Preface

The Lion’s Pride, or Lions for short, is a longstanding collection of adventurers who aspire to become protectors of the world and getting recognized for their achievements, heroes.

Although there was a time when their services were necessary to maintain peace and order, they have not been needed once players started to appear in the world. Replaced by players, the Lions lost its funding and support of the people. With poor financial management as the final nail on the coffin, this once grand standing organization fell apart, a ghost of its former self.

The Lion’s Pride fulfills its creeds by taking up quests and fulfilling requests. They also dispatch during times of emergency to resolve the issue or help out. Although the Pride encourages cooperation between members, its hierarchy pushes its members into competing with one another to complete quests and gain more fame and recognition as a result.

Members of the Lion’s Pride often gather in inns where they form parties and pick up quests, as well as to catch up on all of the rumors around the world.

Ranking

Structurally, The Lion's Pride is a meritocratic organization where heroic deeds and fame will move the member up the rank.

Bronze	A nickname for new or untrained recruits.
Iron	The most common rank among the group.
Silver	The most common rank among the group.
Gold	Very experienced hunters who can hold their own weight in battle, often leading larger raids.
Platinum	These title-holders are privvy to secrets held by the group. Their position is akin to that of officers in other guilds or orders.
Mythril	The hardest, and most presitigous, rank to recieve. Elders are at the top of the pyramid. They are those who have hunted legendary monsters by themselves. They are very influential within the group.
Orichalcum	The hardest, and most presitigous, rank to recieve. Elders are at the top of the pyramid. They are those who have hunted legendary monsters by themselves. They are very influential within the group.
Adamantite	The hardest, and most presitigous, rank to recieve. Elders are at the top of the pyramid. They are those who have hunted legendary monsters by themselves. They are very influential within the group.

Important NPCs

Zeus - An old man who has devoted his entire life developing heroes to save the world. Although he is an incredibly accomplished adventurer, his terrible management skills led the Pride down the dark path it's in currently. Socially, Zeus is an enigmatic force who speaks loudly and laugh at everything.
