot	You can sign up to do Challenge or Treasure Chests to obtain loot. These are often very difficult and will put your character's life at stake.

Enchantment

This feature allows you to unlock special powers that you can use throughout your adventure, namely DM challenges and story events (see Adventuring). To obtain an enchantment, please check back at the rare shop every Sunday. You may also be able to obtain these from special vendors described above.

You can have as many enchantment as you want in your inventory, but you can only use ONE in a DM thread.

When you first obtain an enchantment, it will appear yellow (rare) and mention 1/3. You can increase this number by obtaining or purchasing enchantment stones. Once you reach 2/3, your enchantment may give you a special visual effects. Upon reaching 3/3, your enchantment will become pink (ascended) and its power can be used in DM content.
