Standard
Cleave weapons are versatile tools ranging from small to massive in size and thickness. Using a combination of the weapon’s razor edge and the momentum of its swings to cut through its opponents, these weapons do especially well in close combat and against armored target.

Awakened
Spirit Guardian gives the user the ability to summon the spirit of a fallen hero to defend them in combat. This allows the user to put more effort into attacking instead of defending. The spirit takes the shape of a ghostly or misty figure wielding a cleaved weapon similar to that of the user.

Skill Set

Gore These skills involves repetitive cutting or chopping that is great for bigger targets
Sunder These skills excel at sundering heavily-armored targets, exposing them to more damage.
Summon Spirits (Awakened) This ability allows the user to summon guardian spirits that will add to his or her defense.
Guardian (Awakened) The summoned guardians can function without the user's input, though, they will mostly focus on keeping the user out of harm's way or to block incoming attacks. Guardians can hold a decent conversation when they are spoken to.

Weapon

Cleaver (One-handed) Best type for sawing instead of hacking like axes.
