About
Caenis are groups of beastfolks who inhabit the harsh and reclusive Hyland mountains. Due to their reserved nature, caenis rarely venture beyond their homeland. Because of this, their society is rather primitive and lacking in technological advances that other nations enjoy.
Most caenis live in small tribes of 30-40 people scattered around the mountainous region. Some of these are led by elders while others are led by the strongest of the tribe.
Internal disputes are frequent and bloody, which has led to a steady decline of their population over the past few centuries.
Appearance
Caenis possess a strong build which enables them to survive in colder and harsher environments that others might avoid.
They feature canine tails, fangs, and ears protruding from the top of their heads.

Lupus
These Caenis have strong wolf features with tall perky ears, sharp narrowed eyes, and a prominently bushy tail. As a sub-race, they consider themselves of higher social status than Famigna. Lupi with white fur is the ideal for these Caenis.
Familis
These Caenis have dog features, with smaller ears that varies in shape. Their tail is also come in a number of shapes. It is very easy to differentiate a Famigna from a Lupus. Famigna is stockier and tend to have a squarer facial shape, while Lupus are sleek. Given that Lupus look down on them Famigna rarely ever live with Lupus unless they are okay with being second-class citizen.
